Project Overview

REQUIREMENTS

-Be ontop of the work, and make sure to do the recordings asap, because eventually I want to be uploading comics once per day.


AVAILABLE CHARACTERS

Adrien/Chat Noir!!!


~I thought Hawk Moth at first then realized I also need Gabriel Agreste but figured it was okay to have the same person voicing hawk moth to voice Gabriel Agreste~


~If multiple people audition and I choose someone over you, if you want you can still help for other side characters~


RULES

-You can submit files for multiple characters, and there is a chance I will accept you for both roles depending on how your voice sounds as diffferent characters and the importance of those characters, like if one of them is exclusively for one comic, while another might be in any since that character is part of the actual show, I might pick you for both. 


-You can use your own lines for any of the characters, look at other comic dubs for lines or pull lines straight from the show, but I chose some of those lines because I thought if someone could pull them off well, it would prove your skills. However, I do not discourage looking for your own lines because you might find something that proves your skills more.


-If you use your own lines, I expect that you create a scenario and explain them in the audio or in a message to me

~I didn't know how this worked at first, I didn't realize you could only submit files to the listed roles, I thought there was like a comment section where you could just submit work and talk for some reason~


~As time goes on I'll probably extend the deadline and add different character roles as I need, but eventually I might create a new project? I'm not sure, but I most likely will be adding new roles every now and then because I'm never sure what artists will accept me to dub their comics or not, or what characters are to come on an on going comic.

  • It's over!!

    Yay! I finally got a voice for Adrien! Thank you everyone for auditioning, sorry again if I didnt pick you but just keep trying! I'm actually shocked I got a voice for Adrien, and I really liked it too, I thought I was going to have to extend the time again, but happily I won't. Also sorry there wasn't a Marinette, I planned to voice her a while ago and find some friends to voice the other characters but that turned out to be very difficult because my friend's were busy or didn't want to do it or probably wouldn't sound right for the character so I did a few searches and found this website, and I absolutely love it! I'm so happy I found this website, because without it my channel wouldn't be going anywhere. That's also why (if any of you saw my videos or my original description) I was unsire about voice actor's for Adrien and Nino because I had friends to voice them but I wasn't sure if they were going to get busy or didn't really want to do it, and I think my friend for Nino is okay with doing it still, I'm not sure, but my friend for Adrien is really busy all the time so he was like yeah finding someone else would probably be better. I feel like this process has already helped me personally improve, and I hope all you continue to! Anyway, that's it, thank you for readig if you did and sorry if my grammar is bad or something.

  • Roles

    I just need one more role!!! Adrien! I have desperately needed Adrien for a while, but I've gotten people for all the other roles DX not that I'm not happy to have found people for those roles, I am and thank you everyone for auditioning!! I appreciate the effort even if I didn't pick you, but I'm sure if you keep working and auditioning for more roles you'll eventually be accepted for something! 

    Hopefully I can find a voice for Adrien soon.

    Not having a voice for Adrien has really halted my work and I haven't been able to make any videos without him :c

  • Casting

    Okay, so I already have decided on some of the people that I like for certain roles and decided since I'm most likely going to choose them anyway, I'd rather cast them now and work on the other characters that I still need. Except... I don't know hwo to cast roles so I just closed them... does anyone know how?

In the first line Adrien is excited because there was an akuma the day before as well as the current day for him, so he gets to see ladybug two days in a row, but Plagg is being a baby and complaining about having to fight so much.


The second one he's trying to be brave and tell ladybug how he feels and give her a gift that he and Marinette had made together, and Plagg is unertain that's the best thing to do after he and MArinette spent time together making it, and she had just confessed her feelings to him but he turned her down, so his tone is probably a little bit sad at first and should evolve into confidence that he's doing the right thing.


The final one is as Chat Noir and he see's how Ladybug is upset, and so he's trying to get her to play a game with him but she refuses so he started to challenge her and be full of himself/over confisdent in a silly way.

I don't know how he should sound honestly, but he's obviously complaining and whining about constantly having to deal with villains, and being rude and laughing at Adrien despite that he's troubled.

So, I had trouble finding lines that I thought would be good for him, so I just used lines from the Christmas episode.


Anyway, Hawk Moth is Obviously pleasured that Ladybug was the one who angered someone, and Gabriel Agreste is being a bit too protective in a rude way and furious that "santa clause" is with his son and blames him for his son's disappearance.


I request at least one line from both Hawk Moth and Gabriel Agreste.

K-9 is kind of like a werewolf, so i imagine is voice kind of harsh like a growling dog, but obviously talking like a human.

The first line he is talking to Alya and Marinette who are excited about events that happened with Adrien and Marinette and Alya is getting Marinette's hopes up by saying that Adrien totally likes her, but Nino doesn't agree and is uncertain that's the best thing to do/say.


The second line Nino is talking to Adrien and curious, trying to get Adrien to tell him who he likes.


The third one Nino is talking to Adrien referencing how Adrien rejected Marinette after Marinette told Adrien how she felt about him, and Nino -being the caring friend he is- is supporting Adrien and trying to make him feel better about the whole thing.

In the lines I have offered, Alya is upset because Adrien rejected Marinette after she confessed her feelings to him, and then Chloe started making fun of Marinette for thinking she had a chance with Adrien and telling Marinette that Adrien confessed his feelings for her before he even started going to school and bragging about how they were childhood friends, so Alya is pissed at Chloe and Adrien because Marinette has been a wreck due to them.
