Project Overview

Mimion (a mix of the name Mimi and Minion), is an
original character created for the YouTube channel Chu! Bam! Pow!

Mimion is an older sister type character.

She is kind while also being grounded in logic.

Her companion, Chu, is constantly creating harebrained
schemes to take over the world and Mimion tries to be encouraging while also
gently, subtly guiding her crazy friend on a better path.

IS THIS A RECURRING ROLE? 


The outright answer is no. The long answer is yes. I'm sorry that this is strange!


Adding Mimion's speaking lines to my channel I think will garner a lot of positive response! But I feel that it would be quite some time before I would need a new batch of lines, or more specific lines.


The hope would be that when I needed more lines (again, it's not a guarantee I ever will or that it would be any time soon I'm afraid), that the voice actress who was selected for this round would reprise the role! I would love that so much!


But I also understand that it's not a certainty that another script will be made. And it's a big question of when it would be made if it was. So it would be unfair of me to ask you to promise to come back for this role. Again, I would love it if the selected voice actress would stay attached to the role! I would LOVE that! But it is not a prerequisite to audition!

  • Auditions Have Closed!

    Thank you so much for all of the enthusiasm and participation over the past two weeks! I have had such a fun time listening to your amazing voices and imagining these voices filling the shoes of my mascot. I have finished reviewing all of the auditions and the selected actress has been contacted via CCC's casting method! Thank you so, so much again. I have been on the other side of this so many times and really heard so much care and effort in so many of your lines. I am super humbled and feel so grateful. Thank you!

  • We're on a roll!

    Thank you so much for everyone's interest in Mimion! We're at almost 40 auditions already which is overwhelming -- but wonderful! I just wanted to say that I have loved listening to your voices and your excitement! There are nine days left in the audition period and I shouldn't take long after to notify the actress selected. I can't wait to work with you!

  • Mimion Art!

    I wanted to post a quick update! Mimion being Chu! Bam! Pow!'s official mascot has been seen a lot around both of my channels! She has had several commissioned artworks created of her, wallpapers, heck, she's even a keychain currently for sale! All official art I have commissioned of her so far has been totally wholesome and safe for work. She is a wholesome kind of character all in all. Someone I hope people find comfort in. However, I wanted to post an update because as part of a special Patreon tier, we are currently in the process of creating "Ecchi" art of both of the channel's mascots. This is the first time we have done this and we probably will not do this again for a long time. There is paid version of the artwork that will be a reward tier on Patreon that will also show the character nude or partially nude. Voice actors often grow very close to their characters so I wanted to let folks auditioning know! I felt that it would be a rude surprise to some to find a character they had grown fond of featured without their clothes on! This does not change anything about the lines or recordings or the character for that matter. This one artwork is just a VERY special paid reward for fans. I would NEVER ask you to submit NSFW lines! Again, I just wanted folks to know that official art would at some point be out there (behind a paywall) of the character in this state of... undress. I appreciate your understanding and hope you will still give the auditions your all! And if you're not comfortable being associated with Mimion, I understand that too! Please let me know if you have any questions!
