Just a Pinch: Student Short Film
Project Overview
"Just a Pinch" is a student film about Sun a celestial being having his human friend Dee help them with their first at home hormone injection. This is a student film on a student budget.
I am looking for 2 voice actors.
Sun: Teenage to young adult trans man/male, frustrated, nervous
Dee: Teenage to young adult trans woman/female, worried, curious, soft spoken
Each role will have a flat fee of $15, payments can be made through Paypal or Venmo. You will be paid immediately after the session is done. Your name will of course be added to the credits of the film.
Line recording will be done live through Discord. If you will be recording remotely, please have a quality recording booth and microphone available.
The film is expected to be finished by January of 2026 so the timeline is very quick.
A little bit about me:
Hi! I'm Charli (they/them) I'm a Junior at the School of Visual Arts studying 2D Animation. This film is personal to me as its about a piece of the transgender experience. Dee (they/she) is in her mid twenties and is a bit quiet and soft. They are caring and very gentle. Her friend needs a pep talk and some reassurance doing his first at home t-shot and she is nervous but happy to help.
Dee is a transfeminine character so ideally I'm looking for a transfeminine actor.

Sun (he/they) is a celestial sky being with the past of a being a brave and noble warrior, but today is currently struggling to his first at home t-shot and needs his human friends help.
Sun is bright and warm and not used to being scared or needing comfort. They often try to push their real feelings away but right now its hard to hide.
Sun is a transmasculine character so ideally I'm looking for a transmasculine actor.
