Hi! I'm Baiyi, more commonly known on the internet as Ganymede. I run a modest Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@projectvaluka) mostly dedicated to Hoyoverse lore and theories, but my true passion is my 'audio book' series I record along side it. The focus for this project is to take that idea to the next level and showcase some of the best and most ignored lore in the Hoyoverse by bringing the Honkai Impact 3rd mangas to life for my viewers!
I am youtube partner, and if these videos happen to bring in any revenue, I will gladly share it with cast and crew to the best of my ability though-- just be aware I very rarely make much if any revenue off of my videos, as my channel is pretty small. I'm a voice actor myself, and have wanted to dub these comics for a long time. Honkai Impact 3rd is my favorite Hoyoverse game, and I just think its deep lore deserves more love.
The manga I want to start with is my favorite, the 2nd Key
( https://manga.honkaiimpact3.com/book/1014 ), following the story of the Flame-Chaser who bears the signet of Bodhi, Su, as he tests Bianka Ataegina to see if she is worthy to be his successor.
I plan on this being the start of an on-going project, and I'd like to voice all of the other manga as well, so if you nab a spot as a main character you'll definitely have the chance to reprise the role in other stories if you'd like!

Almost forgot to mention: I do not use AI and will have nothing to do with AI on this or any future projects. Please no AI voice submissions.
I would prefer we all have XLR mics, but even a good streaming mic is acceptable as long as your space is decently sound-treated. Being able to record shouts and efforts with minimal to no echo is a must.
On that note, especially for lead roles (Bianka, Rita, Kevin, all come to mind) please be comfortable with efforts! There are several battle sequences we'll need to bring to life, so be prepared for grunts, shouting, and maybe even a few screams.
Deadlines will be pretty flexible since this is mostly a passion project. That said, deadlines will still exist so keep them in mind!
It's definitely not required, but any knowledge of HI3 is definitely a plus. It's always fun to work with fellow fans.
After completing this project, I'll probably have the cast discuss/vote on what we work on next, be it animated shorts, dubbing chapters from the game itself, or another manga!
Deadline may be extended if I feel I need to seek out more people for roles!
AABBCC format is fine. No slating needed, but if you would like to slate go ahead and toss it at the end of the recording!
Please audition with the microphone and setup you intend to use for the project should you get cast, so I have a full idea of what you're working with.

Note: I am voicing Su myself, if only because it's been a pipe dream of mine for years to do so. He's a relatively minor role in HI3 overall, and doesn't feature in most content going forward.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the auditions so far, but I just want to make sure I give everyone who might want to toss an audition my way the chance to get it in. I'm blown away by the talent I've seen thus far, and thank you for bearing with me a little longer!
While I can do the editing required for this project, I'd prefer to have someone with a little more experience and better software at the helm. I have no preference for what software is used, so long as the finished project feels dynamic and engaging to watch. You will need to have some skills with saving and editing the original manga pages in something like photoshop or clip studio.
I'd heavily prefer someone at least a bit familiar with HI3 in this role, as I'd like to use primarily music from hoyo-mix (to keep the project cohesive and lore-friendly and also because 99% of their music is free to use w/o fear of copyright strikes) and having a little bit of notion where to put those emotional beats would be awesome.
If we don't find an editor, project will go on ahead with me doing the editing! I'd really like to find somebody for this role in particular because I want to go on to do as many of the comics as possible, maybe even moving on to dubbing full chapters of the game itself and managing all of that on top of directing the project and my day-to-day work may get a bit rough.
For reference, this is a project I did all of the editing and sound design for (as well as voicing Kaeya) so-- if I end up the editor, this is the kind of style the final product will have.

Durandal is a high ranking officer within the organization of Schicksal , the captain of Immortal Blades, and also one of the three S-Rank Valkyrie. Her adjutant is Rita Rossewise who is also the vice captain of Immortal Blades and a fellow S-Rank valkyrie.
Durandal is currently the strongest S-Rank Valkyrie in Schicksal. Theresa mentioned the other two S-Ranks are strong due to their natural talents but Durandal is different because she relies on pure hard work.

Durandal is the lead character in this manga. She should sound mature, but not stuffy; confident but not arrogant. I'm looking for a femme voice that can really capture the mood that she is a trained soldier, but still a kind-hearted young woman beneath it all.

(Angry/ self-loathing) She was just ten years old. I was supposed to be a doctor! Yet I failed to save anyone in the last 2 years... (resigned, moving on to hopeful) Time to stop feeling sorry. I need to catch up on my studies. Hopefully there's something worth-while in the post-mortem from last night.
(Narration/inner thought/dialogue) Disaster struck Nagazora 5 years ago and wiped out the entire place. My best friend Rita was a high school student in that city when it happened. I haven't heard from her since.
(Shouting commands, worried and authoritative) Squad, fall back and take position behind the 2nd safety line! And keep your eyes closed! Don't look at that thing!
Despite being an S-rank Valkyrie, Rita is known as a humble and polite individual. Befitting her role as a maid, she radiates grace and elegance wherever she goes. Rita is also caring to those around her and will always note of their likes and dislikes.
But underneath her exterior, Rita is an efficient spy and assassin working under Otto who wont hesitate to kill in order to complete her goals, though she will only do it in the name of the mission.

Otto Apocalypse was born in the 15th century and was the youngest son of the Bishop of Schicksal, the young master of the Apocalypse family. He is Durandal's foster-father and superior officer as the overseer of Schicksal and all of its Valkyries. Though secretly scheming for his own ends, in this story he purely plays the role of Durandal's mentor and father-figure both in reality and in the dream trial Su places her in. He's aristocratic, and considered a genius by many.
As one of a handful of HI3 characters that has made it into other games and has an English voice equivalent. Feel free to give me your own interpretation!

Kevin was one of the greatest human warriors that lived 50000 years ago in the pre-civilization era. The hero of humanity, and Su's closest friend. His single minded desire to eradicate the Honkai threat turned him into a cold and unfeeling person, unable to see any value in saving humanity itself in the process of eliminating his foe. Kevin is a character that is larger than life; the quintessential fallen hero warped by the horrors of war from a bright-eyed youth into a man eaten away by grief and trauma.

Kevin's voice is best described as icy, but capable of explosive rage. He only really shows any warmth when talking with Su and Fu Hua after the fall of humanity. Before this, he was a relatively 'normal guy'. His voice isn't overly deep or gravelly but intense, with an almost ethereal quality. Please feel free to experiment with this one!
(determined) I made a promise to her, and to everyone, on the scorched earth... That one day, no matter the cost, humanity will purge the Honkai.
(Angry, intensity rising as he speaks) Are you saying that we should do nothing while history repeats itself... and let Honkai destroy this era as well?! Then why should we Pioneers exist at all?!
(calculating) Project Ember is done. We tried teaching the humanity of this era what we knew to hasten the growth of civilization... and that simply gave rise to the Honkai. Even powerful Judgement class monsters emerged. You know what that monster Chiyou did.
Fu Hua has a minor role in the comic but is one of the main characters of HI3 and will definitely be featured in almost any continuation project I do, so please keep in mind!
Fu Hua is over 50,000 years old, and thinks of herself as an immovable warrior. She is the progenitor of martial arts in the current era, and is the quintessential 'immortal master' archetype. Part of her story, however, is learning to allow herself to just be a person who is worthy of putting herself first sometimes. She can be stuffy, but in an 'adorable grandma who doesn't know how to work technology' kind of way.

Susannah has a cheerful personality. She is determined and motivated, although a bit clumsy. She tries to never fail her squad and gets excited for her tasks. She always tries to keep motivated, and often pushes herself a bit too hard.

Despite only having a small part in this manga, if this project is successful and I can push forward with other planned fan-dubs for HI3, Susannah will have a recurring lead role!

(worried, but calm) The other doctors say I have the honkai sickness. They say there's no cure... am I going to die?
(friendly/professional) It's been a while, Dr. Bianka. In case you did forget, the name's Paul Long. I'm From Moth. I'm here to pick up the victim. You have the body in a bag?
(Firm but placating) We, the Moth, have quarantined this hospital to contain the Honkai outbreak. Don't worry, all patients have been transferred to our HQ for further treatment.
(surprised, annoyed) But why turn her down? She has the best medical skills of this entire hospital!
(Amused, then exasperated) You tried to join that shady club? Pfft. They spent 5 years and came up with nothing. Not even a treatment plan. Perhaps they never wanted to release their findings on a cure.
(encouraging) But you, Bianka, might come up with the miracle we need. That's precisely why I know you're my best student!

Okay we don't know for a fact that this entity is Sa, but Sa is definitely the most likely candidate, and I think it would be cool continuity for later LOL.
