Little shop of horrors the full musical audio drama

Project Overview

Meek flower shop assistant Seymour pines for co-worker Audrey. During a total eclipse, he discovers an unusual plant he names Audrey II, which feeds only on human flesh and blood. The growing plant attracts a great deal of business for the previously struggling store. After Seymour feeds Audrey's boyfriend, Orin, to the plant after Orin's accidental death, he must come up with more bodies for the increasingly bloodthirsty plant.

So! This is my 4th attempt at making an audio drama musical of Little Shop.

I've been wanting to do a Little shop of horrors musical audio drama for MANY years.

The script is already done and ready to go. 

But the most difficult part was casting. That’s where you guys will come in. 

Now, since Little Shop of Horrors is a musical, I will provide Vocal guides and instrumentals in a Google Drive link in the casting call club's description.


I will be using instrumentals from the 2003 soundtrack. 

And txt files of the song's lyrics will also be included.

Now before I explain my conditions for submitting auditions. 

Just some quick things.


A. The roles for Seymour Krelborn and Audrey 2 are taken!

I will be playing and singing as Seymour Krelborn and RoshiVA will be performing as Audrey 2.


B. The script that’s written is not gonna be a full re-creation from the movie. It’s gonna be a full re-creation from the play with a few extra dialogues and the play-exclusive songs are gonna be added.

Examples are, Ya never know, Now/It’s just the gas, and closed for renovation.


C. This is going to be an unpaid project. This audio drama is not going to be made for money. I’m doing this because Little Shop of Horrors is my all-time favorite musical. And I’ve wanted to do it completely for fun. 


Now onto my conditions for auditions.


A. You must have a decent microphone with minimum background noise.

Make sure the audio quality is very clean.


B. Please don’t replicate the voices from the movie. Make them your own and get creative with them. 


C. If somehow you’re not confident that your singing is good. Autotune is okay to use.

But if for any reason you don’t want to sing but still want to play as the character. I’ll open an extra role for singing versions of that said character. 

However, other character roles don’t require singing.

For example, the first customer that enters the shop, Patrick Martin, the WSKID Radio show host, even the narrator for the opening song.

D. If you are singing that character, please make sure you include the instrumental in your singing audition.

You don't need to sing all songs to audition, you can just choose one song for that specific character. (Again, it will be in the Google Drive link in the casting call club)


E. You can choose to submit auditions using the casting call club. Or you can email me at [redacted]

  • RoshiVA's Passing....

    We just got word that RoshiVA, the voice of Audrey 2, and Mr. Mushnick... Passed away yesterday due to pneumonia...and heart problems.... This is VERY sad news...he was a GREAT VA...I (HAZAH) voiced the newscaster in his audio drama "The Golden Tickets: After the Factory." It was a very fun project... And throughout 2025, he wanted Little Shop of Horrors Audio Drama to happen. It breaks all of our hearts...To honor him, I'm going to try to finish the Little Shop of Horrors audio drama like he wanted. Help is still needed if possible. But for now. casing call club page is still open. I might extend the deadline. Rest in Peace, Roshi....and we're all gonna miss you...

He appears near the very end of the play wanting to cut pieces of Audrey 2 and re-plant them to sell to flower shops.

  • We take leaf cuttings, develop little Audrey Twos, and sell them to florists across the nation. Pretty soon, every household in America will have one.

  • I've got a truck waiting outside and some pots. If you don't mind, we'll start taking cuttings right now. Imagine boy, Audrey Twos everywhere. Why, with the right advertising, this could be bigger than hula hoops

  • Okay girls. All you got to do is cut off the smaller leaf's and re-plant them in these pots, the trucks just waiting outside.
