Project Overview

Hey all!


ATTENTION! This fandubbing group will contain SPOILERS FOR ALL THREE MAIN GAMES!!! If you have not played the games I highly recommend you get caught up BEFORE auditioning!!!


Happy Voicing Havoc is a Danganronpa fan-dubbing group that is being established. We will be casting voice actors for all three main Danganronpa games. Things we will be doing include: 

-comic dubs 

-trial and game fandubs (Admit it, it'll be fun)

- gaming in character voices.

-chatting and having fun in general


You might notice a few of the characters will not be open for casting, this is because I have people I have cast already for those roles. I know, not the nicest thing to do, nor is it the best etiquette, but these actors are good for the roles. However, take free pick of the open characters I will list.


a couple ground rules: 

-have a Discord if you are going to audition! This makes it easier for all of us to stay in contact.

-2 to 3 characters max (if you are swamped for other roles in other projects please let me know so I can accommodate you if you need it.


We are currently opening one for Danganronpa 1 only, as I am currently the only manager for this project. DR2 and V3 are going to have to wait to have a casting call put out for this fandubbing group for now.

Edit: WARNING!!! We will be dubbing EVERYTHING in each game!! We won't just be dubbing the trials! We will be doing the free time events, and literally EVERYTHING else, including the pieces where the actual characters just say one small phrase! That means you will have a LOT of lines, depending on your characters!


With that in mind, if you are cast in this group, please please PLEASE take care of your throats and vocal cords! I CANNOT stress this enough!

Kyoko is a stoic person, who rarely shows her emotions, so as not to allow others to make her a target or push her around. Her voice tends to lack much emotion, though as the game progresses she shows more and more emotion.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru

Kiyotaka (Taka for short) is VERY hot-blooded, and "enthusiastic to the point of near anger." He has a loud, boisterous voice, full of energy and vitality.  He is very righteous, and as his title/talent suggests, he values morals and rules above all else, as well as effort. This is very evident in the first couple chapters.


After Mondo's execution, he becomes depressed and withdrawn, and very overly sensitive. Even before that, his upset state becomes very apparent.


When becoming Kiyondo, he becomes more aggressive, despite still refusing to use vulgar language. However, he also becomes very overprotective of Alter Ego.

  • (Annoyed, slightly condescending) "Who the hell's Taka!? Listen up! I'm me! Got it!? Don't bullcrap me! Isn't it obvious!? I'm Kiyotaka AND Mondo. So, like...Kiyondo, I guess... I'm gonna stick a banana up your tailpipe!"

Chihiro Fujisaki

Chihiro is very intelligent, but he also has a very meek and timid personality. He is very shy and apologizes a lot - it's easy to intimidate him to the point of tears. However, he also loves to talk about anything related to his work as a programmer and he becomes more lively whenever the topic is brought up.

  • (Nervously) "Um...s-sorry, I don't really want to talk about it right now." (More determined tone) "But I also don't want to leave things the way they are. So maybe I can talk about it later... After I try my best...to become strong... Then I can tell everyone."

  • (Determined, as well as somewhat pleading) "...I want to change. I wrapped myself in lies. I'm weak. I want to destroy that version of me forever! I have to change. I don't want to be weak anymore. You're so strong, it can't hurt you, right? Whatever secret Monokuma might tell us..."

Celestia Ludenberg

As an experienced gambler, Celestia appears collected, cold and cunning by nature. She possesses the ability to manipulate others to do her bidding and can lie with a straight face. However, her short temper shows itself when something doesn't go her way. She typically speaks in an Old English/slight German accent, and talks fairly softly and smiles often.

Sakura has a very low-pitched (For a woman), raspy voice. She often speaks solemnly, and gravely. She gets a bit easily embarrassed when given gifts and is kind and caring to her friends despite her "scary" appearance.

  • (Strained, angry)  "I...can't calm down... I don't care if I suffer for this. It's my fault, after all. But now *you're suffering because of me... You tried to protect me, but because of me... ...my closest friend got hurt! Because of me... ...my friends are all going to kill each other. This is all...my responsibility."

Mukuro Ikusaba is the Ultimate Soldier. Without the Junko disguise she talks in a soft feminine tone, with a slight lack of emotion.


In her Junko disguise she talks like a toned down valley girl.

Toko Fukawa/Genocide Jill

Toko Fukawa tends to stutter, and despite writing about romance is very awkward in real romantic interactions. She is gloomy and pessimistic typically. 


In Genocide Jill's personality, there is no stuttering, and she laughs maniacally at times when speaking.

Monokuma is often described as easygoing and cheerful at first glance, but with very sinister undertone. However, he always rather quickly reveals his evil nature by describing killing games and his desire for despair, and he is very well known for his habit to say and do whatever he wants to. He loves hysteria, violence and chaos, summarized in one of his catchphrases "thrills, chills, kills!". He also has his own signature laughs, a sadistic "puhuhu" ("upupupu" in the Japanese version) and a mocking "ah-hahahaha".


His voice is high-pitched (Mostly in a mocking way) and sometimes deepens into a growl of a voice when he is angered.
