Greetings! I am Kevin / Moonlight150 a voice actor, podcaster & content creator on YouTube / various podcast platforms. I recently began a series of comedic chapter reviews for the 100 Girlfriends manga on my channel and it has been my biggest success so far. I'm obsessed with the series and I love making content, so why not combine the two? Now I've gotten into the idea of possibly fandubbing the series since the anime will take far too long and I am too impatient lol. Plus I've always wanted to make content to give newer VAs a chance to be in more stuff.
I've spent some time in my editor testing how I would like the videos to play out and everything seems doable. Now I just need voices!
NOTE: Please keep in mind, currently this is only a commitment to dubbing Chapter 1. There is no guarantee I will dub the entire ongoing manga series. This is to gauge my viewer's interest in a project like this, as well as how much of a hurdle it is to edit. If it's a success on YouTube and the editing doesn't kill me. I will most likely continue it!
My only pre-requisite is clear audio. So your mic and recording space quality will be judged alongside the delivery of the lines. USB or XLR microphones are acceptable as long as it sounds good!
If you don't know the manga/anime series. It is a romantic comedy with gag humor and punchlines.
(No need to sound like the original Japanese or English dub voice actors, if you can, that's great! But I am also open to different interpretations. Just needs to sound fitting for the age/character.)
Edit Update: There is like a 90% chance I'll continue past Chapter 1. So everyone who auditions for Hakari or Karane will also be kept on file to be considered for future Girlfriend characters if they don't get those roles. (Unless you don't want your info to be kept on file, let me know).
