He is a 16 year old boy. He starts off as this extremely sweet and happy character, but as the show progressives, he is forced to mature and grow into a more strong stoic leader.

NEVE: So, how did you guys meet?  

FINN: In school, we were partnered together for a project, and we got close after that.  

NEVE: How do you feel about him?  

FINN: I, uhh… [pause, his cheeks redden slightly] Fine, I guess, we are pretty close.  

NEVE: You don’t have to lie to me, I'm a mother silly, I know everything.  

FINN: You... do?  

NEVE: [laughs] Of course honey, you are so ignorant, it cracks me up. I like you though, so it's fine. I notice you're awkward around him, you have been extra polite to me, and I can’t forget about the prolonged eye contact. So you want to fess up or what?  FINN: I’m sorry, but I have no idea where you are going with this ma’am.  

NEVE: You are truly a blissfully ignorant child. [she laughs again] You hate my son, don’t you? He's a burden to you.  

FINN: My god, no. Never! I—  

[Cuts to ASHER walking down a hall toward the kitchen. We hear NEVEs voice. ASHER stops and eavesdrops Cut back to NEVE and FINN.]  

NEVE: You don't have to lie to me dear. I have had many talks like this with his past friends. The more I talked to them about Asher, the more they saw that. Please, don’t feel bad about leaving him, it's for the best. It's not like he will be alone, he has me. My mother had a saying that perfectly captures this. Whenever people hurt me, my mother would hold me and say My Heart May Break, But My Blood Is Sure. People may hurt me, but my blood, my family, will always be here for me.  

[We see FINN, his expression is mostly blank, but his eyes are angry.]

FINN: Respectfully, you’ve made a mistake. You couldn’t be more wrong about me and your son. I really care about Asher, way more than you do by what I can tell. He's moving out. He's turning 17 tomorrow, so he's basically an adult. If you try to intervene, my parents will press charges on child neglect.

He is a 15 year old transgender boy. He is very passionate about science and practices it on a very high level. He is always making new inventions, even though he is the only human main character, he finds ways to use magic and science in his projects.He goes from being an underdog to becoming one of the strongest characters in the story, but it comes at a cost.

NEO: I'm fine, I got here using my most recent invention. I used those pencils I asked you to enchant to power it. It's a teleportation device, I mixed science and magic together to create it.

FINN: [grinning] I knew I called the right person here.

NEO: Do you know what could be causing the reaction?

ASHER: I know as much as you, if not, less.

NEO:  Hmm. 

[NEO kneels down, removes a glove, and holds a hand above the goo. The goo moves as if alive, slowly retreating from NEO’s touch to avoid it. The goo moved very slowly to get away from him.]

NEO: It's hot, and if I'm right, high in acidity. I can tell that from the smell, now that I'm closer it's sour, it reminds me of a hot rotten lemon. Ew, I can taste it. [Neo makes a face if disgust]

[NEO shows FINN and ASHER, Finn is grinning, and ASHER is confused. NEO reaches into his bag, he pulls out papers and writes symbols. When he finishes writing the symbol, the room starts to shake and NEO almost falls into the goo. Before NEO falls, FINN grabs him and pulls him back to the doorway.]

NEO: Interesting. 

[NEO pulls out more paper and starts to draw the symbol again. FINN takes the pencil from NEO’s hand.]

FINN: Nope, I don't think that's a good idea, man.

ASHER: What’s that symbol? What are you trying to do?

NEO: It's an Ethesian rune. I was going through my attic a few months ago, and I found a book on ancient runes of the Ethesian gods. They apparently have magical abilities. I found a lot about Ethesian magic up there, also 

[Neo pulls out a metal cylinder] 

NEO: I found a few of these as well. I remember the rune that belongs to the Ice deity. My hands are really cold, so I'm thinking that the temperature could factor into the goo’s previous reaction. It moved away from my cold hand. So my plan was to see if my hypothesis worked, and if it did, I planned to use it to manipulate the goo all into one area so that I could collect it and bring it home to study further.

Myles is 16. He was an orphan and adopted by the main antagonists. He works under his adoptive parents. He has a redemption arc where he eventually quits his job and leaves his family. He is well-versed in science, but the mechanical side. He starts off as cocky and paranoid of his surroundings, and he lacks the ability to form good emotional attachment. He grows into someone who is able to trust his loved ones and turns into a much better person

MYLES: Can’t you just heal it or something?

NEO: I'm human, I can’t wield magic

MYLES: Oh great, im stuck with a deurmi

NEO: Deumi?

MYLES: It another word for weak humans

NEO: Then heal yourself

MYLES: I can't, healing magic is extremely hard to do if your not born with it

NEO: That sucks, I guess you're going to bleed out, then fail the trial..

[Neo packs up his things, and stands as if he is going to leave. MYLES thinks he's just bluffing, but once Neo stands, MYLES panics.]

MYLES: That's bullshit! Come on, you can't leave me here!

NEO:I guess I can help you, If you apologize.

MYLES: Like hell I will!

NEO:[sing songy] Byeeee

NEO turns and takes a few slow steps, and stops when he hears MYLES

MYLES: [growls/groans in frustration. He is very hesitate, almost choking on the words, it comes out 

weak] Fine, im sorry [desperately] please, help me, I can't fail this

[NEO immediately sits and quickly pulls out the rubbing alcohol, he reaches out. MYLES sees that and yells at him to stop, but NEO ignores him. MYLES eyes widened as NEO touched his blood covered leg, but nothing happened.]

MYLES: What- how- 

NEO pours the rubbing alcohol on MYLES leg

MYLES: Ow! Oh my gods! What is that?

NEO: Rubbing alcohol.

[NEO gently wipes one of MYLES legs off, then NEO wrapped the leg up with a bandage, then NEO does the same to MYLES other leg]

NEO: How are you feeling?

MYLES stares at him for a long moment.

MYLES: [delirious] Your… glowing?

NEO:[sighs] Get some rest, i'll keep watch

Asher is a 17 year old male transgender teen. He is often seen as cold by people who aren't close to him. Throughout the story he learns how to move on from the pain his mother has caused and he grows to become a strong leader.

ASHER: Hey.

[FINN playfully bumps shoulders with ASHER.]

FINN: What’s wrong? 

ASHER: [shrugs]

FINN: [more serious, but still gentle] What’s wrong?

ASHER: It’s my mom.

FINN: What has Neve-r done now?  Is she gonna give you 

up? Is she gonna let you down? Ha ha ha? [rick roll drum]

ASHER: [serious] She just—[he starts but sighs] You can be so annoying.

[ASHER unseriously rolls his eyes.]

FINN: [encouraging] It’s just you and me.

[ASHER stands, FINN watches. Asher kicks at grass, pebbles, etc, hands starting in his pockets and then come out, slowly falling into motion the more he thinks, the more he talks, the more his frustration reaches the surface.]

ASHER: I get that I need to do more, I get that I don't do enough. But I don’t get why she has to yell at me at 5 o'clock in the morning. I'm trying so hard, but I dont get why nothing I do is enough for her. I forget one thing and she freaks out. I worked a 12-hour shift yesterday, a job I only have to work because she refuses to get me the basic necessities that I need. I mean, I've had to buy everything myself the day I turned 16. 

[ASHER takes a beat and his body language relaxes, calming down as he returns to his seat beside FINN.]

ASHER: I get I should be grateful for what I have, but I can’t help but grieve what I don’t have.

Joey is a male adult, father to the protagonist Finn. He is the glue of his family. He is a big softy. He is very protective of his family and loved ones

ARREA: Tough love. I could feel the power coming off of him. It was nearly suffocating. His potential can not be wasted. He is what we need to end this stupid generational curse.

JOEY: But, Cora in her prime? She had the blessing of Ethesia herself. Your expectations are far too high.

ARREA: Am I not getting through your thick skull! I believe he is already stronger than she was at her prime, but the power lies dormant. He just needs to unlock it.

JOEY: What.

ARREA: I'll speak to Mythea. I'll see about getting Dyamythea to mentor him.

JOEY: Wow, the god of death himself. That is amazing, but would Dyamythea want to mentor a mortal?

ARREA: Yes, when witches catch the eyes of gods, the god  can reach out and offer them mentorship. Only a god can understand the power your son poses. 

JOEY: Thank you Arrea. [sighs, lightheartedly] I thought the years of dealing with us have made you a lot more grouchy.

ARREA: [softer]Oh trust me, it has, go on, go home. Enjoy the night with your kid before he leaves for Ethesia.

Arrea is a god, she watched over Cora [Finn's mother] during her childhood. Arrea often tries to act like she doesn't care about Cora and her family, but in reality she loves them dearly.

[JOEY leave. ARREA sighs. Her tight expression falls into one of sympathy.]

ARREA: Poor kid, our world is going to devour him

I think it was be fun for this project to explore producing different scenes with different art styles. So the story boarding style isn't as important as just getting the people there and getting the concept of how that scene is going to look. 

I want to explore letting different scenes be animated in different art styles. I think this would be a good way to promote the artist by showing what their art looks like and what they are capable of, as well as adding a unique feel to the show
