Project Overview

Welcome to the Wonderlab Dub! We aim to create a comic dub of Wonderlab, the spinoff comic to Project Moon's monster management simulator game, Lobotomy Corporation. Hoping to shed light on this niche little corner of an already niche community, this project was born out of passion for Project Moon.

A fun note for voice actors. Per intention of the original writers, 95% of the characters have no gender! People of all ages and identities are encouraged to apply, even if your voice differs from what's listed on the roles (Highly encouraged! I am very easily impressed).

We will likely need a video editor or two to assist in breathing life to the images of the comic, moving panels around and unveiling words as they're spoken in the dub. With the panels consisting of angled, squared shapes, it would be relatively simple to crop out the panels and place them on a video editing canvas. To add a little bit of flair, an artist able to make simplified backgrounds to use based on the current location in the comic would definitely help make this dub stand out.

Having assistance in the audio engineering would certainly help, as I (project head) am admittedly quite inexperienced with the process of making a comic dub. One of the three main characters of Wonderlab, Catt is the sole survivor of an incident that wiped out the Disciplinary Team, of which they captain. Catt is cynical and blunt, even creepy in the way they speak to their coworkers, though has their own little quirks, which become more evident as they slowly open up throughout the series. Mostly looking for a feminine voice, a little higher in pitch.

One of the three main character of Wonderlab. A more emotional individual and possibly the most inexperienced of the three leads, and initially a counselor in the Training team, Taii is promoted to Disciplinary following their quick thinking in suppressing an Abnormality that caused a coworker they counseled to rampage, which they take surprisingly well, despite some initial difficulties. Voice can be either masculine or feminine.
