Lobotomy Corporation: A New Voice! (Lobotomy Corporation English Fandub)
Project Overview
Lobotomy Corporation is a newly established energy company that isolates Abnormalities and extracts an infinite amount of energy from them by using independently developed technology, or so it seems on the outside. Join the corporation, and witness the true reality with your own eyes.
Lobotomy Corporation: A New Voice! is a long-term project aimed at bringing to life the story of Project Moon’s Lobotomy Corporation, as the game currently doesn't include any voice acting. Our goal is to present the story fully-voiced so that it can reach a larger audience who may not play the game themselves, as well as other content such as the Abnormality stories and things created by fans! We also aim to reach those that already know of the game, to provide them with a fresh new experience of the story!
Upon completion of our goal, perhaps we dare to step foot in the Library of Babel...
"A New Voice" is a new fan-dub studio, having debuted with a comprehensive English 'Project Sekai' dub of not just in-game event dialogue, but all songs and covers as well. With a strong and growing team of people, it's gone on to garner a 6,000 strong YouTube following, amassing a small but dedicated fanbase. Of course, this constant output of quality content has only been achieved by the ambition and skill of its directors. The project will be headed by guest director, Ramen in a Cupboard, with additional direction and project management being provided by a Co-Director of PRSK:ANV, tigerjolteo, both being immensely invested fans of the game!
Audition Rules!- Please be 16 or older.
- Make sure your microphone is of clean quality. Heavy reverb or static is not tolerated.

- Please record in the AABBCC format, with a maximum of 3 takes per line.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Angela is a highly advanced Artificial Intelligence taking the form of a blue-haired, pale-skinned woman; her eyes are rarely seen open, except for when she is angry. Her roles include the surveillance of the entire facility, giving X (the Player) advice on how to interact with abnormalities and handle breaches, acting as the manager of the Sephirot, and other unspecified tasks. According to her, Angela's skills have caused many people to lose their jobs.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Keter Episode 1 (NOTE: Angela's demeanour in Library of Ruina is different than hers in Lobotomy Corporation. In Lobotomy Corporation, she should be more refined and not as sharp with her delivery, though still just as deliberate.)
NOTES:
- Angela is the character with the most dialogue lines in-game, so be prepared to do a lot of reading.
- Angela speaks with clear enunciation and an air of elegance at all times. You should be able to convey her emotions and intentions well but maintain her poise and grace.
- You will also be required to read for Carmen, who is described as a highly enthusiastic, altruistic, and ambitious person.

(Speaking with a neutral expression, a slight customer service voice is the best way to describe it) Hello, X. I give you a warm welcome to Lobotomy Corporation. I am Angela, your advisor and secretary. My role as an AI is to assist you in adjusting to your new workplace, so please have no worry in speaking with me or asking any questions.
(Explaining the design decisions for her appearance, should sound a little smug as she goes on) The colour of my hair is that of the morning sky after a light shower. The tone and shape of my voice is taken from the wisest person in the world. Lastly, my face is picturesque of the person who had the most beautiful smile.
(Speaking in her normal tone of voice at the start, but her voice starts to sound more and more intimidating until the final sentence, where she lays down not a suggestion, but an order. She should still sound elegant throughout) Did you hear the news Manager? They say a rodent found its way into the appliance room, in one of our facility’s restricted areas. This could become a serious issue. This is one of the reasons why we emphasize security so much. You would do best to remember that. I will personally deal with the rodent this time. But if you happen to find any rodents, manager, please notify me immediately.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Malkuth is one of the Sephirot that works for the Facility in the upper layer, Asiyah, and is the head of the Control Team. The player meets her on Day 1, after Angela's introduction. Malkuth is cheerful, enthusiastic and somewhat impatient, with a clumsy demeanour. She maintains her positive personality even when discussing concerning topics with X and the other Sephiroth. During work, she always tries to bring out the best of herself, giving her all so as to not disappoint Angela or the Manager, as well explaining the rules in understandable but emphatic terms. Malkuth might also consider herself slow and forgetful, the reason for always having a 'to-do' list with her.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Malkuth Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- Her name is pronounced "Mal-koot", however the "t" shouldn't be overly pronounced. The "h" in her name is silent.
- Malkuth is overall a lively person who speaks with a smile. You should be able to portray her an enthusiastic sense of professionalism, and still maintain a relatively bright tone even during serious and disturbing moments.

(Starting off in a rush) Manager, manager! I arrived just on time, right? The time iiiiiis…only about one minute late. Well, I guess it still counts as “on time!” Congratulations on joining Lobotomy Corporation, manager!
(An employee was knocking on the door, panicking and wanted to leave. This is her talking to the manager about the situation. Her voice should still sound lively, contrasting the situation.) Then please keep this in mind, manager. Once they say they “can’t handle it,'' they are no longer part of my Control Team. The Control Team is on the top of all the Sephirot, just like the central nervous system of a human being. If we go down, it’s only a matter of time until everyone else goes down too! At first, it was hard for me to get used to as well. But I worked really, really hard!
(After a recollection of her past trauma.) Hello manager! ....... It’s sad to not have enough talent, isn’t it? If someone doesn’t look back towards you, what does that mean? That they don’t acknowledge you. That they don’t even care about what expression you may be making. That they feel no need to see what you’re doing, as they’ve already come to a conclusion.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Yesod is one of the Sefirot that works for the Facility in the upper layer, Asiyah, and is the head of the Information Team. The player meets him on Day 7, after unlocking his first expansion of his Department. Yesod's personality is strict, uncaring and logical, but sometimes, he limits himself when he 'overacts'. He examines each situation meticulously and logically, believing that emotions and trust for his employees are unnecessary. Still, he tries to keep casualties minimized through prevention. He has a complex hallucination that causes him to always stay covered up, not revealing much of his skin or body besides his own head. Any type of description of him by other workers, like 'devoid of emotions, cold-blooded...' are taken as compliments by him, because he believes that personally knowing someone or feeling emphatic can make his own employees exploit him.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Yesod Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- His name is pronounced "Yes-ode".
- Yesod is someone who is consistently serious and stern. He, like Angela, enunciates his words clearly and with calm precision.

(Said in a matter-of-fact way, and there’s perhaps even a little disappointment in there.) Manager, you are the head of this corporation. You are supposed to set an example for others, but that outfit would warrant at least 10 penalty points in our department. The manager should be no exception. However, the rules state that a Sephirah has no authority to impose penalty points on the manager, so I must let you off for now.
(Said after the manager disagrees with him. He wants to help those around him more, but in his mind he feels it simply isn't feasible in the environment he’s in.) Do you think it’s realistic for you to show up in every department every single time an accident occurs? You, the man who spends the whole day incessantly watching employees die through that shiny monitor of yours?
(Said after recounting the death of an employee he was friends with. He should sound a bit more vulnerable here compared to his usual cold demeanour.) I envy Angela, she truly is a heartless monster. People say that I am too rational. “Yesod the Cold-blooded Machine”, “Yesod the Viper”, “Yesod the Cruel and Emotionless”. A frigid being who won’t even bat an eye at the deaths of dozens of employees… I won’t deny that I deserve the reputation. However, whoever built this place has to be a much more cruel person than I am.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Hod is one of the Sefirot that works for the Facility in the upper layer, Asiyah, and is the head of the Training Team. Hod seems endlessly helpful and cheerful. She appears to care deeply about her employees, even offering counselling for them to keep them sane. She is somewhat unsure of herself and responds well to validation from others. She wants to be acknowledged as a good Sephirah by her employees and the other Sephirah.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Hod Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- Her name is pronounced "Hode".
- Alongside a friendly demeanour, Hod is generally soft-spoken above all else. You should be able to portray her kindness and her nervousness when shaken.
- english
- female young adult
(A bit unsure of how she should speak to the manager, and maybe a little anxious as well.) Oh, um… Hi… ….. You’re not angry are you…? I’m Hod. I’m in charge of the Training Team. We’re… um… what we do is… You know accidents happen in the company. But Lady Angela said that about half of those accidents could be easily prevented if the employees showed… more initiative.
(Very happy that she was thanked by an employee for a new program she established.) …! Thank you Tiffany! I’m so glad to see you getting better. I heard you’ll be transferring to a different team soon, I hope you do well there. Please make sure to not forget the conversations we had.
(Many employees are complaining about her training program, in addition to her hallucinating voices doubting her. She’s had enough and is having an outburst. She isn’t full-on screaming, just very, very intense.) All of you would be dead by now if I hadn’t helped you! Why aren’t you thanking me? Do you want me to get rid of you like Malkuth does, before you even make the littlest complaint?! Don’t you say that I’m the bad one here!
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Netzach is one of the Sefirot that works for the Facility in the upper layer, Asiyah, and is the head of the Security Team. The player can meet him from Day 12 to 17, depending if the first expansion is unlocked. Netzach strongly dislikes his job at the Corporation. He feels helpless and responsible for the death of his employees. He is pessimistic and has no hope for the future. Netzach slacks on his work while he drinks beer and gets high on Enkephalin to escape from reality. He wishes he would be scrapped or replaced.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Netzach Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- His name is pronounced "Net-zah", with a slightly harsh "h" sound if you can.
- Netzach speaks often in mumbles or whispers, often slurring his words and sounding generally very very tired. However, he does come to acknowledge that he needs to step up a little, so you should be able to convey both of those aspects of him.

(Very lethargic, he does not want to be here.) Man, why did the meeting room have to be so far away… Uh, you already know my name, right? …… Got anything else to say? (The manager says yes.) Could we talk later then? Don’t really wanna be bothered right now.
(He is blitzed out of his mind here, he should sound drunk or high.) Yo, what’s up manager? You look super today. So, you… uh… succeeded with something, huh? Right, far out man. Man, why’s the ground shaking like that? Is it another breach? Lemme guess what you’re thinking. “Netzach’s just a pathetic, he’s not at all like Miss Hardworking Malkuth or Mister Strict Yesod.” I know, I’ve read your mind. I get that a lot from the other Sephirot. But, just think about it for a sec. This place is hell.
(He’s seen what he’s talking about thousands upon thousands of times and is just sick of it all) Aren’t you sick and tired of this? You’ll do something great tomorrow yet again, though it won’t be anything all that “great”, and Miss Angela and the other Sephirot will shower you with compliments. We’ll have another accident in my department, a couple will fall down and die, some will go nuts, and a pile of ‘em will get injuries they’ll never recover from.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Tiphereth A is one of the two of the Sefirot that work for the facility in the middle layer, Briah, and is one of the heads of the Central Command Team. Tiphereth A is blunt and not afraid to speak her mind. She has high expectations for the manager and often criticizes the other Sephirot. She tends to expect bad results. Tiphereth A is deeply attached to Tiphereth B due to their shared background, and he is usually the one she'll listen to or fuss over.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Tiphereth Episodes 1-6 (NOTE: Tiphereth is a little more physically mature here, but in Lobotomy Corporation she takes the form of a young child.)
NOTES:
- Her name is pronounced "Ti-fe-ret", however the "t" shouldn't be overly pronounced. The "h" in her name is silent.
- Tiphereth is snappy and child-like. She is very straightforward with what she says and usually doesn't care if it offends. Still, you should be able to pour your emotions into scenes where she is concerned over the state of Tiphereth B, or when she gets impatient with the Manager or any of the other Sephirot.
- english
- female child
(Talks like she is very full of herself.) Isn’t that fortunate? Seeing as you’ve survived your duties long enough to meet with us, I won’t have to bore the both of us with the basics of things like what Abnormalities are and how to manage them, right? If you turn out to be a disappointment, know that not even your status as the manager will let you get away with it.
(The other Tiphereth needed to be reset, and she’s talking about it here. She is less mean here as she is talking about the other Tiphereth. She should also sound more melancholic near the end.) Ah, are you talking about the machine we just discarded? New errors could pop up if the old one is not completely terminated. And that’d be very troublesome on my end. While “I” am in charge of Central Command, there are two of us at the same time. I always feel like I need more than “two” of me around here. ...
(Very, very upset and is venting out her emotions. A mix of anger and grief I would say.) In fact, Lady Angela doesn’t care about us at all! Whether there’s one Tiphereth or two, whether one just became a moving piece of useless scrap for whatever reason, or if one were overloaded and dumped on top of countless other discarded Tiphereth, left to melt in the storage, she wouldn’t care!
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Tiphereth B is one of the two of the Sefirot that work for the facility in the middle layer, Briah, and is one of the heads of the Central Command Team. Tiphereth B is more soft-spoken and kind compared to his sister, encouraging the manager and the other Sephirot instead of insulting them. He is optimistic and hopes things will get better in the facility. After Tiphereth B starts to show "self-awareness" and question their existence in the facility, he is reset. His self-awareness returns despite this, and a cycle of destroyed copies and resets begins, causing Tiphereth B to lose more and more of his old self.
VOICE REFERENCE: As there is no official voice reference for Tiphereth B, think of any young boy in any show/anime you've seen. That's pretty much it.
NOTES:
- His name is pronounced "Ti-fe-ret", however the "t" shouldn't be overly pronounced. The "h" in his name is silent.
- Tiphereth B is very calm and almost distant, often sounding as if he's got his head in the clouds and is about to drift away. His words should be said genuinely, but they feel empty.

(Polite and pleasant.) … If you’re looking for Tiphereth, she’s still at the Middle Layer meeting. … I’m bad at holding conversations. I kinda miss the managers who were more talkative at times like this.
(Starting to get introspective. As he goes on it feels less like he’s asking the manager the question and more like he’s asking himself.) Hey, there’s something I wanted to ask. Have you noticed that someone’s memory and emotion bleeds and seeps out of us? As you’ve seen, we act angry, feel happy, want things, and look sad, even though we’re machines. We even have our own weaknesses. Why is that? What’s inside of us?
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Gebura is one of the Sephirot that works for the Facility in the middle layer, Briah, and is the head of the Disciplinary Team. Gebura has a tough and serious personality, considered more strict, aggressive or rude to most employees, even the Manager. She enforces the rules of the facility without mercy, having a great disdain against cowards, employees who feel pity, and those who fear death. Along with that, she has the same disposition with Abnormalities, having a desire to make them suffer and never going 'soft' against them, as she knows the true nature of Abnormalities.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Gebura Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- Her name is pronounced "Ge-vu-rah".
- Gebura should have a voice that exudes strength, power and has a lot of presence, but not in an excessively loud manner. You should be able to convey numerous of emotions in spite of this - anger, regret, and even curiosity at times.
- english
- female adult
(Should sound intimidating in a natural and low-key way. When introducing herself, she gives a smile, keep that in mind.) The other departments may kiss your ass while you walk around with an air of arrogance as the manager. But here, that pompous attitude will knot itself into your noose. Well, seeing that you’ve at least made it here, I guess you won’t be a complete deadweight. I’m Gebura, head of Disciplinary.
(Reflecting on the past. Her hatred for Abnormalities should come through on the last two lines.) Most people wouldn't even talk to us, since machines weren't worth putting their minds to. But Christopher and Isabel, they told me I was worthy of something… They looked past my exterior and saw what was inside of me, something I wasn’t even aware of. Those monsters we’re obligated to call Abnormalities have killed many people since then. And yet those things never die.
(Giving a talk to her employees. Project your voice! Should also sound more intimidating than usual. Her voice must hold authority here.) You should not let complacency waver your mind when you confront the monsters. You must arm yourselves with anger and pure anger alone to crush those monstrous bastards. If you object to any of this, I suggest you transfer departments immediately. I won’t squeeze out a tear or mourn over you perishing without even your name being left behind.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Hokma is one of the Sephirah that works for the Facility in the bottom layer, Atziluth, and is the head of the Record Team. The player can meet him from Day 37 to 42, depending if the first expansion is unlocked. Hokma is a collected person with a solemn and prudent personality. He shows a clear knowledge of time and the cycles, as well how time affect lives in many ways. Hokma shows care for A, explaining to him the work of time inside the facility while showing him that he wants to aid him while still trying to reach his goal. He is shown indifferent about the lives of others as he knows the regrets, the suffering and the fear, that inside there, are meaningless.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Hokma Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- His name is pronounced "Hok-ma".
- You should be able to portray Hokma as someone who's essentially seen it all, because he basically has, but still have a sense of dignity and refinement in the way he carries himself.
- english

- male senior
(Like he’s speaking to an old, old friend) Time is like a scythe; it relentlessly attempts to trim, divide, and cleave in twain the clasped-together hands of those you love. Everyone I had loved is now gone, leaving me, a tired old man behind. Please do not blame yourself. Back then were the brightest moments of my life.
(A younger Hokma is speaking here.) Welcome, A. I missed you dearly. I have been waiting for you ever since the very first day I started working here. Do you remember this ocean? You said that this place is where everything, from all rivers and streams, will eventually settle.
(Here he’s failed to convince the Manager not to proceed. The last line should hold determination. He’s trying to stop what he now views as his home from being taken away from him.) You have not changed your decision in the end. It had seemed that tomorrow would come as it always does, but it has not. The hour of silent waiting has long since ended. When I no longer feared the impending night, I chose to love this place. But if you still wish to break this egg at all costs… I shall become its sentinel, and I will reap you.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Binah is one of the Sephirah that works for the Facility in the lower layer, Atziluth, and is the head of the Extraction Team. The player can meet her from Day 37 to 42, depending if the first expansion is unlocked.
Binah has a somber and sadistic personality, showing no empathy with her lack of emotions and seeing herself as someone detached from humanity. She enjoys taunting with a condescending expression, adores pain and suffering as her source of satisfaction, and marks that what she does is only business, but all in a calm and eerie speech. Although she possesses a vast amount of knowledge, Binah often speaks in verbose speeches and metaphors, rarely giving a straight answer.
VOICE REFERENCE: Library of Ruina: Binah Episodes 1-6
NOTES:
- Her name is pronounced "Bee-nah".
- Binah should have a delivery that's dull but not completely devoid of emotion. She takes her time with her words and is deliberate with what she says. You should be able to properly portray her quiet, cruel nature.
- english
- female adult
(Talking in riddles. Should give off an air of mystery.) Don’t ask for my name. “Binah” isn’t the name of a person. It’s a sad name of the place where one finds many graves. I’m the one who draws the water. Why have you come here, and what do you wish for me to draw?
(Talking to her past rival Gebura here. She should sound disappointed in her.) 31 E.G.O damaged, 17 employees dead and counting. And your body needs five or six parts replaced and repaired… It’s not thrilling to look after a machine who behaves like a child in a temper tantrum. However, the Sephirot of the Middle Layer apparently could not keep you on a leash, so here I am.
(She says this with the face she always holds, a blank expression, with eyes like the void. One should feel the room being consumed by the void as she speaks.) I eagerly wait for the moment you fall into despair after realizing that this cycle of pain will never end. I want to see you kneel before the might of destiny, resigning yourself to fate. Go on, slowly; despair and succumb to your fate. Try to resist to the very end, and ultimately break yourself. As the last bits of your resistance melt away. We shall be the subterranean water that quietly flows underneath the earth.
CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Ayin is a person focused more on the result rather than the process itself, willing to sacrifice everything so long as the goal is fulfilled. His behaviour contrasts with Carmen's compassionate and altruistic personality. He has a strong will and the ability to endure the sacrifices and hardships, making him last through the whole path of the project to overcome those difficulties. He is also somewhat persuasive and deceptive, as evidenced by his abilities to convince people into doing things. Ayin will not stop in his efforts to achieve his goals, even if it breaks major regulations. The most notable example is in the creation of Angela, as her existence violates the "AI Ethics Amendment" made by the Head against sentient beings which aren't humans but look human.
VOICE REFERENCE: [ Lobotomy Corporation ] Ayin: Day 50
NOTES:
- His name is pronounced "Ah-yin".
- Ayin has like.. three to four different versions of himself that appear in-game.

(Recalling a memory, should sound regretful.) If another person had been in my place, they may have turned around for the sound of her hasty footsteps. Cogito was something that she couldn’t access at her level of authority. The only task she was ordered to do was record the changes that occurred in the test subjects. … When I finally realized what was going on, half her teeth had fallen out, and…
(Talking as an older version of himself, and also talking TO himself.) I hope this environment satisfies you. I tried my best to recreate our office. You need at least one place in life to feel comfortable, don’t you? However, I speculate you feel that this place is a bit more… serene, than you might remember, so to say. There are many reasons for that.
(A righteous version of him speaking. Speak like you’re a god conveying your message to a mere mortal.) If we can conduct hundreds, no, thousands of good deeds, committing one single sin is acceptable. Helping to shed everyone from their empty skin, can you not see how that is the greatest good of all? People need someone like us. Think about the wave of redemption that will follow.
We are looking for people to edit the story videos as well as occasionally shorter form content that we put out.
