☆Hello from JRH Productions!☆
We need your help to develop our newest project, Welcome to Number World.
Our story follows 8 and his friends battling a mysterious figure who threatens to destroy their world. Currently, we are looking for a team for our pilot and the episodes beyond.
WRITERS, SOUND, ARTISTS, EDITORS, ETC (Technically actors can too but you guys still have to audition)
Join our Discord server (no applications required for creative team) Let me know if this link stops working
RULES/GUIDELINES FOR AUDITIONS
General rules:
If you audition for both VA and SVA, you can put them both into one submission, just write so in the audition.
It is preferred if you could make your audition public since there is more than one person casting. If you feel uncomfortable doing so, please DM me
Please leave your Discord (preferred) or email in the audition
Because we use Discord, please follow it’s TOS (aka this project is 13+)
Please be aware that some characters will be in romantic relationships (nothing graphic, of course) and most will curse. One character (who has already been casted) is planned to have an alcohol problem at some point in the series
You may be asked to try out for a different part than the one you auditioned for.
For fairness, we will not cast VAs and SVAs before the project deadline
All roles for this project are UNPAID for the foreseeable future
To all the people commenting about helping with art, I will automatically assume you are a scammer and your comment will be deleted (as I noticed last time that was a really popular scam), so if you actually want to help out with art, send in an audition
VA auditions:
Please have 2-3 takes per line and say all the lines
Feel free to improv lines after the requested lines
Keep auditions over 30 seconds and under a minute
SVA auditions:
Sing 1-2 songs that aren’t longer than 2 minutes total
Sing something that shows off your range and personality, any genre is fine
Who will be making the casting decisions?
J man (owner, director, main writer): jman_07582 on discord, @the_man_of_j on CCC
Me, Iris (Producer, co-director, writer, social media manager, VA): iris_gale on discord, @Iris-Gale on CCC
I would like to mention that this is NOT a professional/adult-ran production of any kind and still in its creative stages, so post production folks might have some downtime before we get started.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! (Like anything, I probably won’t bite)
☆Hope to see you soon!☆
I’m closing this page, but that doesn’t mean that we are done looking for voice actors! Jman and I have pivoted direction and have decided to look for staff before we look for voice actors. Once we have artists and animators (and a full script), we will probably reopen casting at that point in time so stick around! If you are interested in helping out on the creatives side, the ccc is in my profile. Again, thank you guys so much for auditioning, and we hope to see you again soon!
Hey guys! Before I start talking about results and aftermath, I would like to thank you guys for deciding to audition, it really means a lot to us.
Some housekeeping, not every character will be cast this round, and those not cast will move to the next (and hopefully last) round. If you were cast, please make sure you join the Discord server (lmk if the link has expired). If you were dismissed and would like feedback on your audition, feel free to DM me here or on Discord at iris_gale.
First, congratulations to Zoie Mackenzie and Chinny for being cast as our 5 and 1 VAs!
Onto dismissals, I have only dismissed VAs, I’m going to be honest, I’m too tired to go through SVAs and BVAs right now lol. Since they aren’t a priority, I will probably sort them all when the next round ends (unless I get bored and change my mind which is not likely).
Wave 3 will begin most likely at the end of this week, after we decide if we need to call people back for certain roles. The link will be posted here. (Also if you decide to audition, please give 4 and 6 some love!)
Again, thank you guys for auditioning, every single one of you brought us so much hope for this project and we hope it continues to grow! If you have any questions, please DM me here or on Discord. Bye guys! :)
Hey folks, so we decided since we have already made a couple of decisions we are going to move the casting deadline for this wave to this Sunday, September 21st. Results will most likely be up in the following day or so (depending on how busy I get). More info about casting aftermath will be up after I cast. If you can’t make it to this audition, don’t worry! We are making another round where you are welcome to audition for the remaining characters. Anyway, thank you so much, guys! If you have any questions feel free to dm me!
Sorry for the double update, but we have opened up backups for characters casted in previous rounds! (If you get cast as a back up, you will also be in the pool of background characters)
Quick announcement, we have extended the project deadline from July 30th to September 30th because I don’t want to make more than 2 or 3 waves of casting. Thanks guys!
