GRRRRRRRR wow, much fierce, such scare
Charles is the Office Manager for Young Technologies and one of the major characters. Born in Wales, he was once married before, only for his wife to have an affair. He is an accomplished Fencer and still teaches Fencing on the side. He serves as Sam's boss at work often giving her small tedious jobs. Sam eventually stands up to him when he threatens to fire one of her friends. He reveals that he has been pushing Sam as she will one day be the CEO of Young Technologies. He finally starts opening up to Sam, revealing he does have a soft spot for her and her struggles. He eventually convinces Sam's Father to make Sam Charles's assistant, under the pretense of training her to be better future CEO. Really he wishes to help Sam fulfill her ambitions to be a game Designer. He is revealed to know Marshall, though he knows him as "Ben".
I am expecting to have a "princely" Sort of voice, smooth, but not extremely posh, maybe perhaps a tint of welsh
"lying" is a strong word.... Think of it as a 'well-intentioned untruth"

Link is Sam's friend who works at The Daily Grind. He is quite active and enjoys the outdoors, a love he shared with his late father. While his father was dying in the hospital he met Sam for the first time and they became friends. Sam helped him through the grief process of losing his father, and he has grown quite fond of Sam. He tries unsuccessfully at first to ask her out on a date, but Sam agrees when he friends point out that Link wanted her to go on a date with him. He grows quite protective of Sam and is also a little hostile towards Marshall. When Marshall falls ill and Sam calls him for help he reluctantly comes but Sam is confused with his hostility towards Marshall. Link realizes he has made a mistake and realizes Marshall feels genuinely sorry. He puts a pause on wanting to pursue a romantic relationship with Sam, recognizing her anxiety about the idea of dating.

Angela is one of Sam's best friends and Vikki's roommate, she is another member of their guild, playing the role of a Tank. She has a vitriolic relationship with Dallas who often comments on her body and her attractiveness. She has anger issues stemming a traumatic experience where she was beaten severely, which is also the reason she has not dated in a while. She developed an interest in Link at first, but backed off after noticing Link's crush on Sam. She still has feelings for Link, but knows he still cares for Sam and encourages him to pursue her.

Olivia has a very upper-class, yet child-like appearance. She has short blonde hair, along with jade green eyes.
I imagine her having a posh obnoxious voice.

And it is possible for this genre to follow the same tropes in an anime
Though I'm sure the creator would love for this an anime some day
