Enone, the Mew of Hope, is the lead protagonist of a prequel chapter which follows him during his last days alive. He is the spiritual predecessor of Neon, the main character of the full comic. Enone is a regretful, traumatized and overworked young man whose divine duty asks far too much of him. He should have a rather high-pitched voice, very similar to Neon (This is important! Here is his voice as featured in my dub for a general idea: https://youtu.be/dqEvnXAv8tE), and has a timid and somber nature to him brought upon by his struggles. 

  • "For as long as I can remember, I've had only one role: to restore Hope within those who are losing it, or have already lost it. Every Pokémon with a mark on their back is blessed, or cursed, with untold power. Each mark is unique, having its own power. What they all have in common is granting their owner the ability to transform into a Mew. We do not age or get sick, but death is very possible. I am the Mew of Hope, and this is how I spent my final days."

    (Stern and serious, yet melancholy and regretful.)

    (Frightened and desperate, but concerned. You're so tired of all of this pain and trauma that you're on the verge of tears.)

  • "C-Can't you just tell me what's going on, so I can try and help you, then be on my way? Look, you don't even know me! Why go through the trouble of helping me? I'm just a nobody to you."

Known as the Mew of Chaos, Caesi has seemingly gone off the deep end since he gained his powers. Not much is known about him yet, but he appears to torment one of his brothers in a nightmare. It is very likely he will appear again in the future. Go all-out on the dark and edgy!

A young, troubled Eevee that the Mew of Hope has been called to assist. She acts as a supporting character in the prequel chapter she and the Mew are featured in. She is clearly very tired and unwell based on her appearance and mannerisms, but she puts others' well-being first regardless.

  • "T-That's just a title! W-What's y-your REAL name?"

    (She is asked why this matters.)

    "H-How can I trust s-someone I don't know?"

  • "A nobody? No, you're anything but a nobody, Enone. You saved my father."

  • "By the way, I've 'borrowed' one of my father's books. It's about you and the other Marked Mews, but it's clearly outdated and full of misinformation. I was hoping you'd help me correct it? If you want, of course."

A prestigious, high-ranking explorer from another guild. Others of his type have a reputation for being aggressive, egotistical bullies who punch down the chain of command, but from the little we've seen of Ethane, this isn't the case at all for him. He is hardened, and tough like his appearance suggests, but he is shown to be a quiet, polite and reserved person, to the surprise of nearly everyone around him. He probably has somewhat of a deep, mature voice.

  • "That seat... is where I normally sit."

    (The main character politely stands his ground, stating he'd like to keep the seat because he was there first.)

    "You make a good point. Do you mind if I sit here?"

    (He takes a seat next to him instead.)

The deceased sister of Guild Master Usha. She appears briefly in a flashback before being killed as collateral by one of the main villain's many ruthless attacks. This character dies rather horriffically onscreen, so be warned that you will be asked to act out something quite disturbing and dark should you get the part. There's to be a PG-13 or R rating for this chapter, without a doubt!

  • "You're early, so dinner's not ready yet. Can you play with Lily until it's finished, please?"

  • "So, did you hear about what happened to our parents? About what the Mew... did to them?"

    (After a short conversation, she begins to cry.)

    "...I-I st-still miss them... I'm s-sorry..."

  • (Her home is attacked by the vicious villain Oxide, and her sister has just watched her fall victim to an explosion. She now coughs and sputters in a pool of her own blood. Yikes!)

    "I-I failed, I failed to save them! Li-Lily and R-Ray, they're b-b-both D-DEAD! This can't be happeni- AHHH!! I-It hurts, Sis, everything hurts so much! Please make it stop!"

    (Her sister calls out for help fruitlessly.)

    "S-Sis? W-What's going to happen to me?"
