Journey to Fame Audio Drama (ongoing)
Project Overview
Summary: Journey to fame is the tale of two bands trying to make their way to the top. Once best friends, Alyssa, Celia, Dominic and Blake have parted ways and decided to make their own path. After. a bet between both parties, things go haywire but once these two bands hit the stage it's winner takes all.
*SINGING IS NOT A REQUIREMENT*
This is a non paid audio drama. It may end up being paid work if there ends up being a season 2. There are up 10 episodes (not finished converting the script into an audio drama script yet) in a season. Most of the cast is already chosen, these are recasts. BIPOC
Originally the backup singer in the highschool band Devil’s Discord, after embarrassing herself at the Sadie Hawkins dance attempting to sing lead she’s given up hope to become a singer. Her passion is writing songs but performing them is a different story. Her best friend is Celia. They are more like sisters. Despite having a boyfriend she hasn’t gotten over her highschool crush on Blake – the lead singer of Devil’s Discord. She is the song writer and creator of an indy rock band called Symphonic angels

And that was it, I ran. Well-- I froze and then ran. Actually, I'm pretty sure I puked before I ran, so maybe it was I froze, puked, then ran. Either way, very embarrassing. I haven't been back on stage since. Celia took over my solos that night and Blake called me over and over again afterwards. Needless to say I avoided him for the rest of that year. Celia quit the band once I stopped showing up to rehearsals. Thankfully, college was a chance to reinvent myself and thats exactly what I did.

Diana is the drummer of Symphonic Angels. She is incredibly sarcastic and egotistical. She doesn’t like doing anything for free. However, she is incredibly loyal to her friends. Diana is very blunt and doesn’t care if she hurts your feelings. One of her favorite past times is picking on Bree.

So when we perform our demo in Blake's studio, I'd like a guitar solo.
I hate to agree but this sounds like one of those competitive cheerleading movies.
lead singer of Death Tones (formerly known as Devil's Discord). He was born into privilege. His father was once a musician and he could easily get a record deal but he'd rather start from the bottom up. He was once best friends with Alyssa. They've known each other since kindergarten. As they got older he eventually started becoming attracted to her but didn't want to wreck their friendship. A bit arrogant or pretends to be.
Yeah, we got booked at the Hard Rock Cafe. You have to play the sometime. Have you ever played there? Ya know what; could you make that one black coffee and one mocha lattee. Trying to watch the weight. Gotta stay sexy for the ladies.

Just hear me out. We're in a play and we are the two main characters. We've known each other since grade school and we both have successful bands.
