My Jojo Abridged series is currently needing a few new voices for upcoming characters. Some will be longer term than others (such as Will Zeppeli) and others will be very brief (such as Dario in episode 3). The previous episode is linked, so you have an idea of tone, writing and characters. Before you audition, I have a few requirements for every auditionee.
Be responsive when I give direction, message you etc. I'd like as much communication as possible, so I know when your free, what you're ok and not ok saying etc.
Have a good mic and recording equipment. I'm not expecting a £200 mic or anything, but I'd like something that isn't a potato.
No background noise, echo etc in your auditions. I'd like to hear your voice, not your fan, air conditioner or the traffic outside.
Have fun. It may sound corny as all hell, but I'd hate for you to be in this project and not enjoy it.
Do note that I'm going to add characters if need be. The episode 4 script is currently 50% complete, so characters such as Jack The Ripper will most likely appear before the casting call is over.

Taking inspiration from Alec Guinness's' Obi Wan Kenobi, I'm wanting a wise, confident voice. My best way to describe it would be to have a look at the dub voice, as this is the best reference to what I want the voice to be. He's going to be fairly sarcastic, to bounce off Jonathan, Dio and Speedwagon.
Do note that I'm not casting Zeppeli for a while, since he's in Episode 4. If you audition, It's likely I'll contact you about the role in early 2021, or when Episode 3 is finished. If you don't think you'll be available then, I suggest auditioning for one of the Episode 3 roles, as that'll have a quicker turnaround
As a note, from a lot of auditions coming in, I can tell a lot of people aren't reading the Casting Call description. Please edit out background noise before submitting your audition. If I hear noise, I'm less likely to cast you. I wat to hear your performance, not your AC.

(Explaining Hamon to Jonathan) Hamon is a way of living, Jojo. It surrounds us, helps our every action. If you have a high enough Hamon blood count, you can be a Jedi!
Remember Jack The Ripper? Like...THE Jack The Ripper? He shows up for one episode and then gets himself killed. Dumbass.
Jacks lines mainly consist of growls and grunts, but he has a few speaking lines. I'd like a deep, growly voice for him, due to his size. I'd like to emphasis the growling line. He's gonna be grunting and making weird vampire sounds for most of his time on screen, so please give the line a go if you're interested.
As always, please make sure background noise in your recording is at a minimum. Use noise cancelling software if you can. I'm not going to cast people who have poor sound quality.
(Laughing, typical evil monologue) You weaklings! You mortals! I, Jack The Ripper, have been sent here by lord DIO to destroy you before you have the chance to face him!
(Gloating/boasting to himself) That Joestar fool...he doesn't realise that I, Jack The Ripper, have the ability to see in the dark!

Poco is that one kid that Antfish called British Tom Sawyer. He's a resident of Wind Knights Lot and acts as the kid sidekick for the team during the latter half of part 1.
For his voice, I'm going to be fairly relaxed about what I want. I'm really looking for someone that sounds like a kid from England. If you want to put a spin on it, be my guest.

In term of voice, I'd like him to have a very deep and posh British accent. My thinking is that he's going to sound like a posh English gentleman and Tarkus will sound like a brutish monster. The best reference I can think of is the Youtuber CDawgVA, as he has an ideal accent for this. If he sees this, brilliant. Recommend it to him idk

Tarkus is the other member of the Dark Knight tag team with Bruford. He's best remembered for murdering Zeppeli and (as a result) mildly upsetting Jonathan.
In terms of voice, I'd like a deep, intimidating one to match his size. Think PS4 God Of War Kratos levels of intimidation. If Bruford is the 'beauty', then Tarkus is the beast..

Extras are the backbone of a lot of projects. Everyone knows about Extra #27 from DBZ- the true hero of the Freeza saga (Idk if that's true). In all seriousness, this role will definitely have the most consistent voice work needed (apart from Jonathan, Speedwagon and Dio). Each line given in this audition will have a different tone, accent and overall delivery required, This is basically to test your range, so that not every extra you'll voice sounds the same.
(English accent, scared) Please! Not the children! Anyone but the children! And me...Anyone but the children and me!

Dario was in Episode 1, but the voice actor unfortunately dropped out for Episode 3. If you watch Episode 1, you'll get the jist of what I'm looking for- deep, gravelly voice and a thick English accent
