Clash for Harmony

Anima is the host of Clash for Harmony, and a recurring character in FATE. 

She's generally optimistic and excitable about hosting CFH, even if she's prone to making mistakes sometimes, which she at least takes in good humour with a touch of sheepishness in her voice.

An ideal voice for Anima would be a female voice of medium-high range and the ability to switch between silly and serious when needed.

Ember is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE. 

He is a temperamental person easily prone outbursts and letting loose with his anger. A competitive and impatient individual, Ember isn't one for waiting around for people to explain strategies, and when he does actually sit down to listen, he'll generally demand that they get to the point.

An ideal voice for Ember would be a medium-pitched masc-presenting voice with the ability to express vocal anger. This role may involve shouting.

Fern is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

She is a calm, measured and kind-hearted individual with a love for botanics and challenging herself to learn more. However, she can be sensitive to having her self-worth being stepped on, and has a latent determination to prove herself.

An ideal voice for Fern would be fem-presenting, calm and precise, with the capacity to switch between a meditative tone of voice and a more emotive voice when needed.

Gift Tag is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is a very showy person who loves having screentime and getting everybody's attention. She views herself as the star of the show and has a rather pronounced instance of main character syndrome, and is prone to sulking when things don't go her way.

An ideal voice for Gift Tag would be medium-to-high and able to sound rather theatrical, speaking in a way that tries to grab everyone's attention. Her voice should also have range and should be able to devolve into showy sulking or dry snark on occasion.

Harp is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

Harp is a kind and optimistic person with a love for music and an eagerness to make friends and play her tones for other people. Despite her seemingly naive and innocent exterior, Harp has a strong will, and does not take kindly to people taking advantage of her and using her for their own gain.

An ideal voice for Harp would be medium-to-high pitched and able to convey a range of emotions, such as joy/excitement, concern for others, and contempt if she feels that she has been mistreated by someone.

Satellite is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

He is a smart, calm and rational individual with a talent for engineering and inventing things. He n be very eager to show off his inventions, though he can sometimes come off as somewhat bigheaded in his excitement, despite being well-meaning. He does, however, have some self-worth issues that sneak through his logical front sometimes.

An ideal voice for Satellite would be medium-pitched and measured, with the ability to casually nerd out on occasion.

Shoe is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is an energetic and highly competitive person who is always eager to show off, usually in the form of challenging them to races in order to bolster his self-proclaimed status as the "fastest thing alive". However, he's extremely clumsy and has a notorious habit of tripping over thin air.

An ideal voice for Shoe should be either medium or high pitched and very energetic. Shoe tends to fall over himself often, so you should be able to vocalise this.

Spear is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is a blunt and deadpan person who is experienced with surviving off of the land, and has used his experience to develop a great deal of pragmatism and resilience. In the game, he is extremely strategic and is willing to forge unlikely bonds to strengthen his position, understanding that he is playing a zero-sum game in which only one person can emerge victorious.

An ideal voice for Spear should be low-to-medium pitched and able to express his rational and strategic side well.

Spool is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

She is a cynical and anti-social person with a dry outlook on the world, and she generally prefers to be left alone to her own devices so that she can focus on her (few) hobbies, most of which involve her being by herself. Although she is rather stoic, she is also very principled and is not one for letting unexpected variables cloud her better judgement.

An ideal voice for Spool would be medium-low pitch with a dry and deadpan demeanour.

Badge is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

He is a kind and selfless person who always looks out for his peers' wellbeing. He tries not to be too overbearing, but he does have a secluded martyr complex that can reveal traces of itself at times, and has a habit of prioritising the quality of life of others at the expense of himself.

An ideal voice for Badge would be a medium-pitched and well-articulated voice that can express concern and emotion for others regularly.

Capsule is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is completely silent, being a man of absolutely no words, and speaks almost exclusively in symbols.

He doesn't need a voice actor, but he's on this list anyway for the sake of cohesiveness.

Hailstone is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is a kind-hearted person who is always looking out for the best interests of her peers and teammates. Soft-spoken by nature, she always tries to see the best in even the most problematic of people, even if this trait allows others to sometimes take advantage of her.

An ideal voice for Hailstone would be a medium-pitched female voice with a soft and caring tone.

Lace is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

Lace sees herself as a natural leader, and is accustomed to being the one calling the shots in almost any group scenario. However, she is so accustomed to this role that she has a strong habit of trying to force her leadership style on any group that she ends up being a part of. Her tendencies of being a control freak are generally a result of her genuinely believing that she needs to be taking the reins of any situation for it to not collapse like a house of cards.

An ideal voice for Lace would be medium pitched and able to express her dominant, leaderly side, while being able to convey a wide range of emotions depending on the situation.

Lantern is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony, with guest appearances in FATE.

He is a rather proud individual who nevertheless constantly feels undervalued by his surrounding community whenever they don't acknowledge what he believes himself to be capable of. As a result of this, he tends to show off a lot whenever a situation that demands his skillset arises, and while this attitude allows him to put a lot of energy and determination into the game, it can sometimes come to the detriment of those around him.

An ideal voice for Lantern would be medium-to-high pitched, and able to convey different emotions such as competitiveness, pride, stubbornness and frustration.

Prism is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

He is a kind and rather excitable individual with unbridled curiosity and the desire to learn more about the world he is in. Although he's able to make friends very quickly, he can sometimes develop an inferiority complex and feel the need to prove himself worthy of their friendship, which can lead to interesting results.

An ideal voice for Prism would be medium-to-high pitched, with the ability to switch between idealism and cynicism to demonstrate his shades of self-preservation.

Target is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is a hyperactive and extremely competitive person who tends to come off as rather psychotic sometimes. She especially loves to throw things, whether it be darts, javelins, or in most cases, other people. She may be a walking occupational hazard, but she has a certain passion burning within her that's rarely if ever extinguished.

An ideal voice for Target would be medium-to-high-pitched and able to really show Target's manic energy in all of its insane glory. The voice should also have range and should be able to express boredom or frustration when she isn't being allowed to do crazy stuff.

Teacup is a female contstant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

Teacup is a high-class and principled lady with an uptight air around her that permeates virtually every sentence that comes out of her mouth. She is a stickler for elegance and proper etiquette, and is unafraid to speak her mind if she feels that someone is acting out of line. She does have the capacity for talking softly to others, but the number of people who have seen or heard this side of her are few and far between.

An ideal voice for Teacup would be medium-to-high pitched, posh and uptight in order to reflect Teacup's elegant demeanour. Being able to do a British accent would also be appreciated, but this is not mandatory.

Amethyst is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is an extremely timid and anxious person who prefers to be out of sight and mind if she can help it, but she can be very capable and crafty when she is able to muster up the courage to have some presence and help out. She's also apparently able to turn invisible, but little-to-no research or knowledge has been invested into this phenomenon.

An ideal voice for Amethyst would be medium-high pitched and able to show tones of severe social anxiety and a desire to stay hidden.

Crystal Ball is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is a rather paranoid person who is devoted to divination and all things arcane, believing that he can see the future with his "third eye" and frequently telling his peers about the "omens" that he has foreseen, whether they be good or bad. He is superstitous to a fault, and although he means well, sometimes his efforts can be unintentionally off-putting towards his peers.

An ideal voice for Crystal Ball would be medium-to-high and should have a sort of "mystical" or "magical" intonation to it.

Disc is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

She is an extremely excitable person with a seemingly infinite reservoir of energy, although she can be rather short-sighted sometimes and tends to leap before the idea of looking even crosses her mind. She is, however, fiercely devoted to her friends, and doesn't take kindly to them being mistreated.

An ideal voice for Disc would be medium-high pitched (but not irritatingly high)

Highlighter is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony and FATE.

He is generally rather aloof and unenthusiastic about life, typically reacting to day-to-day situations with a thick air of unenthusiasm. However, he is not completely emotionless, and through a long-enough period of time, it may be possible to break through his stoic exterior.

An ideal voice for Highlighter would be deadpan and unenthused, but still capable of showing emotion when the situation demands it. (Your script will be annotated appropriately to indicate this.)

Mirror is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is an extremely particular and sharp individual with an unfathomable attention to detail and a relentless desire for things to be as close to perfection as possible. This includes the weather, the time of day, his own appearance, and the communities that he surrounds himself with, to the point that if he feels that anyone is tainting the atmosphere, he will do whatever he can to remove them by any means necessary.

An ideal voice for Mirror should be low-to-medium pitched, and should sound rather fancy and intellectual, while being able to express both serious contempt and some comical panic for his more light-hearted scenes.

Parasol is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is an extroverted and energetic lady with a near-limitless reservoir of optimism and eagerness for what the day ahead may bring. Although she is nothing short of perpetually excitable, she also has a great deal of compassion and cares deeply for the welfare of her peers.. even if she doesn't quite have the emotional maturity to express that in the best way she can manage.

An ideal voice for Parasol should be medium-to-high and able to switch between bubbly optimism and more toned-down serious and emotional moments when the scene demands it.

Tambourine is a male contestant in Clash for Harmony.

He is a well-meaning yet easily nerve-wracked person with a tendency to exhibit social awkwardness due to his somewhat sheltered past. He can be rather paranoid about the people around him and the situation that he is in, but he finds it easier to talk about himself and his feelings when he's able to find someone similar to him that he can confide in.

An ideal voice for Tambourine would be medium-to-high and able to express a range of thoughts and feelings. Either a masculine or a feminine voice would suffice.

Watering Can is a female contestant in Clash for Harmony.

She is a kind-hearted person who can be a bit of a pushover at times, and will often simply carry out tasks for her team automatically if she feels that nobody else will be willing to take on the task. Despite her tendency to bend the knee to the majority's will, she has a surprising amount of fight and inner strength that just needs the right circumstances to be properly brought out.

An ideal voice for Watering Can would be medium-to-high with the ability to express both her meek, anxious side and her determined persona for those occasions when she decides to stop sitting on the back lines and start acting.

Cauldron is a female contestant in FATE.

She is an anxious and introverted person whose closed-off personality and insecurities serve to disguise her high proficiency in all things magical. She has a low-level of self confidence in her otherworldy abilities and generally does not use her powers much, but is willing to make use of her talents whenever she feels herself being backed against the wall.

An ideal voice for Cauldron should be medium-pitched, calm and have a magical tinge to it.

Chest is a male contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

He is a rather laid-back yet competitively oriented person who has a fascination with finding "treasure", and is unafraid to show off his skills to others. He is somewhat lacking in social tact, however, and has a tendency to just blurt out what he's thinking in a given situation.

An ideal voice for Chest should be of a medium pitch and able to be rather tacit and laid-back most of the time. Chest does have some emotional moments, so you should be able to express that as well when the scenario demands it.

Cindy is a female contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

She is freakishly strong, being unafraid to use her impressive strength to help her out in challenges or otherwise achieve her goals and she is also very good at (intentionally or otherwise) intimidating her peers in order to get her way. She isn't exactly the brightest on the strategic side of things and can often be her own worst enemy, but she is willing to connect and form bonds with others if she feels that it would be beneficial for both of them.

An ideal voice for Cindy should be medium pitched and able to show a lot of passion and drive, or be deadpan at times. As Cindy can easily be ticked off or provoked, you should be able to express a lot of anger and should ideally be accustomed to yelling.

Clapboard is a female contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

She is an inquisitive mind with a love for film who has a teensy bit of main character syndrome, viewing herself as the protagonist of the story and having a need to get herself involved in every conceivable situation. She is relentless in her pursuit for answers to any mysteries or questions she may discover, even if this determination can prove to be detrimental to her and others.

An ideal voice for Clapboard should be medium-pitched and rather varied and colourful in the range of emotions that she can express.

Feather is a male contestant in FATE, and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

On the surface, he presents himself as a rather meek and inoffensive, yet pleasant individual with a surprising wealth of intelligence and social tact that allows him to quickly make friends in the game, despite the occasional eccentricity. However, he is also deeply cunning and far more knowledgeable about what's going on than he shows, knowledge which he is unafraid to leverage to benefit himself.

An ideal voice for Feather should be able to switch between low and medium pitches. Feather is a very emotionally varied character, and you should be able to show his personable side and his more serious, strategic side.

Flower Pot is a male contestant in FATE, and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

He is a kind and well-meaning yet timid person who tends to downplay his own skills and easily submit to the wills of others. However, if he can find a way to overcome his own lack of self-confidence, he can allow his true potential to bloom and discover some surprising hidden talents.

An ideal voice for Flower Pot would be medium-to-high pitched and able to convey his nervousness in social situations, or his determination whenever he manages to muster up the courage to take action.

Hairbrush is a female contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

She is a smug and narcissistic person who seems to have a rather high opinion of herself, as she enjoys acting like a "queen" and asserting control and authority over others. She does not take kindly to people defying, insulting or ignoring her demands and is fully willing to pull out all of the stops to ruin them in any way she can.

An ideal voice for Hairbrush should be similarly smug and egotistical, and "queenly-sounding" in a way to complement her personality. You should also be able to show a range of other emotions such as frustration, anger, distress and sadness in your performance.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) is a genderless contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

They initially started off as someone who was developed as a proof-of-concept for the potential of artificial life. However, they have a strong sense of individuality and self-identity and deeply value the importance of carving one's own path in life. While they're generally a polite and personable person, they can be a bit of a show-off and do not take kindly to their sense of individuality being downplayed or ignored.

An ideal voice for LCD could be of any pitch or gender. A filter may be applied to voice lines in post-production to fit the character, but the pitch and delivery of the voice will not be impacted.

Memory Card is a male contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

He is a friendly and intelligent individual who has lived his entire life with hyperthymesia, a condition that renders him unable to forget anything. Although this may seem like a blessing, Mem has lived with both the upsides and downsides of the condition, and occasionally feels himself envying those with the ability to forget. Nevertheless, he is very personable and devoted to those he cares about.

An ideal voice for Memory Card would be medium pitched and generally quite calm and sociable, while still being able to express his vulnerable moments.

Pentagon is a male contestant in FATE and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

He is a cool, calm and collected person who enters every situation with an air of smugness about him. He is rarely one to ever go into the details of his personal life, though, and he seems to be far more acquainted with interdimensional travel than anybody else in the series.

An ideal voice for Pentagon should be low or medium pitched and generally rather  laidback.

Scrapbook is a female contestant in FATE, and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

She is a kind-hearted and compassionate person who loves to emphasise the importance of making fond memories with others. She is never one to raise her voice or get into a fight, although sometimes she can be too passive for her own good, to the unintended detriment of others.

An ideal voice for Scrapbook should be medium-to-high pitched with a mix of soft-spokenness and energy in her voice.

SD Card is a recurring character in FATE and Clash for Harmony.

She is a rather forgetful and anxious person who feels insecure about herself as a result. However, she is an immensely talented artist and has a special connection towards another person who has been whisked into Starry's competition.

An ideal voice for SD Card should be medium-to-high pitched and able to express her insecurities and feelings well.

Tacky is a male contestant in FATE, and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

He is a no-nonsense person who is known for being brutally honest with his peers, unafraid to tell him what he thinks they need to hear rather than what they want to hear. However, while his arguments are not devoid of logic, the uncompromising harshness with which he expresses them can lead to his peers being reluctant to listen to him.

An ideal voice for Tacky should be medium-to-high pitched, serious and abrasive.

Yo-Yo is a female contestant in FATE, and an extra in Clash for Harmony.

She is a rather brash and outspoken person with a fiercely competitive spirit and a fiery disdain for people who act as if they are above everybody else, triggering a primal need inside her to kick them to the curb as soon as she can. While she's highly skilled and agile, she has a bad habit of letting her interpersonal conflicts bleed into her interactions with her peers.

An ideal voice for Yo-Yo should be medium or high pitched and able to show a lot of passion and determination in her voice. You shouldn't be afraid to be loud in this role, given how she usually conducts herself.

Starry is the host of FATE.

They are a stoic and relatively emotionless individual responsible for creating the competition and bringing the 21 contestants to the Fateplane to compete under the vague promise of winning "enlightenment". They are highly secretive towards the others, and wield a number of otherworldy abilities that grant them total control over the bizarre dimension where the game takes place.

An ideal voice for Starry should be medium-pitched and have an air of emotionless mystique about them.
