Artists, you are called upon!
Hay, I’m Athien, and I’m looking for artists of multiple styles, genres and areas of expertise! First off, I’m an independent, Australian author, and my first book, Sentinel, is going to be available for print in April this year. I’ve been working really hard on it, and I’m proud to say it’s finished and ready to be read. As a learning artist myself, I have yet to develop the skills I need to SHOW, the world the stories I am writing, and plan to write.
That’s where you come in! I’m looking for multiple people to draw art for me on a few projects, with a potential for more in the future. I’m willing to pay (not sure how much yet), but some of the works will be featured and shown off at a convention with 200K foot traffic, so even if the pay isn’t AMAZING, the amount of exposure will be.
This art will go a huge way in developing visual aids for the audiences of the people that’ll see them. It’ll also help me in planning and developing the books themselves. Like I said above, I’m looking for multiple artists, that are willing to not only share their art, but perhaps have me be able to use it for prints(that’ll be sold thus we’d share in profits), merchandise, and have them enlarged for advertising at stalls I’m attending. I’m looking for people I can partner with, so that we can continue to design and make more art in the future. IDEALLY, I’m looking for Australian artists that’ll be able to communicate with my time zone (also an aussie). I’m looking for those who maybe haven’t become professional but are looking for opportunity to grow, and actual professionals as well!
I’m not just looking to buy your art, and get commissions, I’m looking for people who think writing and storytelling is cool, like I do, and who want to get out there and be seen.

Sentinel is a crime/contemporary/vigilante novel. I’ll need some realistic, modern day world art, portraits, some action scenes, character designs and symbols made. There’s shadows, light, and lots of city life, so some modern cityscapes would be cool to.

My third project is a futuristic piece, set in a world full of neon lights and huge crowds of people. It’s a high tech metropolis, and I’ll need art for superpowered people, with bright colors, some sport shots, with hover boards and other cool gadgets, and maybe a couple cityscapes of the huge place. It also has semi-dark elements, and shadows play a large part.

Fantasy, I have an upcoming works that features 6 short novels, before delving into an Epic novel. It’s based around magic, elements and other types. There’s big landscapes and naturally designed houses, along with mountains and oceans and islands. I’ll need fantasy character arts, some silhouettes, and other types of art as well.
