Monologue for Paper Lily Video Essay
Project Overview
I'm making a video essay going through the story and my experience playing the horror rpg Paper Lily - Chapter 1. A lot of the video is comedic, but Miss Knives was such a compelling character, that I want to tell her story in the best way that I can. Miss Knives is the main boss of Paper Lily Chapter 1, so this is the climax of the video.
Voice Actor
Miss Knives is a demon. Her lines consist of a longer, dramatic monologue telling the viewer the tragic story of her past. Miss Knives was a blind girl who was granted six blessings, the first being her eyesight. As Miss Knives receives more blessings, her and her family is suspected of witchcraft, leading to many unfortunate ends.
The voice of Miss Knives needs to be a young adult female. Throughout the monologue, she stays very somber as she tells her sad tale. But there are moments of intense anger, pain, fear, or grief.
The entire monologue for this role is roughly 4 minutes long. It is taken from lines in the game Paper Lily - Chapter 1.

(sad) What are these eyes? I don't recognize them. I don't want them. You can have them back. These are not my eyes.
(angry and in pain) Curse this. Curse this! It hurts! I hate them. How could they cheer for this? How could they be so cruel? I wish they were all dead.
