Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us) Multilingual Cover
Project Overview
Hi everyone! For this project, I wanted to make a multilingual cover of “Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us)” from Hazbin Hotel, with each character singing in a different language.
The idea is that each character will sing their part in a different language, using the lyrics from that language’s official Amazon Prime Video dub. So if you speak multiple languages, this project is perfect for you!All roles are open except Velvette, since I’ll be voicing Velvette in Turkish.
For the audition, you can choose any character and any language and sing that character’s part from the song. You can audition for multiple characters. The only requirement is that, you must use the official Amazon dub lyrics rather than writing your own adaptation. So if the language you want to audition in doesn’t have an official dub, please don’t write your own lyrics for it.
Note: You can also audition in English!
You don’t need a professional or external microphone to participate but a clean recording is important.
Once the cover is completed, it will be uploaded to my YouTube channel and everyone who participates will receive proper credit in the video description.
My first preference is for everyone to sing characters of their original gender, but if you can portray the character convincingly, I’m also open to genderbent versions!
If you’re selected for the project, basically you’ll just need to record your part clearly and send it to me via Discord or email. You’ll also need to send me the lyrics of the part you sang so I can add them to the video. If you have Discord, please include your username in your audition description. If not, that’s completely fine we can contact each other via email or here.
If you’re selected for any singing role, please know that you’ll also be selected for the ensemble. For example, if you’re singing Husk’s part in Italian, you’ll also sing the ensemble parts in Italian. There aren’t many ensemble lines anyway, and I want all the different languages to just turn into a fun little total mess there :pp
Excited to hear your auditions!!
Audio Engineer
I'm looking for an audio engineer who can mix these multiple vocals over the instrumental track. Professional experience isn't required! For audition purposes, please send a song you've previously mixed with vocals over an instrumental.
