Project Overview
Hiring a male narrator for a long-term YouTube channel focused specifically on RuneScape 3 (RS3). This role involves narrating videos covering RS3 lore, quests, storylines, updates, and in-depth game-related content. This is NOT an Old School RuneScape (OSRS) channel.
The narration style should be clear, engaging, and slightly immersive, helping bring RuneScape’s world, characters, and narratives to life. Much of the content is story-driven, including lore breakdowns and quest summaries, so strong storytelling ability is important.
A solid understanding of RuneScape 3 is essential, along with being an active player. Familiarity with RS3 lore, factions, major characters, items, skills, abilities, quests, and ongoing narrative arcs is required, as well as accurate pronunciation of in-game names, locations, and terminology.
The position is offered at $0.05 per word to start, with the potential for rate increases in the future as videos gain more views and the channel grows. At the current stage, scripts will typically range from 1,000 to 2,000 words per video, placing them in the short to medium length category.
Prior YouTube narration experience is preferred, along with a high-quality recording setup capable of producing clean, professional audio. Reliability and consistency are important for this ongoing role.
