Neo Metal Sonic[3] is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is one of Metal Sonic's transformations which he once used to disguise himself as Dr. Eggman and copy the data of his foes in order to make himself more powerful. Metal Sonic transformed into Neo Metal Sonic in an attempt to take over the Eggman Empire.[2] After disguising himself as Dr. Eggman, he eventually clashed with Team Heroes in the Egg Emperor mech.[5] Not only did he lose in this battle, but after he was found out to be a fake, he was defeated by Team Heroes and turned back to normal. After this defeat, Eggman repaired Metal Sonic and removed the rebelliousness from his coding.[2]

Amy Rose (エミー・ローズ Emī Rōzu?), also formerly known as Rosy the Rascal (ロージー・ザ・ラスカル Rōjī za Rasukaru?), is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is an anthropomorphic pink hedgehog with a crush on Sonic the Hedgehog. Since meeting Sonic on Little Planet, Amy has declared herself his girlfriend and has attempted to win his heart by any means in many of their adventures. She wields the Piko Piko Hammer, which she uses with skills second to none and never leaves home without.[17]

Sonic thus became one of her most trusted allies.[2][5]

[Neutral] "As most of you know, if Sonic can manage to gather up the seven chaos emeralds, he can use their power to transform into Super Sonic. On my world, we have similar gems called Sol Emeralds. She is an anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur from Spiral Hill Village and a member of the current generation of Diamond Cutters. She first became acquainted with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends during the fallout after the Eggman War, having sprung into action to defend her village from one of the Badnik hordes terrorizing settlements across the world. Since then, she has been a recurring participant in the adventures of Sonic and his allies.

Large and imposing with a kind heart beneath his scaly exterior, Vector is ready to take any job that pays, but will always help those in need for free, a charitable nature leaving his agency perpetually short on money.

The Eggster
In the past, Eggman met Sonic and the two immediately became enemies, having fought many battles with each other, with the hedgehog inevitably prevailing in the aftermath.[10][11] Some of Eggman's plots have included trying to take ownership of the Chaos Emeralds (multiple times no less) and attempting a plot involving the Death Egg. Each time however, Sonic stopped him.[12] At one point, the doctor would attempt to conquer Flicky Island, but his schemes were thwarted.[13][14] Another plot of the villain's involved the deployment of the Hard Boiled Heavies against Sonic, which also failed.[15][16]
Dr Eggman: [Fusterated/Neutral to Happy] "How DARE that Sonic damage you! He wouldn't recognize a work of art if it punched him in the face! You did punch him in the face right?" [Metal Sonic puts a thumbs up] "Attaboy!"
Mr Tinker: [Fear] "BUT I'M NOT HIM! I DON'T WANT TO BE EGGMAN!"
Dr Eggman: [Angry] "When did I get here? WHO ARE ALL OF YOU? AND WHO DRESSED ME LIKE THIS?!"

Elder Scruffy is a wise and polite man who priorities his village and its inhabitants over himself. He is also extremely compassionate and willing to forgive and forget. Noticeably, he wanted Dr. Eggman to be free to do some good after the doctor had lost his memory and became a reformed man that would help out Elder Scruffy's village in wondrous ways in spite of having heard stories of the doctor's horrendous acts that he could hardly imagine.
[Calm] "Excuse me. I'm the head of the village. May I weigh in on the subject?"
[Calm] "Once we realized he wasn't-well, himself-we nursed his wounds and took him in."

In the past, Shadow once tried to destroy Sonic, as well as the entire planet, but was eventually reformed. This led to Shadow teaming up with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and even Dr. Eggman himself to save the world.[5] After that, he played a part in the war against the invading Black Arms. Eventually, Shadow was forgiven for his misdeeds and now actively seeks to protect the world.[6][7] Shadow has even fought Sonic on a few occasions after their first meeting[8][9] Shadow would later participate in the world grand prix with Rouge.[10]

Some time ago, Rouge participated in a situation involving the Space Colony ARK, in which Eggman used its Eclipse Cannon to blow up a part of the moon in order to show the world the power that he wielded. These events lead to Rouge teaming up with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and even Dr. Eggman himself to stop a bigger threat.[2][3][4] Rouge would later on join the world grand prix and encounter the Babylon Rogues with Shadow.[5]

Originating from the future, Silver experienced first-hand the effects of Dr. Eggman's conquest of the world during Sonic's time, which resulted in everyone from his time living in fear and choking on polluted air. Silver thus went back in time to stop the Eggman Empire. After arriving, he joined the Resistance in their war against the Eggman Empire.[10][5]

He was an anthropomorphic duck-billed platypus and a shadowy scientist who was highly interested in Dr. Eggman and his work. After the War to Take Back the Planet, Starline found an amnesiac Eggman and helped restore his memories. He then served as his apprentice during the Metal Virus pandemic, but got fired after seeing Eggman's flaws.

Cream is a very sweet, lovely, polite and well-mannered girl. While still young with an attitude befitting her age, Cream is extraordinarily brave and noble. Noted to possess a lot of potential, Sonic himself has remarked that she is going to become an amazing person when she grows up. She has also been noted for her sensibility, her empathy towards others and her understanding. Notably, she stood up to Gemerl to protect some Zombots while convincing Gemerl to use non-lethal means against the Zombots by reminding Gemerl that they were just regular people forced to do evil things, which meant they deserved a chance to be happy, a situation that Cream noted was not all that different from Gemerl's. During the Metal Virus plague, she also helped the survivors by bringing them refreshments and comforting them in difficult times.

A beloved mother and respected elder, Vanilla is a calm and composed woman, never raising her voice. Like her daughter, Vanilla is kind, polite, and always ready to help those in need. Apparently possessing a strong faith in Cream and her friends, Vanilla is not bothered by how Cream goes out on dangerous adventures with Sonic and his friends. However, she does seem to prefer a quiet lifestyle, as she has been known to get somewhat frazzled by Sonic and his friends' adventurous ways.

Gemerl is designed to be a learning robot, making him capable of growing wiser and developing with each new experience. Possessing an artificial intelligence, he is likewise capable of making independent decisions. Originally though, all Gemerl cared about was fighting and destroying. After being reprogrammed by Tails however, Gemerl became a gentle and caring robot towards his friends and adopted family. For this reason, he is ready to do whatever it takes to protect Cream's family.
"Sonic. Designation: Friend. Analysis: Infected with same material as villagers. Assessment: You will transform too. Highest level threat to Cream's safety. I will not allow that."
"You cannot help. You are a threat. Reduce threat level or be eliminated."

E-123 (Ｅ－１２３ Ī Wan-Tsū-Surī?)[note 1], codenamed Ω or Omega (オメガ Omega?), is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a robot created by Dr. Eggman as the last and most powerful of his E-100 Series line of robots. However, Omega was locked in a vault to guard the amnesiac Shadow the Hedgehog.[4] Furious at being squandered this way, Omega swore revenge on his creator. Eventually, Rouge the Bat activated him by accident, convincing Omega to join her and Shadow as Team Dark to face Eggman.[5] Although Omega has yet to destroy Dr. Eggman, he continues to fight the Eggman Empire to prove himself as the strongest robot of all time, occasionally aiding others in the process.[6]

Storm the Albatross (ストーム・ザ・アルバトロス Sutōmu za Arubatorosu?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic albatross and the muscle of the current generation of Babylon Rogues. An imposing sight, Storm is a hulking individual that possesses incredible physical strength, enabling him to destroy just about anything in his path.

Zavok (ザボック Zabokku?) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a Zeti who is the leader of the Deadly Six, in addition to being their species' strongest specimen.[4] Hailing from the Lost Hex, Zavok and the Deadly Six were forced to serve Dr. Eggman thanks to his usage of a Cacophonic Conch. After Sonic disposed of the conch, Zavok and the others rebelled against the doctor, taking control of his Badniks and seeking world domination using his Extractor. In the end, Zavok and his fellow Zeti were stopped by Sonic, though not for good.
