MODIFIED: a sci-fi themed tactical FPS focused on gene manipulation.
Project Overview
Trimera is looking for two experienced female voice actors to fill a major and minor voice acting role!
We are a team of passionate professionals and hobbyists from 19 differing countries with a drive to make unique and most importantly fun games. Right at this moment we are neck deep in developing MODIFIED, a sci-fi themed FPS with a unique focus on DNA manipulation. As of right now we aren't at the stage where we need a whole cast of voice-actors but we do have some spots right now that need filling for an upcoming trailer.
What are we looking for?
- Right now we are looking for a voice-actor for Kimya, one of our main playable characters. She is the fast-paced assassin type character with light armor and high mobility. She has very little armor but she makes up for that with her speed. For her voice-actor we are looking for preferably a very central American accent. Kimya herself has quite a bit of attitude on her, and she isn't the most sociable person either. Think of her as someone who isn't good in small talk, but is absolutely fluent in military lingo.
- The other voice-actor we are looking for is for a minor character named Olivia Rosemond. She is the CEO of Helix, an interstellar pharmaceutical corporation. She is stoic, formal, professional and very assertive. Think of her as someone who doesn't care about the smaller sacrifices because the "big picture" is all that matters.
What do we ask of you?
Since we are developers over 19 different countries, we would prefer that if you are auditioning that you have adequate equipment and experience in voice-acting. This naturally means that you posses a good microphone, good audio quality and on-time delivery of requested voice-lines.
What can you expect in form of payment?
There is no upfront payment. We offer shares in our company and in the profits of our first game according to effort invested.
Deadline
Right now as of this posting, the deadline is exactly two weeks from now. (27 december)
When the casting call closes, we will be selecting a voice-actor and will be inviting them to our discord to take part in the development process and of course for voicing the casted character.

We have finally concluded the casting call for Kimya and Olivia. We here thank you all for auditioning and don't fret if we didn't select you, there are more casting calls underway in the future! For now though we thank you all for the effort and time you took for auditioning. Keep on the lookout for any future casting calls from us!

Final casting will be made later, not on the deadline itself
Dear Voice Actors, due to the holidays and the amount of auditions we received for both roles, we are making the final decision for casting both roles a little bit later than the original deadline. Right now the team is discussing and deciding which role to cast which actor to, and due to the holidays this has taken a bit longer than we anticipated. Rest assured a final casting will be made, but as of today there probably will not be a final casting just yet. We here thank you for all the auditions you submitted so far and hope you had a great holiday season. -
Thank you for all the auditions you submitted so far!
Due to the unexpected number of auditions we find it hard to individually respond to auditions without it sounding like an automated "thank you" message. So that's why we are posting this update to let you all know that we ARE taking time for each audition carefully! We are listening and analyzing each audition and will give an upvote for your audition if we've listened to it! Still at this time there will not be any decisions met because of the deadline. We will however be posting an update slightly before the deadline to reveal who has been cast. Thank you again to you voice-actresses for auditioning, you all sound great.

Think of her as someone who isn't good in small talk, but is absolutely fluent in military lingo. She is your typical Femme Fatale.
(Heavy breathing, grunts, because this is what we mostly need for the trailer at this moment)
(Militaristic yelling:)
1. Get them off me!
2. Taking heavy enemy fire!
3. Cover me, I'm moving in on them!
(Serious:) I don't like waiting when there is a mission that has to be done.
(Sarcastic:) Sure, that's why you needed my help last time, because you "got it under control".
(Irritated:) If it wasn't against protocol, you would've met the end of my pistol a long time ago.
She is the CEO Helix, an interstellar pharmaceutical corporation. She is stoic, formal, professional and very assertive. Think of her as someone who doesn't care about the smaller sacrifices because the "big picture" is all that matters. She can also at times come across as very philosophical.
(Serious/narrative:)
1. You think you're free.
2. You think you're independent.
3. You have no idea how fragile we all are, how easy it would be, to slip over the edge.
(Serious/narrative, slightly more dramatic:)
1. We are surrounded by enemies. The worlds we live upon conspire to kill us. We are not prepared. Not yet.
2. Mankind is not yet fit to survive out here. We must be stronger. We must be faster.
