Lead Needed For Fallout Mod!
Project Overview
Howdy!
I am in the process of creating a large-scale companion mod for Fallout: New Vegas. The companion, however, lacks a voice. So I have come here in hopes of a remedy. The companion is named "O'Mally". And he's a ghoul with a bad attitude and a chip on his shoulder.
The recording circumstances are...unique for this particular character. See, the modding tool (The GECK) I use has a built-in recorder, so mp4 files can go directly into the game. Of course, you need a copy of the game and the modding tool (the tool is included with the game on Steam). If you do not own the game then don't worry, I have an account that has both installed that you can use for the recording period. Using the in-tool recorder shaves a good amount of time for both the modder and voice actor, making it a very effective way of implementing dialog. It's also worth mentioning O'Mally has a fair amount of dialog that needs done, about 294 to be exact.
If you get the part I will contact you with further information out how recording in the GECK works, and how you can get the recordings back to me.
This does raise one problem, the mouse clicking. When recording make sure the mic does not pick up the sound of the mouse clicking. I usually do this by simply putting my mouse under my desk and use a book or something as a mouse pad, but if you want you can do something else.

O"mally is a ghoul with a bad attitude and a chip on his shoulder. Ghouls often have very raspy voices, but I don't want O'Mally's voice to be too raspy. I would like it if you do the lines in varrying rasp, so we can figure out a good rasp level.
