Project Overview

Hello hello, and welcome to KillingHarmonyDubs' casting call! We're a group that is currently hoping to be making fandubs for comics, official V3 gameplay and other gameplay. We're glad that you could take interest in this project! My name's Skye and I'm the lead admin of this project - my loyal side admin is Zatch: you'll get your chance to meet him if you join the discord server listed below, if you haven't already.

Some basic things we should get out of the way before you audition:

What is the project in general?
We're here to deliver multiple projects through YouTube in hopes of bringing entertainment to others.

How should I send in my audition?
We would appreciate that your files are in .wav format. Anything else, however, will still be taken into account - .wav files are just much simpler for me to get a hold of than other file formats.

Can I audition for multiple characters?
Who said you couldn't? Though, only one person will be cast per role, so don't expect to be voicing multiple characters.

Are there any requirements for this project?


  1. 1 - Mic Quality: We want a clear voice and no background noise at the most. Other issues can be taken care of through retakes.
    2 - Discord: Discord is going to be our main way of communicating for this project. If you have been cast for a role, we will need to know your discord so we can add you and invite you to the server. Link: https://discord.gg/Vgs7M7z
    3 - Believable Emotion: Without expressible emotion the audition won't stand out among the others. Make sure you're able to incorporate a sense of true emotion into your voice when you speak!
    4 - Have Fun: There's no point in trying out if you don't enjoy what you're doing! Enter the auditioning grounds with an excited smile and don't be afraid to meet your fellow voice actors along the way.

You stated that there will be projects including the following: comic dubs, official gameplay and other gameplay, could you explain to me?
I can explain!

  • - Comic dubs are what you'd expect: drawn comics that have added voices to create a simple, short video.


  • - Official V3 gameplay is self explanatory: if we get the chance to dub the official game then we will take the opportunity if the chosen voice actors agree to it.
    - Other gameplay is geting voice actors to play other games (Overwatch, League Of Legends, Cards Against Humanity, ect.) in character. It's only a consideration, but if people are up to it then we'll make it happen!



Will I receive feedback for my auditions?
If requested in the comments, we'll give you feedback, constructive or not.

Anything else that I should know about?
  1. - We're a friendly group of people that welcome in everyone with open arms!
    - We'd appreciate if you put your name and discord tag in the comments with at least one of your auditions so we can add you as soon as possible if you're cast for a role.

  • One Less Admin + Sudden Casting?

    Due to some unfortunate events that will remain hidden to the public, Admin Amzer has stepped back from being an admin for the group and is no longer working with us directly. He still has his chances of getting cast, but he is no longer managing the project with me and Zatch. While you're here, I can now state that there is a possibility casting will be done earlier than November 11th, as the amounts of auditions we're receiving has decreased drastically and we have quite the amount of auditions for each character anyways.   • Updates!

    We're amazed by the tremendous amount of auditions this project has received in the short amount of time its been up! It makes us admins extremely happy to see that people are happy to take interest in our project. Now, onto the updates! 1 - We're seeing a lack of auditions for the following characters: - Kaede - Iruma - Tenko - Hoshi - Monokuma - All Monokubs It would be nice if we could get a few more auditions in for those specific characters, though all auditions are still welcome! 2 - The deadline has been pushed back two weeks in order to make more room for incoming auditions, and it'll give us more time to spread the project out to other people that may be unaware of this casting call.   • News Regarding Feedback

    I'm sorry that some people aren't receiving feedback as quickly as others! Everyone's asking for feedback on multiple of their auditions so after a while it gets a little tiring, but I'll do my best to get to everyone as soon as possible!

Kaede is described as an optimistic and hard working girl. She tends to take the lead role in many situations and never hesitates when taking action. Her trust and belief towards others is extremely strong, along with thinking about others before thinking of herself. The pianist takes other people's worries and problems into her hands and does her best to encourage her peers with positive advice, and at times she can include piano talk due to her being a pianoholic. There are other times where she can act oblivious and silly, but putting that aside her character is very firm.

Kaede's voice is on the mature side, slightly lower than the mid tone. However, becoming higher pitched when shocked and/or scared will also be needed.

  • "My name is Kaede Akamatsu. I just remembered who I am. Nice to meet... me. I'm the protagonist of this crazy story." (Rather confused and fazed)

  • "I have a skill I devote myself to... but I wouldn't call it an Ultimate talent..." (Unsure and somewhat hesitated)

  • "Whoever trapped us here wants us to fight each other... So let's show 'em that we're not gonna let that happen! We're not gonna fight each other! We're gonna work together! Okay?!" (Fired up and encouraging)

Rantaro Amami

Though he can come off as mysterious at first glance, Rantaro is a very relaxed and laid back person and can be considered an ordinary student among the others. Though not being able to remember his talent, he's looking forward to finding out what it is rather than worrying about it. He normally gives off a rather calm vibe and seems to be someone reliable. People state that he resembles a 'playboy' by looks, and Rantaro himself is aware of this, but he normally waves the accusations off and claims he's just friendly and chill towards others.

Rantaro's voice is more on the deeper side, but at the same time it holds a sense of calmness a little dash of a soothing tone.

  • "My name is Rantaro Amami. I can't remember my Ultimate talent at the moment... but I promise I'm not a bad guy. Nice to meet you." (Calm and relaxed)

  • "Alright, chill out, no need to panic... we're probably not in any danger. If they wanted to kill us, they'd have done it by now." (Reassuring, possibly unsure)

  • "I was just thinking, what you said back there would've pissed off whoever's running this. They definitely don't want us holding hands, working together... They're going to come for you, Kaede. With everything they've got. I'm a little worried about you. You're just so... straightforward." (Cautious and worried)

A sharp tongued and overly confident girl, Miu stands out as the loud and boastful inventor that loves to portray herself as a genius to the other students. She's constantly insulting people that come up and talk to her, as well as giving them insulting nicknames and looking down at others as if they're nothing but scum to her. However, that personality of hers quickly dies out when someone makes a remark back to her vulgar insults, which makes her become extremely defensive of herself. All in all, she's a two sided girl that can be difficult to control.

Miu's voice is a bit higher than mid tone, and with her energy a slight boastful tone needs to be incorporated into it.

  • "I'm the gorgeous girl genius whose good looks and golden brain will go down in history! I'm the one, the only, the legendary Ultimate Inventor herself - Miu Iruma!" (Confident and boastful)

  • "Wh-What the hell... are you gettin' pissed off at me for?" (Defensive of herself, timid)

  • "No duh, ya fuckin' fraud! Go find another car to run you over! And this time, stay dead!" (Angered and harsh)

Kokichi Oma

Kokichi tends to claim that he's an evil supreme leader, and constantly tells people that what he's saying are lies, so it's very hard to trust what he says. He's manipulative at times and can also be mischievous and act like a trickster. Being extremely straightforward with his evil and lying nature, his innocent appearance doesn't add up with his personality. He likes to prank and tease others, but such teasing and pranking is normally done in a mean-spirited way.

Kokichi's voice is a slightly higher and playful voice. It's also a little bit nasally.

  • "I'm Kokichi Oma, the Ultimate Supreme Leader!" (Playful and cocky)

  • "You know what really hurts? Being denied the right to give up an impossible situation... you won't let us give up and no matter what we say, you have the moral high ground... when you say we can't give up, you're not inspiring us - you're strong-arming us!" (Fearful at first, angered later on)

  • "N-No way... are we really gonna die? I don't wanna die yet... I'm gonna survive! I'm gonna make it no matter what!" (Once again fearful at first, confident later on)

Keebo is a polite and serious teenage robot, who can have trouble interacting with other students as he does not fully understand most situations. Because of this disadvantage, he can take jokes seriously and accidentally kill the mood without meaning to do so. He's very aware of robophobic remarks and becomes offended when someone makes a discriminatory remark towards him for being a robot. Putting aside his sudden anger towards offensive statements, Keebo is a well-mannered and kind robot.

Kiibo's voice is on the mid tones, with a mature feel to it. It's smooth and affirmative.

  • "I'm not just any old robot! I am K1-B0, the Ultimate Robot! But please, address me as Keebo!" (Confident and straightforward)

  • "D-Don't mock me! I have studied the complete history of stand-up comedy!" (Possibly offended, proving his point)

  • "Are you another robophobe? I have a recording function. If you make any robophobic remarks, I will see you in court." (Suspicious and somewhat threatening)

Gonta is a 'gentle giant' - he's kind-hearted and polite, but also quite naive to some things. He is apparently aware that he is dumb, which is why he tends to listen and follow along with others. Despite his kind nature, he's easily angered whenever someone mentions that they hate bugs, since he believes that people who don't like bugs are bad people. His main goal is to become a true gentleman in order to repay the family he grew up with in the woods, which just happens to be a pack of wolves, which is why his speech is somewhat broken.

Gonta's voice is a caring, mid toned voice that would surprise one for the first time after looking at him.

  • "Ummm... Gonta's name is Gonta Gokuhara. Gonta's talent is Ultimate Entomologist. Gonta want to become gentleman! Becoming true gentleman Gonta's goal!" (Cheerful and caring)

  • "Gonta wanna help everyone. Gentleman never back down, and neither will Gonta!" (Protective and confident)

  • "Gonta not good at tough subjects... but Gonta will work hard for everyone's sake!" (Disappointed at first, confident after)

Shuichi Saihara

As someone who puts themselves down a lot and normally comes off as weak and shy, Shuichi is a boy who doesn't have much confidence in himself and claims he isn't accomplished enough to be referred to as the Ultimate Detective. Putting his timid personality aside, he's also calm and serious about many situations, and is also a polite teenage boy. At times he can call others out for their behavior when he's gained a stronger attitude, but other than that he mostly stands out for his submissive and shy personality.

Shuichi's voice can either be higher pitched if you're aiming for a resemblance of the Japanese voice, or a mid tone voice if your preferences are aimed for the English voice. Both voices need their soft tone - Shuichi normally doesn't speak so loud.

  • "I'm... Shuichi Saihara. They call me the Ultimate Detective, but..." (Shy and quiet)

  • "I don't have the credentials to call myself a detective yet. I just... happened to solve a case I came across and... now people call me that." (Unsure of his talent, still shy)

As someone who believes they're 'plain' among the other students, Tsumugi is a girl who is aware that some people might not pick her out as the Ultimate Cosplayer by looks only. She tends to ignore others and stay lost in thought, even though those that try talking to her attempt multiple times. The majority of the time she speaks in a docile way, though becomes extremely passionate when talking about cosplay and anime series she loves. She admits that she has a habit of slipping in anime references and quotes into her speech, which is normally not controlled.

Tsumugi's voice can either be mid toned or higher pitched, but keep in mind that the higher pitched voice should sound as if it's smoothed out.

  • "Oh, my name is Tsumugi Shirogane. I'm the Ultimate Cosplayer. Are you... surprised? I get that a lot, since I'm so plain." (Friendly at first, questioning after)

  • "It makes me happy when I get to show people the outfits I've made. And thanks to my sponsors, I can use materials that are just plain expensive." (More cheerful and calm than normal)

  • "I... sorry, I can't react to this... I'm in too much shock. Does this mean... the killing game is going to continue?" (Fearful and worried)

Korekiyo Shinguji

Korekiyo is one that comes off as creepy due to his looks and how he speaks when talking about humanity, but he's mostly a cool-headed and intelligent individual. Because of past experiences with many different human beings he is able to remain cool and composed about confinement circumstances and normally approaches subjects and situations with a more logical and rational manner. He has a somewhat abnormal liking towards the human race and claims that 'humans are beautiful'.

Korekiyo's voice is a slightly higher pitched voice with an easily identifiable creep factor.

  • "You wonder, "Who is this?" Yes... I shall make that clear first. My name is Korekiyo Shinguji. I am called the Ultimate Anthropologist." ('Off' yet informative)

  • "I believe... that human beings are creatures who possess infinite beauty. Kehe... kehehehe... people are wonderful..." (Creepy and admirable of the human race)

  • "We are as guinea pigs upon a lab table... we cannot be picky about our means of survival." (Said as a warning)

Tenko is a very cheerful and energetic individual, normally speaking in a loud voice to show off her fighting spirit. Even though she's only a practitioner, she can become aggressive and resorts to violence in times where she can feel like she's in danger. She takes a lot of pride in inventing Neo Aikido and tends to threaten guys with her techniques, claiming that its very dangerous. She is shown to have a strong hatred towards males, thinking that they're more likely to do terrible things and normally acts rude towards any male even if the male is attempting to be as nice as possible towards her.

Tenko's voice is a loud, mid toned voice with a hint of playfulness. The louder, the better, but try to also keep the volume as limited as possible.

  • "Oh, yes! I'm Tenko Chabashira! HAIYAH! The Ultimate Aikido Master!" (Energetic and somewhat alert)

  • "C-Cute!? Aaaahhh... St-Stop it... I... I-I'm not cute... my face crinkles when I suck down a shake... and when I wipe my face, my eyelines turn inside-out." (Embarrassed and flustered)

  • "I don't like to be praised by degenerate males." (Rude and somewhat insulting of males)

Kirumi's nature is refined and mature, having a keen mindset and talent in a large handful of subjects. Described as one who 'does their job perfectly in a professional way', every task she carries out is done just as she is asked to do so. She's extremely polite and states that her only desire is to fulfill other people's wishes and requests, obviously putting others before her own self. She voluntarily makes breakfast and cleans the students' dorm rooms without being asked for, since her duty is instinct to her. To sum it up, she's the 'mom' character of the group.

Kirumi has an elegant and composed voice that's just underneath the mid tones.

  • "I am Kirumi Tojo, the Ultimate Maid. Please let me know if you require my service." (Calm and offering)

  • "Please, you are exaggerating... I will not complete any request that is asked of me. I once received a request to annihilate a rival nation, but as it was impossible, I rejected it." (Informative and composed)

  • "I hold no opinions or desires of which to speak. As a maid, my only desire is to fulfill the desires of others. So please, think about what you desire for yourself, and what you desire from me. No matter the situation, no matter what happens, I am here to server everyone." (Once again offering, perhaps a little insistent)

Maki Harukawa

Maki is a girl who seems to have a serious personality, not saying much and sometimes acting rather cold hearted towards others. She doesn't seem to smile that much and isn't the friendliest to approach. Being aware that she's unfriendly and one who prefers to be alone, she doesn't come off as one who takes care of kids. She dislikes other people in general and doesn't cooperate very well, though since it's in her caring nature she may care for others - specifically kids. Over time she will become friendlier.

Maki's voice belongs in the lower tones with a sharp and cold sound to it. Due to not showing much emotion, pitches aren't changed that often.

  • "Maki Harukawa... Ultimate Child Caregiver... surprised? I don't look like someone who'd like kids, do I? Well you'd be right. I don't like kids all that much." (Rather reserved and calm)

  • "Kids are... weird. They come to me on their own. I'm not that good at taking care of them... I'm not that friendly, either..." (Unsure and possibly questionable)

  • "I knew this was impossible from the start." (Slightly angered and annoyed)

Ryoma Hoshi

As someone who states that they're nothing more but an empty husk of their former self, Ryoma has a sense of coolness built into his character due to past experiences that have been compared to put an adult to shame. He's the calmest and most composed character within the cast of students. His younger self was one that loved animals so dearly, and still holds that even after his change. Though he may not come off as aggressive at first glance, the tennis player will resort to harming people if he feels it is necessary and that the presumed victim deserves it.

Ryoma's voice is a surprisingly low voice that can sound like a growl at times. A hint of a rasp can be an excellent touch, though it's also optional.

  • "Ryoma Hoshi, the man called the Ultimate Tennis Pro... no longer exists. I'm nothing more than his empty shell." (Reluctant and grim)

  • "I didn't need a future anymore... no... it's nothing. It's not like me to talk so much. Anyway... I'm warning you. It's dangerous to walk up to a killer like me." (Slightly saddened and cautious)

  • "You won't be able to prove anything with weak reasoning like that." (Possibly aggressive, perhaps said as a warning)

A teenage boy with tons of passion stored within himself and quite energetic, Kaito is one who tends to give others speeches - which end up turning somewhat dramatic - in order to encourage them. He is described to live for dreams and romance and claims you need to take risks to reach your dreams, and talks about always wanting to go to space. Due to his nature of telling others that he's the protagonist of his own story, the astronaut is set on helping the others survive the killing game and tries his best to unite the group together, giving off a 'big brother' vibe and character.

Kaito's voice is a loud and mid toned voice, with a slight growl to it, if that makes sense.

  • "i'm Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars! Even crying children adore the Ultimate Astronaut! How about it!? I'm an astronaut! Isn't that cool!?" (Energetic and rather boastful)

  • "I had a friend who was crafty... so I had him forge some stuff for me. I ended up getting caught. I was in pretty deep shit! But the people up top let me in, since I did so well on the exam." (Somewhat shameless, somewhat prideful)

  • "Sometimes you gotta be a little reckless to make your dreams reality!" (Confident, maybe attempting to convince others)

Himiko Yumeno

Himiko is a girl who sticks out for her laziness, calling simple tasks tiresome and being uninterested in the majority of topics, excluding magic, of course. She prefers being called a mage instead of being called a magician and gets annoyed when people tell her that magic isn't real, proceeding to convince others that magic is real until they finally agree with her. Stating that she gets worn out talking to people and spacing out quite often, social interaction is something the magician has trouble with, one of those struggles being her communication with feelings as she tends to hold emotion back.

Himiko's voice is high pitched and childish, though she must also sound lazy.

  • "Prepare to be amazed, fall to your knees. I am Himiko Yumeno, the Ultimate Mage. But... I'm officially called the Ultimate Magician." (Showcase-y and tired)

  • "I can choose the card you picked, pull out coins, and release doves. Nyeh... if I get serious, I can even saw someone in half." (Perhaps mystical, still tired)

  • "Nyeh... So Kokichi's talent and Kiyo's face are both suspicious? I could strip 'em both butt naked with my magic... but my MP's low right now." (Attempting to be threatening, sounds cute instead)

A very spiritual and cheerful girl, Angie is never seen to be sad in any way or form. Having an extremely strong faith for her god, Atua, she normally mentions Him and praises Him. Sometimes she's so cheerful that in some situations she can be considered the oddball out, since her overjoyed state contradicts the murderous mood. She has eccentric habits like talking about her god and freely using her own made up words, making her stand out even more than she already did. Occasionally she'll ask for blood sacrifices in her cheerful state, though she comes off as creepy as well whenever she asks for such sacrifices.

Angie's voice is a high pitched voice with a slight accent,  somewhat sounding as if it's floating,

  • "Yah-hah! How are ya? My name is Angie Yonaga! I'm the Ultimate Artist!" (Cheerful and friendly)

  • "I draw drawings and I sculpt sculptures. But Atua's the one who makes the art. I merely offer my body as His vessel. Nyahahaha! How divine!" (Somewhat informative, still cheerful)

  • "Thank you Atua for being here with us today!" (Thankful, possibly relieved)

The mascot of the series, Monokuma is the classic innocent looking animatronic bear who holds the killing game power in his hands. He is known to quickly reveal his intent in starting and keeping a killing game going, with his sinister and familiar 'upupu' to accompany his character. He tends to act sarcastic and childish, and can mock other students for whatever reason he chooses. His arrogance and impatience add up to his character.

Monokuma's voice is a range from mid tones to higher tones with a childish background.

  • "I am the god of this new world... and the headmaster of this Ultimate Adacemy! The one, the only... Monokuma! Nice to meetcha." (Strangely excited, perhaps showing off)

  • "My cute little cubs! You're all so freakin' cute! The only reason I can tolerate your tiresome antics is cuz you're all cute." (Praising, yet a little harsh)

The leader of the Monokubs, Monotaro does his best to try and unite the group of smaller animatronic bears - this plan normally gets thrown into the trash due to him being easily distracted and his inability to keep his siblings controlled. His clumsy part of his character gives him a childish charm, and even though he's not the smartest, he's considered the most reliable out of the five Monokubs.

The loudest and possibly most foul-mouthed out of the Monokubs, Monokid is portrayed as the bully of the group. He's the least intelligent and can occasionally spit out nonsense, and loves to say 'hell yeah' whenever he gets the chance due to it being his catchphrase. Being the most violent out of his siblings, he tends to bully his brother Monodam, though can also cower in fear and panic at times.

Monokid's voice is a loud, lower toned voice that tends to sound as if it's booming.

  • "I'm pissed! I gotta cool off by beatin' the shit out of Monodam!" (Angered and threatening)

  • "Hell yeah! We'd have to rip and tear into your huge guts just to make it entertaining!" (Loud and excited)

The gentle, feminine sibling of the Monokubs, Monophanie is the kinder and cuter bear compared to her brothers. She tends to solve violent situations, specifically the killing game, with a rock-paper-scissors tournament, and her gentler perks happen to be liking flowers and suddenly falling asleep. Though she comes off as sweet, she's also got a vulgar side and doesn't like being underestimated for her feminine personality.

Monophanie's voice is higher pitched than her brothers' voices.

  • "it's rude to scream at the sight of cute little bears like us." (Scolding, yet soft)

  • "Are you sure it's okay to give them a hint so soon..? It's like rewarding a baby with milk when it's been up all night crying!" (Confused and questioning)

Appearing as the most intelligent of the Monokubs, Monosuke is the bear that is obsessed with money and success. He's not the most emotional, yet enjoys gore and murder in a calmer fashion than others. He often acts much calmer than his siblings and analyzes the majority of the situations he finds himself in. Despite his higher intelligence, he can sometimes act like show-off, leading to him accidentally slipping up.

Monosuke's voice is around the mid tones, with a very faint rasp.

  • "No shit, Sherlock! I mean look at us. We're clearly his flesh-and-blood cubs." (Matter-of-factly, annoyed)

The quietest of the Monokubs, Monodam is the shy bear of the group, and whenever he speaks its normally done in a robotic and monotone voice. He barely speaks, even to his siblings, due to past events where he has been both physically and verbally abused by Monokid. All of these traits may cause him to appear as creepy and unsettling, but for the most part he's closed himself off from others.

Monodam's voice is just about monotoned, with very little changes in pitch.

  • "THANK-YOU-FATHER. BUT-THE-ACADEMY-IS-UNDER-OUR-HARMONIOUS-CONTROL-NOW." (Monotone and possibly a little aggressive)

  • "THANKS-FOR-BEARING-WITH-US." (Monotone once again, a little thankful)
