Narrator for Avatar YouTube Channel
Project Overview
Looking to hire a narrator for a YouTube channel focused on Avatar (James Cameron). This role involves narrating in-depth videos covering the world of Pandora, character analysis, lore breakdowns, theories, and story explanations from the Avatar film series.
The narration style should be immersive, clear, and engaging, with a strong focus on storytelling. The content is designed to guide viewers through the universe of Avatar, so the ability to maintain a cinematic and consistent tone is important.
This channel is strictly focused on James Cameron’s Avatar franchise and does NOT involve Avatar: The Last Airbender. Content will be similar in style and format to these other established Avatar-focused YouTube channels:
A strong understanding of the Avatar universe is highly preferred, including familiarity with the lore, characters, Na’vi culture, and major story events. You MUST be able to pronounce key names and terms correctly, as accuracy is important for maintaining quality and immersion in the narration.
This includes names and terminology such as Neytiri, Metkayina, Neteyam, Toruk Makto, Omatikaya, Mo’at, Lo'ak, Tsireya, Aonung, Ronal, Tonowari, Eywa, Varang, and the Na’vi, along with any other related locations, clans, and cultural terms.
Videos will typically be long-form, so the ability to maintain pacing and engagement over extended scripts is essential. Prior narration or voiceover experience is preferred, especially for YouTube content. This is a remote, long-term role with consistent work for the right candidate. Scripts will be provided, so the focus is entirely on narration.
Payment is $50 per script, and this rate is negotiable depending on experience, quality of delivery, and overall fit for the role. Higher rates may be offered for stronger performers or more experienced narrators who consistently deliver high-quality work and bring added value to the channel.
