Murder Mystery Musical Round 3
Project Overview
Why a round 3? We've had some people drop over the course of this with incomplete parts, and I'm looking to get this thing finally completed. The deadline I'm looking at to have all the parts completed is before the end of September. That gives about 2 months from when the auditions are done.
My pay scale is based on how many songs the roles have as well as if the roles have a solo line or are part of a chorus.
For auditions, it doesn't matter if you supply it with or without music, as long as it's skillful.

Operetta of the Golden Witch (a musical based on a fan-made chapter of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni a.k.a. Umineko When They Cry)
18 humans trapped on an island, getting killed off. Is the killer a witch and her demon attendants, or is it one of them? On another plane of existence, that is the debate between the witch and her victim.
Now let's put it all to music, shall we? 30 songs, almost all parodies of songs from existing musicals, from Disney to Sondheim to Webber.
It's all written and done. I just want the songs actually sung. A musical without music is just some odd formatting on a page. I don't have much funding, since this is just a pet project of mine, but you're welcome to use the songs in your portfolios once I've mixed them.

Deadline
Alright, by my clock the day ends in about two hours, so I'm calling deadline! I have heard back from most that I sent DMs to, but not all. As I have heard back from enough that I could fill all parts, I will leave the window open for 24 more hours for folks to reply to DMs. If I haven't heard from you by this time tomorrow, I will assume you are out. I will be sending notes to those who sent DMs so you know I got them, and making last- ditch attempts to reach those I haven't. Again, thank you all! -
Preliminary Screening Complete
Hey all! First, I want to note that auditions will remain open through the 18th as planned, so if you haven't submitted one yet, you still can. So I've gone through the auditions submitted so far (102!) and I've picked out a few for each role. I have DMed them on here letting them know and asking them a couple quick questions just to confirm we're all on the same page before I make final decisions. If you got a DM, congratulations on making it to the finals, and please respond ASAP. If you did not get a DM, please believe me when I say it was a tough choice with so many applicants. Usually it was little things like mic quality or enunciation that made the difference. If you want me to give you specifics, please feel free to DM me. Thanks to everyone who has auditioned so far!
