Ghosts of the Stars is a Scifi Survival Horror audio drama Podcast set in an unknown planet. They were aboard a colonizing ship headed towards a planet in Alpha Centauri but the main characters are sucked into a wormhole that then ejects them onto the atmosphere of an alien world. They must then try their best to survive in this hostile alien planet, thrive, conquer, and hopefully, one day, get back home.
This audio drama is going to be my very first attempt at semi professional work. Right now it is unpaid and so I will be making sure that everyone cast and who helped us make it happen is credited for their work. Once we have the first few episodes finished and ready to be published, we will also be launching our Patreon and hopefully, through Patreon, sponsorships, and views through multiple platforms, the show will make enough for me to be able to pay everyone. Once you are cast, I will be sending you an invitation to the team's discord page. YOU MUST HAVE A DISCORD. You must also be active in our discord, as this is where I'll be updating the team on the drama's progress and where I'll be directing you from.
For voice actors, please use a decent application or mic when auditioning. I don't need anything too fancy, but I must be able to hear you very clearly. This is also to make the work a little easier on our audio engineers. DO NOT SEND HEAVILY EDITED AUDIO. Some editing is fine, like removing background noise for example, but your voice and acting are the stars here and that's what I need to hear.
Looking for a video editor that can work on simple promotional trailers for the project. I need somebody with time on their hands and would be willing to use discord for main communication with me and the cast. Please send a sample of previous works. As this is a long term project, it is expected you stay active in the discord so you're updated on where the project is at at all times.

Helix is an artificial lifeform bonded with Doctor Jade Santos. His duty is to keep her in optimal bodily and mental health throughout her life as well as assisting her in her field. In order to be the best lifelong companion and assistant to her, he has adapted certain mannerisms to compliment her. He is very knowledgeable to medical terms, treatments, as well as able to tolerate her emotional outbursts calmly.

Capatain Iona is the captain in charge of the Pioneer. Shes been asleep in cryo during the crash, but have left detailed instructions for her officers to handle certain situation as should things go awry. Shes been awakened during descent.
The android captain is a voice of authority and must always have a commanding presence, but she is still a living soul, despite being inorganic. She has a no nonsense attitude but isn't afraid of showing how she feels. If you make her mad, you'll know it.
Iona knows that her body might not survive the coming encounter with the hostiles in the water.
"Hello?! Can anybody hear me? This is Captain Iona of the Pioneer. We were on our way to colonize Alpha Centauri, but according to my data, were nowhere near where were supposed to be. If there are any other survivors out there, I've deployed a life boat near one of the Pioneer's crash sites. There are hostiles in the water. I dont know how much time I have left, but to whoever finds this recording, I'm downloading a copy of myself in the life boats main frame. Godspeed, as you humans say. This is Captain Iona, out."
Captain Iona is on the lifeboat surrounded by hostile shark like humanoids in the water.
"Come on you damn things! Come at me! If I'm going down, I'm giving you hell! Raaaggghh!"

Lizca is a scorpion kin child, still learning the basics of her peoples hunting. She seems to enjoy cooking and helping Jade make medicine. She likes to feel important.

Turgut is the most handsome, strong, and skilled of the Whale Riders. He has a strong devotion to duty and honor and will do whatever he deems is necessary for the good of his people. He has never questioned the ways of the Whale Riders and the Seaborn, but meeting Soma is beginning to make him question whether their ways are still relevant and necessary. He is protective of those he loves. His voice is deep and manly.
"Stop. You can introduce yourself to everyone. Come"
"Follow the path. Other tunnels dangerous. Follow."
"I can't, Soma. I am the strongest and most capable rider of the village. It is my duty to lead the other riders with The Mating pilgrimage. I cannot abstain from participating. It is my duty. "
Engineer Williams is the byproduct of interspecies mingling between a human mother, and an alien mother. Both his mothers were engineers, his human mother being a mechanical engineer, and his alien mother being a biomechanical engineer. He was raised in a very comfortable and sheltered life. He had everything he could ask for except for what others had, friendship, adventure, independence. His mothers wanted only his happiness and so agreed to let their son go off on his own to another galaxy. Engineer Williams is a full fledged adult by human years, but due to his sheltered upbringing, he lacks the confidence and common sense of the common folk. He likes structure and may not react positively in chaotic and stressful situations.

Maya is a child born of an outcast mother. She is a very ciruous child and loves to find out about new things.

Kaya has the voice of "ice caressing your heart". She is kind but also ruthless. Kaya once trusted another of the Sky people, but something happened and she was cast out by her clan of Sanguipisce and had to give birth and raise her daughter alone at the crags, at the edge of the kelp sea where creatures roam, but life refuses to grow. Because of this she has grown distrustful, putting the survival and well being of her daughter above all else.
"Who are you who invades my waters?"
"Maya, no! Strangers are dangerous. Return to the cave!"
"You came from the sky. I trusted one of the sky people before. And now I and my daughter are outcast"
The weaver is a very accomplished member of the whale rider clan. He is able to weave and unweave the fabrics of reality itself. Some might call it magic. He is proud of his skills and knowledge and will only share and help those he deems worthy.

The Bloody Bull is the consort of The Queen. His job is protect her and perform the merging to keep himself from going insane. He is a genetically altered Annunaki and is not the first Bloody Bull, but one of many whose genetic mutations were passed on when the previous became too old to sustain its body. He constantly battles his wild and ferocious nature as well as the insanity lying in wait in the recesses of his mind. His voice is authoritative, a bit manic, and full of strength and vigor.

Azizz is a warrior and hunter of the Scorpion people. He is out teaching his daughter how to hunt with his wife when they stumble upon one of the characters. He is a tough man, but qjite kind and sweet

Mischa is a scorpion kin mother out with her husband to teach their daughtee how to hunt. She has been in multiple wars and is an accomplished warrior.

Queen is the backbone and known mother of all the sentient races on the new world. From her and from her Bloody Bulls, these races were created. Not many get the chance to see her, let alone hear her voice. Her voice has the energy of the darkest recesses of space, for The Edge is her domain, and from her is where all life ends. Her voice is like the cutting cold of winter's chill, but holds all the love and sadness of a mother.

Khrystal is a woman of mystery. Not much is known about her, but it is clear that she is not really a bad person. She acts with purpose in everything she does. As far as anyone knows, she's been traveling the frozen tundra for years. She never had company for long and isn't used to being with other people, but when she opens up to you and you are deemed worthy of trust, she's the most loyal companion you'll have.

*Surprised and alarmed* "What are you doing here?! These caverns are dangerous, and you're not equipped to deal with the creatures here. Go back!"
*She encounters the Arbiter again, but he seems to have brought a friend, a large, furry and scary friend*
"What is going on here? How are you riding that....that thing!?" *she seems hesitant to move closer* "Fine. You're determined aren't you. But im going to stay behind you. You and your pet go first." *she motions for them to go forward. "What? Im not riding that thing! I am perfectly fine in my power suit, thank you."
The readers are an accomplished but feared members of the whale rider society. Their ability to read into things unseen makes them isolated, as few can understand them, fewer still makes the effort. The reader is cut meaning his manhood is taken, but his talents as a reader saved him from death. He is grateful and glad for his job.

Arbiter soma is an alien lifeform from the Sol system. His race is still being debated, but he has great skills in speaking with alien species and lifeforms, somehow being able translate the sound and vibrations of their speech to something he can understand. He is also gay and very fabulous. He values his appearance very much, as not looking proper will send the wrong message about you. His xenodruid abilities gives him the ability to control plants and persuade beasts to give him an advantage.

Doctor Jade Santos is a Xenobiologist and a botanist. She specializes in treating flora based life forms, but is also skilled in treating humans as well as other lifeforms from the Sol star system. Doctor Santos comes off as demure and gentle, but is also a strong independent woman. She's passionate about her work and helping others, but can be quite hard on herself when she is unable to help or is otherwise useless in certain situations.

Pathfinder Santos is a Pathfinder in charge of a colonizing ship headed to a different solar system. Due to system failures, he had to evacuate the ship on an emergency escape pod. The lines above are when he awakens from passing out during descent. He lands on a violent ocean, full of plant life already trying to take his escape pod. The weather is stormy. The escape pod is about the size of a decent walkin closet. Feel free to send in improvised lines if you wish.
"Don't say that! There could still be survivors, we just need to find them."
"Okay Maisy. We're possibly in great danger. There's kelp already hanging on to the pod. Now what do we have....a survival knife, a broken fabricator, our systems are up, but there's no way to get solar power with this weather, a couple nutrient bars, and four bottles of fresh water."
