Hello! This will be my third Abridged Project with this one tackling the Chinchiro Arc of Kaiji. The Script is done and will be messaged to you through discord. We will be doing live direction for this in order to get just the right performance for each line so a discord is necessary. Please submit your lines in AAABBBCCC format and while this is not a NSFW production I ask for adults only to audition

Kaiji is a 20 year old pathetic gambling addict . You need to capture a feel of an incredibly depressed loser woefully out of his depth in any situation that isn't gambling focused, while still maintaining that desperate underdog likeability. I'm specifically not looking for a performance like the Kaiji dub as I do not like the direction of Kaiji in it. They made Kaiji sound cool and while he has his cool moments that you will need to pull off, he should not sound cool or gruff as a baseline.
We're slaves. If we wanna get out of here we have to. Doesn't matter if all my other friends either betrayed me or died horribly because of my decisions. God I need therapy.
Hate. Let me tell you how much I’ve come to hate gambling since I First placed a bet. I’ve Smoked countless cigarettes in my life, and if the word hate was engraved on each molecule of tobacco on those thousands of cigarettes it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for gambling at this micro-instant. Otsuki is that boss who is sickeningly sweet while making you work overtime without the overtime pay, because your not coworkers, your family. He needs to have a melodic above it all voice that is just immediately hateable without overstepping to far into being annoying
Kaiji, you must be so tired from work if you ever need anything come to me, we aren't co-workers we're family (Play this as faux sincere as possible)
Kaiji, you and your band of merry debtors have been living like monks for months. You should treat yourself, have a beer on the house. (Your trying to break this man, get him to give into his urges and drink. You want him to fail and your trying to catch the fly with honey)
Wait Kaiji is pulling some big plan isn't he, all that money they saved up bet together in one big pile, No…He couldn't have figured out that I'm cheating?! (a slow descent into panic)
