Hey everybody! This is a casting call for Jujutsu Kaisen, and I'm casting for characters for episode 4 (A part of it at least). I have decided to dub over episode 4 instead of 1 only because I feel like 4 has some great scenes, but I believe the english dub has done it no justice. (Of course some characters are better than others) I really want to work on my voiceover editing, and I think it would be great experience for me to work with more people. And because I do enjoy myself a great yell or two.

A little about myself:
I am an actor, simply put. In high school I dabbled in voiceover, I always found it interesting when voice actors can change their voice at will and can play any character. Dragon Ball Z is my main inspiration for my love of voiceover! I have attended class with some great people like Chuck Huber and Marla Kirban, whom helped me with my character/commercial voiceover. Of course I am terrible at commercial but my character voiceover is pretty decent to say the least (Or most???)
What is to be expected from this Fandub?
Well, one thing is for sure, once this episode is complete, I'll make sure to pay my cast. Nowadays I realize how hard it is to make a living off of voiceover, and I understand a lot of it has to do with environment and financial stability. We will also be joining a voiceover discord! We will have our rehearsals there and make sure that we all understand what is being shown on screen and I'll make sure to direct you in the right way with how I want things to be interpreted.
The requirements when auditioning
First thing is first. High quality audio. an XLR microphone is highly recommended when auditioning, but USB's wont be dismissed as long as you can pull it off (And... Some have). But it makes a difference if you have an XLR, and will greatly increase you chances of getting cast.
Second (and this is the most important on the list), be committed to the project if/when you are cast. A person who isn't flexible with their time is unacceptable, and I will have to recast if you happen to not show up when scheduled. If you believe that you may have some family problems or things that take priority, please let me know in advance and we can always work something out in the end. However, the more free your schedule is, the less you will stress about getting in your files to me, and the more love you can put into those lines. (Lines need lovin')
Third. Be communicative. We will have discord calls to have read-throughs. If discord isn't your main way of communicating with people, let me know and we can work something out. But you'd still have to join the discord calls.
Before you audition
Make sure that you are in a quite space, and eliminate any reverb that is in the room. If you don't have any space that is "reverb free", you can always hide underneath a blanket! It works pretty damn well.
Don't be too close to the microphone. But don't be too far away (Something like 6 inches away from your mic will do.)
Take deep breaths, be aware, be the character. Set aside pain, frustrations, and any outside troubles you are having. Acting is about being the character you are playing, and if you have anything on your mind, leave it at the door. Act at your best, and give it your best shot!

Fushiguro is just what you expect from a Sasuke type character. He's just so cool. The voice I'm looking for is a mid voice, but I'm open to all ranges for this one.
(Calm, Assertive) We need to expand the evacuation to ten kilometers. (What about you?) I'll stay. I'm going to wait for Itadori.
(Serious, Hopeful) I don't want him to die... Gojo, can you save him? It'll be my responsibility to end him.
(Worried) No way.. Demon Dog should have sensed the curse.. (Frightened gasp) ITADORI! Time to run, we'll find her later, right now we have to- *mini gasp*
Now that I think about it, she is a lot like Sakura. She's the one who will give you a thing or two if you say anything remotely idiotic! But she has some interesting weapons.. A hammer and nails to fight curses? Now this is a character. I'm looking for a sassy voice, with authority and presence! Open to all ranges!
The curses presence! How can there be so many?
(Irritated, Impatient)You both need to cut it out! UGH! What the hell is wrong with the both of you? Are you both idiots? This is hardly the time and place to- (Gets pulled by a curse)
(Scared) But- But we just came from that door just a second ago!
Now, Sukuna is seriously bad news. He shares a body with our main character, Itadori Yuji, and is only summoned on serious occasions. At times, he can seem like he is playing around, but he will quickly change moods in an instant. The voice I'm looking for is a deep demonic voice, I want you to really exaggerate this characters attitudes.
(Happy, Joyful) Hey, did you know about this? Apparently you and I both classified as special grade, great job! You and me man!
(Pissed, Prepared to fight) Neither you nor this punk whose body I'm in truly understand what curses really are. This is a good opportunity to show you.. What true Jujutsu is. Domain Expansion
(Clumsy) Shit, I healed is other hand too... (Curious) What? you don't like to take walks..(Acknowledging) Oh thats true cursed spirits are supposed to stay where they're born. (Goofy) Fine fine! in that case.. (Serious, Scary) You will die here.
He's just a cursed spirit. Sound gross, and maniacal
