Audiobook Narrators
Project Overview
Hello everyone! This project is for a few audiobook projects that I am in charge of finding roles for. I need male and female narrators who can record by themself and together. Please audition to the corresponding role. The books are Youth Adult, so there will be some sexual content and profanity within, so please do not audition if you are not comfortable with this. It would be PG-13. All narrator roles are paid. All payment will be made through either paypal or venmo.
Deadlines:
Each book is a different number of words, but normally between 150,000-250,000 words. After you have been cast, I will send you the book and you will have about 3-4 weeks to send in your lines. Please be able to meet this. After this I will send out payments within a week.
Requirements:
1. Please have fun!
2. Please have good quality. If you do not have a decent microphone please do not audition. Also just a tip. If you have a good mic but it doesn't seem to be working well make sure it is connected in whatever editing program you are using. And it is an xlr mic, sometimes you have to download an extra software on your computer so that your interface will work. This is important. Also, if you feel like it still is having a bad sound it may be because there is too much processing. Noise reduction can ruin your files.
3. Please just send one take of the sample and record 3-5 minutes of the passage provided.
4. Please DO NOT slate auditions. Only send the audition.
5. If it is for the male and female narrator role, please have two separate people recording the sample. I don't know if I can find anyone who is able to record with a partner, but we'll see. If you do not have a partner I have other books that just need a single narrator too. So please audition in the appropriate area.
6. Please include a maximum word count you would be able to record each month. Just to put it in context, 30,000 words is about 100 pages and it takes about 4-6 hours to record 10,000 words.
7. Please convey a lot of emotion when speaking the character lines. We need it to sound realistic.
8. Please note that I previously posted a Casting call similar to this, but CCC just takes it down after so many days, so I just made a new one. If you have previously sent me an audition on one of my old castings, I still have yours, so you don't need to reaudition unless you wanted to try a better take.

This is for the narrator for the audiobooks. I will need multiple people and you can record in an American accent. The rate is $50 PFH (per finished hour (9,000 words)). This means an hour of clean and edited audio, not an hour of recording time. So if you had a 210,000 word book, you'd get paid $1,166. But please only audition IF YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FINISH. I have had problems in the past where I had a narrator who recorded half the book and then quit on me and this then looks bad on my part because narrators have to be the same and consistent throughout the entire book. *And please list your available wordcount per month when you audition.*

Hi I need one female voice and one male voice recording the passage. It needs to be two actual different people who can record and edit their audio together. The female voice reads everything but the actual male voice lines. Ex. narration and female voice. If you have any questions feel free to message me and ask. You can record in an American accent.
