hello ! this is my project , " the happiness and salvation academy " ! this is an unpaid passion project and all sfx , art , writing etc. will be handled by me ! but just in case , i opened a few roles to help me with writing / drawing.


what is " the happiness and salvation academy ? "

to summarize , it's an animatic that follows a girl named regina as she starts her second - year at high school in a prestigious academy , which her parents worked hard to support.

some odd and suspicious things happen , which leads her to investigate with her friends after school hours. what they find is... terrifying , to say the least ?

it might ( keyword : might ) be a bit dark ! please note that if you ' re following or auditioning.

    i've doodled these on a random textbook , but these are the concept designs on what would be koharu and vivi !

    another fact about this school is that the neck accessories are switched; girls wear ties , and boys wear ribbons. this ties a little bit into the filipino - esque nature of schools , since girls are more often than not wearing ties / ribbons than the men.

    and i know their jacket colors are different. oh noes , inconsistensy between doodles ! uh oh. but as you know , i'll fix that when i actually draw their character sheets.

    ( guess who i favor more between the two lol )

protagonist // a second - year in osias academy.
regina is a 17 - year - old gyaru. she comes from new york , but travelled and transferred to osias due to her father's job offer. after noticing suspicious happenings going around , she makes it her mission to unravel what could possibly be going on.
she's usually laidback but does show emotion when the situation is highly distressing. as a gyaru , she obviously uses gyaru slang in text and in real life. ( similar to daitaku helios ! )

antagonist // the picture - perfect student of osias academy.
as the school's representative , " heir " , and model student , james will always do the most to make sure everyone is " happy " and in order. if not ?... he might freak out a little bit.
james is always happy. and i mean always. even when he's mad , sad , or anything else he will always seem... fine with it. he will always have a happy tone , but with a bit of underlying emotion behind each word.
