Kaguya-sama: Love is War Manga Fandub - Chapter 24
Project Overview
Hello, @everyone.... SMILEY FAAAAAAACE.
As you guys can tell, this project is a simple fandub of the Kaguya-Sama: Love is War manga, specifically chapter 24. Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is a manga series, based around the idea of two people who clearly do like each other, just playing mind games the entire time to see who would confess first. However this very chapter barely has any of that, instead focusing one the amazing dude that is Yu Ishigami.
Although, yes, there are a massive amount of chapters before and after this one, I wanted to start off with Chapter 24 because... Its the introduction of my favorite anime dude ever. Yu know, Ishigami? He is the best. And I wanted to try my hand at doing a dub for him, just to see how it would turn out (not to mention, actually practicing audio and video editing).
And besides that, I wanted to see other people's interpretations of people like Miyuki and Kaguya... And even the amazingly, over the top narrator who just makes everything better.
Do keep in mind, this project is entirely non-profit and merely meant for fun. So there will be no pay... Sorry.
Just a few requirements before I leave you:
1. If you have been confirmed for a role, please send me your Discord. This is to ensure communication between cast members, and to make it where we could record together, if possible.
2. Please record your own lines with your own recording software. Which I think goes without saying. But yeah.
3. Although I don't have any expectations when it comes to microphones at the moment (Heck. I'm using a TONOR USB. Not exactly high quality), I do request that you keep background noise to a minimum. As I will try my best to do. As my studio, is my not soundproofed room.

Miyuki Shirogane! The class president of Shuchi'in Academy, and hilarious jack ass who is largely regarded as the coolest person in the school. He is clearly infatuated with Kaguya Shinomiya, and does not intend to confess his feelings to her, because his pride won't let him do it until she does. He is not the focus of this chapter, (as that belongs to Yu Ishigami), however he is still pivotal to the plot as... He is the person Ishigami is mainly talking to.
For Shirogane, I want him to sound cool. He's the type of person that tries to sound calm and collected, so that other do not think lowly of him, however that facade kinda breaks down every now and then, when something he doesn't like happens.
(Calm and dignified) I see. You're resigning... (Suddenly loud, yet apologetic. Still. Go HAM) WHATEVER IT WAS, PLEASE FORGIVE ME! WITHOUT YOU WE'LL GO BANKRUPT! LITERALLY!!!
(Calm and dignified) I can't possibly go to a cafe. It'd be far too expensive.
That's kind of cute... (Clearly infatuated with Kaguya's cuteness)
Kaguya Shinomiya! The Vice President of the Shuchi'in Academy Student Council! What some would consider a cold, yet sophisticated gal, she is part of an insanely rich family and often comes off as really manipulative (a fault that she admits she has) or even... Scary (considering what happens to Ishigami here, it makes sense). She does have feelings for Miyuki Shirogane, the Student Council President, but does not want to admit that to him, it will make her family seem weak.
For Shinomiya, I want someone who is capable of sounding sophisticated and cold, yet cute. That facade breaks every now and then, when she has no idea how to handle a situation, and she'll get flustered when she doesn't. She isn't exactly a leading role, however she does pop up for a lot of the chapter, so she's practically support in this one.
(Smug as possible, befitting that of a rich yet dignified girl) So then if you happened to have a coupon, I assume it would be a different story?
(Shaking and quavering, yet trying to remain in control) What are you talking about? Me? The President? Don't be ridiculous! That would never happen!
(apologetic has heck) It was just a little prank... (As cute as heck) Hehe... I'm sorry.
Chika Fujiwara The Secretary of the Shuchi'in Academy Student Council! She is a bit of a ditz, being really bubbly and unaware than most, Chika often plays the part of an unpredictable element in the mind games of Shinomiya and Shirogane.
For Fujiwara, I need someone who is able to be... Cute and airheaded. Someone with a very airy voice, that makes it seem as though they are kinda just floating with happiness. Although she doesn't get many lines in this one, she still needs a voice befitting her nature!
(Happy tones!) Kaguya killed me!
(Sound like you're dying) President... Help meeee...
Just. Go ham. But make it extreme, like everything you're saying is the truth. Really deep. Sorta like the English Mob Psycho 100 narrator.
