Project Overview
'from within the veil' is an indie animated pilot i am making alongside a small team of friends. it is a fantasy inspired story following a misfit princess and her friends as they uncover the mystery behind an infection that has plagued the land
In a world that's recovering from the rampant destruction of The Divergence and struggling to deal with an infectious bacteria that destroys everything it comes across, rumours say that the infamous cult 'The Children Of The Veil' have returned. Some rumors go as far to suggest they are plotting, plotting something bigger than anyone can ever know. There is something happening to this broken world, something no one could ever imagine, something from another world.
Theodora is the heir to the throne of Rivenguard, she mourns the loss of her twin as their birthday is a reminder of the sister she lost. Overwhelmed by the life of royalty and politics she yearns for a simpler life, a life of peace and quiet. On a day quite like any other, Theodora is swept away from her duties when everything goes awry and finds herself alone in the woods, confronted with a familiar face...

The high priestess of the children of the veil worships the ‘one beyond the veil’ and hopes to be able to bring it to this world in order to restore order and bring peace to the world. She is logical, conniving and will do whatever it takes to bring ‘the one beyond the veil’ back to this world
