Murder in Mondstadt is a murder mystery spin on Genshin focusing on the characters Amber and Kaeya as they find the murderer of Jean Gunnhildr. This project will be making a trailer for this story. The final trailer will be similar to Webtoon trailers and manga AMVs as it will be a trailer to a comic rather than an animation. I will be doing all the audio editing and visuals.
I am a college art student and I'm making a murder mystery comic based on the game Genshin for my school project. I realized this would be too much work for my limited time, so I decided to make it as a "pitch concept" instead and a trailer of that would be the best approach. Once this project is completed, it will be displayed in my school's art showcase at the end of the semester.
I have already found a VA for Diluc, and I may possible voice Amber or Rosaria if no one is able to fill those positions.

This character requires shouting and strong emotions.
Kaeya is one of the main characters and is the lead detective for the case of Jean Gunnihldr's murder. He usually hides his true emotions with a charming facade, but in this situation he's stressed and starting to show his worries. He doesn't fully believe Amber is capable of helping him, so he pushes her away and tries to deal with the case using his own strength.

(Looking at his clues, defeated and hopeless) What am I missing..?
(Trying to grab her attention, desperate and in panic, being overpowered by the culprit) Amber... Amber! Just SHOOT!
This character requires a strong display of emotion.
Amber is one of the main characters in this story. Amber is a cop assigned to help detective Kaeya with the case of Jean Gunnhildr's death. Everyone around her underestimates her, but she tries her best to stay positive and help. While she is usually bubbly, this situation causes her to tightly cling onto hope. In the later scenes she breaks down and becomes hopeless. I would love for someone to display this range through their voice!

Rosaria is one of the side characters in this story, but she plays an important role in keeping the others grounded. She seems to be the only character that keeps her cool throughout the story. However, she's blunt, honest, and tells things others need to hear in a cold manner. One line requires slight shouting and urgency.

Mona plays a minor role in the story. Mona is a great and powerful hydromancer, in the story she uses hydromancy to see visions in order to help Kaeya and Amber solve who killed Jean as well as earning a pretty penny. She doesn't care too much about the murder, but she mainly wants to get paid in order to pay her rent. Mona is quite prideful in her work, and adores when people are in awe of her powers.

The bartender has only one line, so this is a low pressure role. I'm think of the cliche deep husky voice your typical DND bartender would have when giving intel. Think of Vander from Arcane.
