About Us:
I am a founder of the channel "Dubfounded". Here at Dubfounded, we are dedicated to bringing your favorite manga series to life through dynamic voice acting, immersive sound design, and an authentic adaptation of the original material. With a passion for anime and manga, our team strives to deliver the most engaging and faithful dubs, ensuring that each series gets the attention it deserves.
So far, our discography includes four exciting episodes covering the Jujutsu Kaisen Hidden Inventory arc, and one episode of Chainsaw Man already released. We’re continually working to expand our catalog, diving deeper into the manga worlds that fans love and creating dubs that resonate with both newcomers and long-time fans.
We love engaging with our voice actors and always strive to create a collaborative, open-minded environment. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the scene, we value creativity and encourage fresh, unique takes. Our team believes in making the dub experience fun, inclusive, and inspiring for everyone involved. We are a relatively new team, only starting about a month ago with our dubs, and look forward to making even more dubs in the future. Overall, we haven't received any complaints and only good feedback from the way we do things around here. Tucker and SRG, the founders of Dubfounded are the directors of every project, and in no exception will there be other directors. Building a chemistry with these folks is at the highest of our concern, along with making quality content for anime/manga fans to enjoy along with making ourselves along with the voice actors in the dubs stand out.
About The Project:
This fandub project covers Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 1, focusing on the introduction of the world of curses, the arrival of Yuji Itadori, and his unexpected encounter with the fearsome Ryomen Sukuna. The story kicks off with Yuji’s fateful decision to swallow a cursed object, becoming the vessel for the King of Curses himself. The arc sets the stage for the dynamic battles and deep character moments that will define the series, all while introducing key figures like Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki and Satoru Gojo.
The goal of this fandub is to deliver an immersive experience, capturing the series' signature high-energy battles, intense moments of tension, and impactful dialogue with a fully voiced cast.
IMPORTANT NOTES AND GUIDELINES:
Being able to meet deadlines. I will be expecting the lines to be delivered within a week, but details are subject to change.
Interest and knowledge of the anime series in this project. Because of the nature of such a project, it's highly encouraged to brief yourself over the characters, who they are, and how they sound in both official and unofficial depictions.
Decent microphone and quality audio; XLR is preferred, but USB is totally fine. However, I request that there be no background noise or distortion; anything of such will be dismissed.
There will be screaming involved as well as light cursing, so please keep this in mind when auditioning. Make sure your audio doesn't peak or distort when submitting your audition.
Discord will be the primary form of communication and is required to continue further with this project. Please be responsive with communications; try to respond within 24 hours of receiving messages.
Expect revisions to submissions of lines as needed when working together; ideally, this shouldn't occur often, but any complications with the animation might cause for this to occur if necessary.
PLEASE READ and FOLLOW these guidelines!! I stress that you do, as compliance with such will ensure a higher chance of being selected for the role.
Lastly, we want to note that while we would prefer similarity to the original voices, emotion and energy are most important above all. This will be a very energetic and high-octane video, which means we will need such from your voices! (that being said, being able to do both is beyond ideal)

Yuji Itadori is a kind-hearted yet fiercely determined teenager with exceptional physical abilities, thrust into the world of jujutsu sorcery after consuming one of Sukuna's fingers. Despite his carefree and goofy nature, he possesses a strong moral compass, valuing human life and carrying immense guilt over those he fails to save. His character balances emotional depth, raw intensity in battle, and moments of comedic charm.
Yuji’s voice should have a youthful yet slightly rough edge, capable of shifting from lighthearted energy to raw, emotional intensity. His battle cries and desperate moments should carry weight, but his casual speech should feel natural and effortlessly charismatic.

Ryomen Sukuna is a cruel and immensely powerful Cursed Spirit, known as the King of Curses, who delights in domination, destruction, and tormenting those he deems weak. Though he shares a body with Yuji Itadori, Sukuna operates with complete arrogance and indifference, only showing interest in those he considers worthy or entertaining. His presence exudes menace, intelligence, and an overwhelming sense of superiority.
Sukuna’s voice should be deep, smooth, and dripping with confidence, carrying a regal yet sinister undertone. He should sound effortlessly dominant, with a chilling calmness that can quickly shift into an unsettling, sadistic amusement or explosive fury when provoked.

Megumi Fushiguro is a reserved and intelligent jujutsu sorcerer with a strong sense of justice, often hiding his emotions behind a stoic exterior. Though he appears cold, he deeply values his friends and will push himself to reckless extremes to protect them. His strategic mind and unwavering determination make him a formidable fighter, especially with his unique Ten Shadows Technique.
Megumi’s voice should be calm, slightly deep, and naturally serious, with a subdued but firm tone. He rarely raises his voice unless in moments of urgency or frustration, where his quiet intensity can break into sharp, commanding force.

Fiercely independent and outspoken, she has a sharp tongue and a fearless attitude, yet she deeply values her friends and fights with unwavering resolve. Her brash personality hides a deep emotional strength, making her both charismatic and formidable in battle.
Nobara’s voice should be energetic, sharp, and full of personality, effortlessly switching between sarcastic wit, fiery outbursts, and moments of genuine emotion. Her tone should carry a natural confidence, with an underlying intensity that makes her presence impossible to ignore.

Kiyotaka Ijichi is the serious and often overworked assistant director of Jujutsu High, responsible for handling logistics, transportation, and support for field sorcerers. Though he lacks combat abilities, he is deeply dedicated to his role, often stressing over his responsibilities and the reckless nature of the students he assists. Despite his anxious demeanor, he remains a loyal and dependable ally to the jujutsu sorcerers.
Ijichi’s voice should have a slightly nervous, formal tone, reflecting his professional yet constantly stressed personality. He should sound diligent but weary, with the ability to shift into panicked frustration when overwhelmed by the absurd situations he often finds himself in.
