A New Horizon is a sci-fi indie show written by me! I am currently casting VAs for the pilot only but depending on the outcome of it I will add roles for the rest of the main cast here.
This is currently an unpaid project but when the pilot airs I also plan to start a kickstarter to get funding to pay everyone. Voice actors will be paid an agreed upon amount per line each episode.
Also for now and when the rest of the main cast roles are up feel free to audition for as many characters as you want. My policy is 1 main character per VA and then several side characters per VA. As long as you make them sound like different people of course.
Requirements to join the team:
-Need to have a Discord and be +13 or up as per discords rules (If you are a bout to turn 13 then that counts too)
-Need to have a good quality mic, while I am a decent audio engineer and would be able to get rid of background noise I would prefer good quality sound from you.
-Need to be able to work well with others
-Be able to attend "Table reads" which would be discord calls to get together and rehearse lines before recording.

The leader of the Solders, she was the first Horizon agent ever to be given cybernetics that granted superpowers. She can manipulate gravity, making it heavier or lighter, which she applies in many different ways.
She is hard-working and serious to a fault, to where some people think she’s a machine and not a human being. The added responsibilities of being the first and the leader of the team do not help.Her voice should sound almost robotic; she has emotions and does express them, but she’s so controlled and disciplined that she isn’t the best at it. So when she’s truly emotional, you know something is up. Like Black widow in the mcu movies.

Another member of the team, and believe it or not, the best friend of Willow, her cybernetics allow her to manipulate light and even create powerful hard light constructs in battle. Much more extroverted and outgoing, she is the exact opposite of Willow, except that when it comes to being hardworking, she knows when to lock in and focus on the mission, just like everyone else on the team.

The pilot of the crew, when they need to travel by their jet, a former Air Force Ace Pilot and Graduate of West point Wyatt is hardworking and a true team player. His cybernetics match his go with the flow energy as he can control water that is either kept in canisters on his person or just from the moisture in the air around him, like a water bender from Avatar. He’s also a music lover and a big fan of Frank Sinatra.
He grew up with several brothers and is street smart, has a very charismatic way of speaking, and always keeps a level head. Deep, chill, somewhat soothing voice at times, think Roger Craig Smith when he’s not doing Sonic or Matt Mercer.

The current head of Horizon, this world's version of Nick Fury or Amanda Waller. Level-headed and a true leader, she can ride the highs and lows of this line of work without breaking a sweat.
Similar to Amanda Waller and Nick Furry she needs to sound in charge and level-headed, almost nothing ever fazes her. But she does have a heart at the end of the day.Also its not "Soldiers" its "Solders," like the word Soldering (its a pun cause the main team are cyborgs. But I understand if you say "Soldiers" in your audition the two words are very similar.

The leader of a small group of four cyborgs with illegal enhancements who appears in the pilot. He's the only one with a speaking role so he needs a voice. Being the leader he should sound calm and composed.
Could have New York accent considering this takes place there or just a regular Amercian one either works well.
