Kaya has the voice of "ice caressing your heart". She is kind but also ruthless. Kaya once trusted another of the Sky people, but something happened and she was cast out by her clan of Sanguipisce and had to give birth and raise her daughter alone at the crags, at the edge of the kelp sea where creatures roam, but life refuses to grow. Because of this she has grown distrustful, putting the survival and well being of her daughter above all else.
