A university project! Full production will be next year January-March, but I'm currently just looking for a list of people who would be interested in lending their talent and producing a few demo vocals for a draft animatic!
Okay, so.
In a world that is steadily descending into climate hell and capitalistic hedonism, most of the elites and rich people hop on board a certain billionaire's Mars rocket, and escape Earth (which they trashed before leaving, btw. Smh.) Left behind to fend for themselves, the normal and poor people wage war on each other, before realising literally nobody is forcing them to fight, and instead decide to work together to rebuild the world into a utopia without all these billionaires and rich people ruining their lives.
Meanwhile, on Mars, the place has become a horrible cesspit of human depravity, with the richest becoming even richer, and the formerly rich becoming fodder for their whims. The very idea of 'humanity' becomes a thing of the past, with morals and cosmetic ideals straying further and further from mankind.
This is a speculative art project, and will be published to Youtube and shared on Instagram, as well as used in my creative portfolio. It touches on themes of posthumanism, body horror, existential horror, speculation of the future, and probably other things that I'll add once my brain starts working again.
I refuse to use AI in all of my work. Rest assured that your vocals and anything else you provide me will not be fed into AI under my care.
As of right now, this project is in the draft stages, but will be further solidified in -3 weeks. That is when I'll probably work on a basic pitch video for a casting call!
Please ensure you have read the premise- or at least skimmed it up to this point- to ensure that you are aware of what you're getting into! I am also requesting that if you are auditioning, you must be 16 or over, due to the subject matter and themes.
I will not be casting anybody until closer to the due date, though due to the amount of people I think I will need, you will likely get a role! All roles will have multiple people, and I will be in contact with select people closer to the deadline! After that, I shall produce and release the pitch video, and in January, I will begin full production. I am a one-person team, and this is not a high-budget massive production (it is a project running on vanilla tea and a dying wacom actually), but simply a short (5-10 minute long) 'pilot'. If it is successful (aka, if my lecturer likes it and I can market it well enough), I may continue production into my 4th and final university year as a short series.
Okay, thank you !! Happy voicing, everyone :D
