Madness Combat: Project Nexus 2 Voice Acted FULL GAME
Project Overview
I'm looking for passionate Madness Combat fans to help me bring Project Nexus to its apex! While the development team and voice actors did an amazing job at fully immersing the player in the world of Nevada, I always felt like the expression of dialogue through non-voiced textboxes was such a missed opportunity. The voicelines expressed the characters so well in other areas of the game, hearing the VA's themselves fully read and express all of the dialogue would have been fantastic!
However, given they are professionals and I am mostly broke, I'm going to rely on passionate fans like myself to help do this instead!
Voice Actors will be needed for most main characters, including Hank, Sanford, Jebediah, Tricky, and Phobos. VA's will be selected based off of the samples provided and then will be expected to participate until the project's completion. The project will be episodic, beginning with the tutorial and continuing until the story mode is finished. Arena mode will likely be tackled as well, though at a much later date.
VA's are expected to have Discord or some other means of keeping in contact with myself! Email will also be needed to send the .mp3 files of the dialogue.

Hank is intimidating -- if it wasn't obvious. Most of his lines are short and to the point. Infact, he's the only playable character who never says an actual 'voice acted' word, just grunts and grumbles, which is why this requires a bit of imagination on your end. His voice is meant to be comically deep and rough, kind of like Batman. More than likely the voice lines will be applied with a Voice Filter which adds that little bit of robotic pizazz that you'd expect from a man with a robotic jaw.
He's not gonna do much talking, but he will take the most finesse, since he's the only one who doesn't have a voice to go off of already.
[Annoyed] "Why isn't this thing going faster? You forget how to drive up there?"
[Defensively] "Doesn't matter. 'Destroy Project Nexus'. That's the mission. It always has been. Why are we still talking about this?"
[Amused, but resigned] "No sense jumping a perfectly good tollbooth arm."
This one's gonna be tough. As far as I've seen, it's borderline impossible to replicate the unique charm of JohnnyUtah's voice work. If you can convincingly do it, great! Otherwise, try to swing somewhere in the ballpark of "big buff dude who's probably a little insane", because quite frankly, that's all Sanford is. He's mostly pretty stern and serious when the situation needs it, but he's seen as energetic during fighting scenarios, so get ready to pump your energy up to 100 with some of those lines!
[Frustrated] "We've got a man down here, chucklehead. You mind?"
[Concerned] "Hank, have you not been listening? We've stopped the project. It's over! And Christoff can save all of us without compromising the mission! Everyone wins!"
[Urgent, mid-fight] "Any chance of you chuckleheads getting us out of here today? We're getting swamped."
Your average fodder AAHW Agent. You'll probably be yelling generic stuff like "Let's get them" the whole time, but that's part of the charm! More than 1 person can probably have this role as well.
[Angrily] "Pull over! You're not getting away!"
[Commanding] "Targets continuing to flee! Take them out!"
[Authoritative] "We've trained for this! Prepare to engage!"
The strangely Australian junkers and bandits found throughout the tutorial level. Ideally sounding kind of insane and out of their minds. Not enough that it's unnerving, but enough that you can totally believe this guy eating children and garbage.
[Curious] "Hey, what'd you find? Share with me, or I'm eating your children!"
[Excited] "Did'ja see that truck crash? I get dibs on the bones!"
[Upset] "Fine! But next time, YOU get the ammo, and I get to eat the garbage!"
