A disembodied voice, should be calm and mellow, slow and precise speech but not dry and drab.  Give it a bit more of a professional energy and sound sort of excited. The general tone of voice is that of a lecture of sorts, or a voice being spoken over an editorial. This character is going to relay a lot of information. So it should be spoken by someone who has kind of a commanding voice but not so overly assertive but not too soft a bit monotone at times.

  • Hello, and welcome to Jump-star academy.
(calm, reassuring, polite. A line said like someone about to give a speech)

  • Are you an aspiring game developer? Join Jump-star academy!
(calm, slightly enthusiastic, commercial sounding voice.)

  • Game design? Art? History? programming and engineering? It's all here and more! I look forward to seeing you all there.
    (optimistic, friendly, polite, soft)

This is a character voice that's a bit more energetic and full of wonder, the lines are delivered like someone giving a presentation talk on stage or making a video guide on a particular subject.

  • "Why do we play games? Today we're going to explore the answer to that question and more"
    (inquisitive, excited, curious, energetic)

  • "Let's explain the feeling we get from games that keeps us coming back for more."

    (inquisitive, excited, curious, energetic)

  • "Why do horror games scare us? Let's find out!"

    (inquisitive, foreboding, curious, energetic)

A history teacher with a relaxed tone slightly excitable, with a bit of whimsy to the voice, a voice that has some wonder to it, but is still collected enough to deliver a sentence in a calm and cohesive manner, a normal speaking speed that is not too fast but also not incredibly slow. A laid back energy and slightly excitable attitude.

  • "Before you can truly understand something in its pure form, it's important to understand its most humble beginnings, this is the birth of an industry"

    (energetic, excitable, calm, collected)

  • "First introduced during this era, this very thing has only changed aesthetically speaking"
    (soft, relaxed, slight energetic, projecting)

  • "It's time we took a look at the things a growing industry left behind, but never forgot"
    (soft, relaxed, projecting)
