Project Overview
Lonely is a short comedic series about a hapless Lone Ranger living in modern day hipster Brooklyn (NYC). The first episode from 2022 can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JY90q04hoZM.
In this episode the Ranger's mask gets him into all sorts of trouble when he is mistaken for a building package thief.
I'm looking for a feisty elderly man and woman, a sexy widow and a man for a short funeral speech.
The project will be a hobby level animation approximately 7 minutes long with an estimated completion in Summer 2024 (July?). Each role will pay 10$ via PayPal once the VO is complete.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The initial deadline for auditions was Sat Jan 27th at midnight EST. I am extending the deadline to Sat Feb 3 at midnight EST.
Please record in the quietest environment accessible to you (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- I don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice).
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three takes would be great!.
Recordings can be submitted as one .wav file per scene to the email address, which will be provided to you after casting. If a file is too large to submit via email, we will make alternate arrangements.
