Hey everyone, we’re back! This is a casting call for a comic dub/fandub of the official Genshin Impact comics. This is being produced by me and Javachipbusiness, and we are looking for voice actors to be a part of this project!
About the project:
This project is a fandubbing of the official Genshin Impact comics by Mihoyo. Right now we are casting for Chapter 1, but definitely plan to continue on to more chapters! No knowledge of the game is needed, just know there might be small character spoilers. The manga currently follows a different story than the game, and features characters not in the game.
For Chapter 1, the final video will be broken into two parts. We are casting for all the Chapter 1 characters however, and will be working on part 2 simultaneously with part 1.

Guidelines:
1) Mics with little to no background noise
2) 2-3 takes per line and no slating is preferred, however your audition will still be considered.
3) Keep in mind deadlines! We would like a turnaround time of 2 weeks after casting for lines. If you need deadline extensions that’s ok, just please let us know! We would like to stay as on top of things as possible.
4) Have fun! This is a passion project to have fun making and being a part of a project. We do however plan to handle it as professionally as possible. :)
Please also keep in mind:
-We plan to communicate through discord. If you’d like to take part but not work through discord though we can work something out!
-Some characters may need to scream, yell, or shout, and most characters have additional battle or action grunts. Please be prepared to do so if needed.
-While not required, it is recommended to read through the chapter beforehand, which you can find here: https://genshin.mihoyo.com/en/manga
-Some characters are recurring, and we’d love to have the same cast for future chapters
-Characters found in the chapter that aren’t listed here were cast prior
A servant to Il Dottore. A nervous bootlicker who knows if he screws up his head will be on the chopping block. Considers himself sly and good at negotiating. Not looking for anything too cartoony.
(panicked/ concerned for his life) Ma.. Master! Three is no cause for anger! We still have the upper hand! They can’t afford to refuse our offer! I’ll force them to fold!
(negotiating) We are committed to the defense of these lands. Your people can easily secure great honor by becoming one of us.
(Anger and pain) *yells in pain* Argh! What the hell! This is a trap!
A member of the Fatui Harbingers and a main antagonist of the manga. A ruthless, somewhat crazed man with no regard for human life. Sometimes speaks in a serious, angered tone, and other times switches to a crazed eccentric tone. Also occasionally mutters to himself or has crazed laughter. Not looking for anything too cartoony.
(angered/iritatted) You better, Krupp! You’ve wasted enough of my time! Go and do something before my patience runs out!
(patronizing) I’d love to indulge in this some more, but that’s it for now. Keep up the good work and hone your unimpressive powers.
(irritation/crazed) They’re nothing but a bunch of self-inflated tools.
The Seneschal of the Church of Favonius. Generally a friendly and formal man, but hesitant and tense when discussing matters with the Fatui.
(firm, but a bit hesitant) This is indeed a matter of grave import. The Grand Master must learn of this before we can decide.
(regretful) We should have done more. If we were stronger, we could have… we could have kept innocent people out of this.
(joyful, relieved, a bit tipsy) Hah! Don’t worry, Kaeya! The Dotorre already left town. He probably felt that the party was too boring.
An experienced maid assisting with Diluc’s event. A bit rough and straightforward, but not mean. Knowledgeable about the past events with the Fatui.
(condeming/ a bit annoyed) Watch your step! I can’t cover up for you if you bump into our guests and spill that wine on them.
(serious/striaghtforward) That vile drake plagued our city for many, many years. But a few years ago… this Dotorre passed by the city… and slew it.
A new butler assisting with Diluc’s event. Polite, respectful, and a bit naive. Doesn’t know about the past events with the Fatui.
(apologetic/polite) Oh dear. I’m so sorry Miss-us.
(curious) Why is our seneschal so polite and proper to that weird-looking guy?
Diluc’s butler, a young man who is polite and formal.
(formal) Yes, young master.
(formal) Apologies, esteemed guests. Master Diluc must excuse himself for a while.
(Nobleman) A single barrel of this fine vintage is worth one of my mansions.
(guards) *three attacking grunts* *three pained grunts*
An AI voice with one line. We are envisioning a female voice, but are open to male interpretations as well.
