Hey Oliver, Are You There?
Project Overview
Hey Oliver, Are You There? is a mystery fiction podcast that centers around the disappearance of a young man and the desperate attempt by his friend and sister to bring him home.
This is an independent production working without a budget so payment is deferred. Upon release, we intend to open a Patreon as well as potentially collect ad revenue. The funds from this will be dispersed among cast and crew according to the work they did on the project.
When you are logged in, you can comment, add submissions, create projects, upvote, search open roles, and way more. Login here.
Oliver's Mother has been dealing with the disappearance of her son and is emotionally distraught. She is a reoccurring character but this is not a lead role.

[sobbing] He didn’t come home last night. His phone and wallet are missing. I just- I just don’t know where he would have gone.
[yelling] I know! Casey! I know!
Stop, Casey. Just stop. Oliver ran away. I don’t know why he didn’t say anything to you. He didn’t say anything to any of us. Just please, please let it rest.
Please be able to do a proper "Newscaster Voice" with appropriate cadence and inflection.

In more somber news, there are still no leads in the case of Oliver McKinsey. The 18-year-old went missing from his family home a week ago and search efforts remain consistent, though they have yet to produce any results.
There is a bit of a backup heading north so commuters be warned: You may want to find a different route.
We spoke with Marsha Blake, head of the festival committee, this afternoon for updates on the preparations and this is what she had to say.
Ruth is the elderly librarian who helps the kids on their search to find Oliver.

Oh you kids! How many times do I have to tell you to call me Ruth?
I’m so sorry to hear about Oliver. I’m sure they’ll find him soon.
Well I’m glad to see you kids aren’t giving up. If you ask me, it’s awfully suspicious that the police stopped looking for him.
Grace Reyes is a psychic medium who helps the protagonists investigate the potential haunting at the lighthouse.

Of course, of course. Your friend picked quite a place to lose himself…
What I think is that you called me out here to find out. There is certainly a strong presence here. It may be nothing, but it may also be… everything. What a lovely and horrible place.
I’m going to have a look around for a moment, and then you may join me inside and we can begin to see what we can find on the other side.
Heather is a background character in this project. She works at the print shop where the protagonists go to get some film developed.

Well, the flat rate is five bucks, that’ll get you the photos back in about two weeks, assuming we don’t get any big projects in.
Well, if that’s the case, especially if there’s some sort of aliens involved…
I think I could make it a priority, if… If you let me make a few copies of those photos, just for my personal collection
