Labyrinth's End (Indie Video Game)
Project Overview
(To everyone who submitted but didn't get chosen, please look at the "Lost Explorer" role and submit a new audition, I will need several VAs for that. Thank you all so much, every submission means the world to me, seriously.
Labyrinth's End is an indie game being developed by myself. It is about a young plague doctor who is trying to cure his child from an unspeakable sickness.

A young VERY sick child serves as the protagonists son or daughter. Very weak voice from being sick, but innocent.

"Daddy, I really wish we could go play outside.."
"I miss mommy. Will she come back?"
"I don't feel well daddy, everything hurts, I just want to sleep"
Elderly man who serves as a consult to the plague doctor. The original voice I had in mind was John Hurt or Richard Wilson. The role doesn't have to be a British accent though.

Some sicknesses just can't be cured.
Sigh* If there's no changing your mind...I may know of one way, but it's practically suicide.
The Labyrinth's End. There's a rumor for the cure deep within the labyrinth, but, no one ever returns.
Looking for a gruffy overweight shopkeeper for this role. He's a sleezy character and only cares about the coin. Feel free to do your own spin on things.

What'll it be?
A sought after item that is
Pleasure doin business with yas
A deranged, weary wanderer trapped in the labyrinth. Their voice carries exhaustion, fear, and the madness of someone who has spent far too long lost in the dark. Their tone shifts unpredictably—sometimes eerily calm, sometimes frantic, sometimes lost in thought.

“I went left. Then right. Then… I went left again. Didn’t I? No, no, I’m sure of it. Left, then right. Or was it right, then left? The walls move when you’re not looking, you know. That’s why I’m still here. That’s why we’re all still here. Here. Take this. Maybe it’ll help you. Maybe it won’t. Maybe… I already gave it to you.”
“Did you hear that? That scraping? The soft footsteps just behind you? No, no, don’t turn around. That’s how it sees you. It only moves when you’re not looking. The walls, too. They whisper when you stop listening. They know your name, you know. They’ve been saying it over and over. Here. Take this. If you drop it, it means they took your hands.”
“You want the cure? You’ll have to lose something first. Like I did. The labyrinth takes its toll. An eye for a glimpse of the truth. A hand for the chance to touch salvation. A name for the hope of escaping. The cure is real. But you won’t be you once you find it. Take this. A trade. A gift. A warning.”
