Voice Actor
A warm, laid-back, and deeply caring man whose humor and humility conceal immense guilt and self-loathing. A devout and insightful swordsman, Samura carries the weight of his past actions and believes in atonement, often choosing to suffer alone rather than allow others to bear his burdens.
Despite his ruthlessness in battle, he is fiercely protective of those he cares about, especially his daughter. Beneath his self-sacrificial nature is a man who desperately wants to believe in a better future, eventually learning to trust and fight alongside others rather than carrying everything alone.

"Tobimune."
Voice Actor
A kind, seemingly ordinary student with a sharp streak of snark when pushed. Iori is compassionate, courageous, and deeply protective of those around her, often putting the wellbeing of her classmates and loved ones before herself. Though initially inexperienced and frightened by life-threatening situations, she possesses remarkable mental strength and an instinctive bravery that emerges under pressure.
Iori tends to blame herself when others suffer because of her, carrying a strong sense of guilt and responsibility. As her memories return, that guilt transforms into determination: she chooses to protect the ordinary life she values and faces danger head-on without hesitation.\

“If I can get stronger.. If I get strong enough to send all this stuff flying.. Maybe he’ll stay with me.”
“I want to see.. my father!!”
“So it was meaningless.. No matter how much I struggled.. My feelings could never reach him.”
Voice Actor
Pragmatic, calculating, and far more cautious than her combat-hungry peers. While she shares their capacity for violence, Toto prefers to avoid unnecessary fights and focuses on survival and strategy over proving herself. She values the safety of herself and her allies, even when it means abandoning a mission or retreating from a dangerous situation. Calm under pressure, Toto serves as a grounded counterbalance to her more reckless companions.

“Samura was already forced to cut him down once. He’s resisted using it for this long. Why would he..?”
Voice Actor
A serious, duty-bound young man whose childlike appearance and laid-back demeanor belie his unwavering dedication. Ro is fiercely loyal to his master and the Masumi, willing to risk his life to protect them. Even in dangerous situations, he remains calm, confident, and casually self-assured, often responding to threats with humor and sharp remarks.
Despite his relaxed exterior, Ro is emotionally perceptive and openly acknowledges the feelings of those around him. He understands the weight of others' burdens and can recognize when someone's determination or self-sacrifice is hurting the people who care about them.
