Katy Peterson is an actor and singer based in Westfield, MA, with a home studio set up, who loves to spend her days off playing music and baking goodies with her kids. Katy has been acting since the age of 5 and singing since the moment she could talk. For over 18 years, she worked as an actor, singer, music director, director, and producer for the Vermont Theatre Company. Katy previously sang with the award winning Blanche Moyse Chorale, featured annually in the New England Bach Festival, as well as directed and sang with her own a capella group. She studied musical theatre, classical, jazz, and other vocal styles under the mentorship of acclaimed mezzo-soprano Mary Westbrook-Geha, and Grammy award winner Richard Smith. Katy has also trained at Voice Over Bootcamp with voice actor and comedian Maggi Mayfield.

Any and all types of voice over work! I’m open to trying out lots of different types of mediums, play, and characters. Getting into raw, deep, emotional work is an area of strength for me—I’m not afraid to really get into powerful feelings, whether they’re quiet and restrained, or loud and meant to feel out of control.
I’m especially interested in finding singing work. I have a very wide range—I can cover anything from tenor to soprano II quite comfortably. Musical theatre is my favorite genre to sing, but I’m happy to lend my voice to most styles. You got music, I’ll sing it!
