Official Knockout Voice Casting (ROUND 2!?)
Project Overview
Knockout! is an Indie Game developed and inspired by countless years of Stick Figure animation. More characters are being casted which means we need more people! For now we add 2 roles to the roster, but more will be added at a later date!
What we need:
Please submit clean recordings without background noise and for lines requiring yelling, or if you choose to yell, please avoid peaking! If you wish to edit your submission and clean it up, you are more than allowed. Just be aware too much may take away from quality. Additionally, please avoid any additions of effects!

JV is a martial artist from the war-torn near future. Living out his life as a hero to the best of his abilities. He has a sense of well practiced confidence with a serious nature when it comes to how he delivers his attack lines, but not too threatening. When he’s getting hit, he should sound like it hurts.
Creators Note: The original creator would like to have a black voice talent to fill this role!

Deus is a kind and chill character. A benevolent force who fights not just to fight or some upheld high power objective, but because she wants to have fun.
While she may come off as a smug character, she's just incapable of taking things serious. Lines should be genuine, less character-like and more realistic. Think of a Writer who meets their own characters, a mother with her child who just learned how to speak, or like a player simply playing a game.*
When reading these lines out, try and imagine how they'd sound if they were to be followed with a ":)"
And if she happens to yell, they'd be followed by a ":D"

Alicia is a sadistic, self appointed justiciar with a heavy god complex. Determined to fix humanity through violence, she is a woman of few allies, and she enjoys that.
Alicia addresses her opponents with a callous tone that gives the impression they’re beneath her. She has a proper way of speaking, but for high energy lines she’s willing to ditch it and go a little more wild. Bonus points if the VA has/can do a German accent.

Attack Lines
Instead of typical light/medium/heavy attack grunts, Alicia’s attack effort noises should sound like she’s barely trying at all. A few “hms” and maybe some laughter.
For her hurt voicelines, she should sound offended more than anything else. Cursing her opponent for believing they even have the right to try harming her, rather than actually feeling the damage.
If you’re doing the German accent bit, throw a Scheiße in there just for the fun of it lol
