About the project

Five Nights at Freddy's: Swap Edition retells the first FNAF with every role swapped, in

the spirit of "swap" AUs. Bonnie is the elegant leader with the top hat and microphone,

Freddy is the rough guitarist, Chica is the pirate of Chicken Cove and Foxy is the cook.

Golden Bonnie takes the place of Golden Freddy.

The story. You play Evan Afton, Michael's older brother. After causing the "Bite of '83"

with a Chica mask, Evan takes a night guard job at Bonnie's Restaurant Entertainment,

the successor of the old Bonnie's Family Friends, owned by his father William. In this

timeline William is not the killer: the murderer is his partner Henry. The restaurant is

haunted by the children's spirits, and Charlotte and Cassidy both possess Golden Bonnie.

Dialogue appears in short story scenes (intro, minigames between nights), in Mike

Schmidt's phone calls at the start of each night (like the classic FNAF phone calls), and

on the GAME OVER screen, where the animatronic that caught you says one line.

How to audition

• Pick one or more roles and record the audition lines listed under each role.

• Record each line as a separate file, 2-3 takes if you like. Leave about 0.5 seconds of

silence before and after.

• Name the files with the line code, for example vo_intro_07.wav, so they can go straight

into the game.

• Record dry: no music, no reverb or effects. Ghost or radio effects will be added in

post-production.

• Send your files and the name you want in the credits.FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S: SWAP EDITION

Role assigned to: Shawn Kraszczyk

Lead - young adult (18+)

Young man, 18-20 sounding. Haunted by guilt for the "Bite of '83" he caused to his little

brother Michael. Quiet, tired, sarcastic on the surface, breaking underneath. Takes the

night guard job to "make things right"

  • It's been weeks... and I still hear it. That sound.

  • Michael didn't deserve that. It was supposed to be a joke. Just a stupid mask. Mom won't look at me. Dad says it wasn't my fault... but he's lying. I know he is. Bonnie's Restaurant Entertainment... night security guard. Twelve to six. A hundred and twenty a week. Ask for Mr. William Afton." ...Dad. Of course. Maybe if I work there... maybe I can make things right. Somehow. I saw the ad. You need someone for the night shift. I do I'll take it. Arrr! Chica's comin' to get you, Mikey! Come on, let's get you closer to the stage. Chica wants to say hi! I just wanted him to laugh. I just... wanted him to stop crying.

  • I still have the mask. I can't throw it away. .I don't Five nights. I made it. Like who? .I need to get out of here

Role assigned to: Cable Guy

Lead - adult (20s-30s) - PHONE GUY

The previous night guard, now on his last week of day shifts. He

records a phone message for Evan at the start of every night, just

like the classic FNAF phone calls. Friendly, a little rambling,

nervous jokes, slowly more scared as the week goes on. His last

call (Night 4) ends badly.

  • Hey... is this thing recording? Okay. Good. Hi! This is a little message to help you get through your first night. I'm Mike. Mike Schmidt. I had this job before you. I'm finishing out my last week on the day shift now, so... yeah. Lucky you. Mr. Afton asked me to walk you through the basics. You've got limited power every night. Doors, lights, cameras - all of it eats into it. Use them when you need them, not because you're bored The characters are set to a free-roam mode after closing. Something about keeping the servos from locking up. Henry set it up. Don't ask me how it works. Bonnie's the one with the top hat. He's... shy, I guess. He only moves when nobody's looking at him. If you can't find him on the cameras, check them again. And again. Freddy likes the west hall. Foxy never stays out of the kitchen for long. And the Chicken Cove is closed for repairs, so Chica shouldn't be going anywhere. Shouldn't. If something on the panel goes red, open the reboot panel - bottom left - and restart it. Takes a few seconds. Don't panic. Okay. That's it for tonight. Doors closed when you need them. Good night, Evan. Uh, hello? Hey, you made it to night two! Told you it wasn't that bad. So, heads up. Freddy's been rough with the equipment lately. If you shine the light on him at the door, he'll smash it with that guitar. We've replaced three bulbs this month. I replaced two of them. If the flash goes out, the reboot panel brings it back. But while you're rebooting, you're not watching the doors. Keep that in mind. And Foxy - when he's in the kitchen, he turns on every oven in the place. That drains your power fast. If you hear pans clattering on Cam 6... yeah. That's him. Mr. Afton came by the office today, by the way. Asked how you were doing. He looked tired. I think he worries about you more than he says. Alright. Talk to you tomorrow

  • Hello? Hey, night three. You're doing better than I did, honestly. I need to tell you about Chica. If she leaves the Chicken Cove, she runs. Fast. Straight down the west hall. If you see her on Cam 2A, close the left door. Right away. She'll bang on the door. A lot. And every time she does, the system loses power. Henry swears it's a wiring fault.Hello? Hello? Evan, if you're hearing this, I'm still at the restaurant. I came back to grab my stuff and... I went into the parts room. There's an old costume back there. The golden one. From the old place - Family Friends. It's not supposed to be here. And it's... it's not empty, Evan. I don't think it's ever been empty. If you see a golden rabbit in your office, do NOT lift the monitor. Look at it. Keep looking until it's gone. Don't ask me how I know. Just do it. Listen, I'm going to tell Mr. Afton everything tomorrow, I swear, I just - wait. Someone's here. Henry? Henry, it's late, what are you- [a long silence, footsteps, the microphone screech] [a deep, slow laugh... then the line goes dead]

  • [static, distorted, two children's voices overlapping, slowed down] WE SEE YOU. YOU KEPT WATCHING. HE IS STILL HERE. HE WEARS THE YELLOW ONE. [a long burst of static, then silence]

Supporting - adult (40s)

Evan's father and owner of Bonnie's Restaurant Entertainment. In

this timeline he is NOT the villain: warm, nervous, a bit awkward,

deeply worried for his son. He survives this game and returns

later in the series.

  • Evan? I didn't think you'd actually come. Son... you don't have to do this. Nobody blames you for what happened to your brother. ..The animatronics get a little quirky at night. Henry says it's a software thing. Watch the cameras, mind the doors. And Evan... if you ever see a golden rabbit, don't look away from it. Not even for a second. Take your time. The ad will still be there tomorrow... but I'd rather it were you. Then welcome to Bonnie's Restaurant Entertainment. Your shift starts at midnight.

  • Careful with those, Henry. Those suits cost more than the whole building. Bonnie's Family Friends opens tomorrow. Everything has to be perfect. For the kids. A cake for the birthday table, then presents for everyone.

  • Look at them, Henry. Our first show. Can you believe it? Henry? What do you mean?

better.

  • Come on, kiddo. The party's back here. Don't be scared. It's just a costume... see? Just like the ones on stage. Relax, Will. They're just costumes. Big... empty... costumes.

  • You always did love this part, Will. The kids love the golden one the most. I'll keep it in the back. Safe. Just for me.

  • Nothing, old friend. Nothing at all.
