Project Overview
Hello, and thanks for checking out our very first project! This project is going to be long term, but for now, I want to cast our Hisao and Iwanako to do the prologue.
If you wish to play the role of Hisao, know that this project is going to take 2-4 months. BE COMMITTED!!!
So, the project here is a Katawa Shoujo Visual Novel Dub (If you couldn't read the title :D) This project, in particular, is just the prologue, so we will only be casting two roles and doing a small 3-5 minute scene. We do plan on doing a whole arc of the game very shortly, but first, we want to get our feet wet and start small.
First, a few small requirements. (Mostly for the character of Hisao)
1. Be committed! Don't audition if you don't think you'll have enough time for this project. Katawa Shoujo is told from a first-person perspective, so the voice of Hisao will be in every scene.
2. Have Discord! Having discord would make communication a whole lot easier and make everyone's job a little less hard. We plan on doing live sessions with the actors, so having discord could make the live recording sessions a whole better for everyone! No Discord, no role. Come on though it's 2020 you should have discord at least D:
3. Lastly, be willing to do live recordings! Remember when I said live recordings? Yeah, if you can't do that, don't audition.
Sorry, the introduction is short, but I promise the future casting call will explain a whole lot more.

Hisao Nakai is an 18-year old that now diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia. Hisao is now forced to attend the school Yamuko Academy which is a school for the physically disabled.
For the most part, Hisao is a very kind-hearted person, not strong-willed but not weak either.
For this voice, I would like a Medium-low type of sound. Like the type of guy you see and think, "He's cool," I want that if that makes sense. :D.
This isn't an opportunity, don't call it an opportunity. Don't call it a goddamned opportunity.
A special school. That's... An insult. That is what I want to say. It's a step-down.
Not so loud...Please?
Iwanako plays a big yet small role in the series. The character itself starts the game and is the main reason Hisao knows about his heart condition. The acting part, however, is a very small role that will only appear in the beginning and midway through the series.
Even though you will play a small role in the dub, hopefully, you are willing to audition and maybe in the future, you'll get a bigger role with us.
For this role, I want a softly medium-high voice.
Hisao...you came.
I am really sorry for not being able to support you when it mattered the most, even though I like you so much.
If I could go back to those quiet days in February and March, I'd tell you not to give up on yourself. That's what I would say. Maybe you wouldn't have drifted so far away if I had just said something.
