Hello! My name’s Aeinzalot. This casting call is for a project I am working on for university, the 2d animated short, "GUILD". GUILD is a workplace comedy set in the fantasy world of Gigantha, following a small group of members of the Adventurer’s Guild, Rowe, Fissure, Tamella and Baldur, as they converse with an interview team about their lives and activities within the guild day to day.
I'll be casting 4 voice roles for the main 4 characters of the animation, and those cast will be expected to perform at least 3-4 minutes of dialogue, as well as some short vocalisations for grunts, effort sounds and screams that will be used in certain scenes to insinuate emotion and movement.
This is my first experience in outsourcing voices for my work, so I'll be very excited to work with whomever wishes to lend their talents to bring these characters to life! When you have been chosen for one of the roles, you will be messaged by discord for confirmation, and provided the script for the animation with the lines for your character highlighted.
This should be an easy $15 you can make in an hour or so, so feel free to use as many or as few takes as you need!
Whilst not a professional animator or director, I am hoping this project will provide me with much creative experience. If you are interested in any of my work in animatic's, voice acting or video editing, a few examples are available at my YouTube account linked in my profile.
THINGS TO NOTE
Due to this project being for a university, you may be asked to provide your name for proper crediting and sourcing for me to avoid academic misconduct. If you prefer to not use your legal name, please provide the alias or pseudonym by which you would wish to be credited as.
This work is currently in development and it's animation is currently unfinished. The goal is to use your recorded lines as reference for animating and scoring. If you have any questions about the status of the animation, please feel free to contact me!
This work will be uploaded to YouTube after completion. Please provide your preferred platform you would wish to be credited with for the video description.
Payment for this project will be strictly handled over PayPal. Please do not apply for any of the roles of this project if you do not have access to a PayPal account or do not feel comfortable using PayPal for your payment.
All voice actors accepted as cast members will be paid in full once their lines have been recorded, transfered and edited. As the project itself has no definitive completion date, with an expected development time of at least 5 months, all cast members can ask for updates regarding the project's development at any time.

BIO
Rowe Elanjo was once mistaken for the one to slay a might dragon, and has been playing into his fame ever since as the poster boy and face of the Adventurer’s Guild. And though he tells tall tales of his many exploits, none save a sparse few amongst his comrades realise that this swordsman is anything but heroic. With Rowe training in secret to one day live up to his own lofty legends, perhaps his heroic persona won't have to be a mask some day.

Convivial and Boisterous, but a little awkward when his heroic persona slips away.
Early 20’s, mid-high, heroically brave on the outside, highly awkward and wimpy on the inside.

BIO
One of the strongest members of the Guild, Fissure Nearshore is well respected by her peers, though only having joined due to the pressure from her family to take the place of her late brother. Though her skills make any job a breeze, the only value Fissure finds in her battles are as inspirations for her latest poem, fancying herself more of a writer than a warrior, no longer feeling obliged to her family’s demands amongst new friends at the Guild.
VOICE TYPE
Dry and Matter-of-Fact, can get authoritative when stressed or annoyed.
Late Teens, low-mid, the natural talent who shrugs at that which most tremble, emo.

BIO
Tamella Hutton is an optimistic young woman who initially joined the Adventurer’s Guild after mistaking it for the Scholar’s Guild, and was too polite to turn down the job offer once it was provided. With her position as the guild receptionist, Tamella manages the various requests and membership of the guild, using what little she learns from her position to write about monster ecology, hoping one day to help people understand them better.

Cheerful, Upbeat, but very Apologetic, has a tendency to stammer when stressed.
Early 20’s, high, skittish yet polite young woman, people-pleaser sometimes to a self-destructive degree.

Baldur Lindholm is a man wholly devoted to his dream of becoming a Paladin for the Holy Church and embarking on a glorious crusade, failing to see that the Church hasn’t been on a crusade in centuries and not actually knowing what a crusade is. Nevertheless, Baldur does his utmost to uphold honor and righteousness in his everyday life, working as a member of the Adventurer’s Guild to aid the people of the land.
VOICE TYPE
Noble, Dramatic, Funny, rolls his r’s a lot. The most comic-relief of the main cast.
Mid-Late 20’s, low-mid, the archetypical example of a chivalrous knight, if a little dim-witted.
